TTC baby number 1! af due xmas eve!

This is my month number 5 TTC!!

Needing support of so damn anxious! Dreading Christmas because I don't know what it is going to bring for me! Anyone else have xmas eve as their due for af??

I refuse to test before but I'm not feeling hopeful :(

I got my period Christmas Eve when TTC DS. I was gutted but just made sure I enjoyed Christmas and told myself I could drink champagne and it would be my last Christmas without a small person.

I fell pregnant in the March and he is a lively three year old!

Stay positive and try not to worry. Easy for me to say I know. I didn't feel positive this month and thought my period would arrive and it didn't. Tested positive but need some bloods doing as a few complications. What will be will be for us both.

Enjoy Christmas PG or champagne-filled!

Mine is due on 23rd so feeling the same as you! It's rubbish isn't it!! I'd gladly go without all the fizz (that my FIL has bought by the bucket load) to be able to tell my dh on Xmas day that I was pg again (I had a mc in Sept and am trying not to think how far along I would be if everything had worked out for us) Sad. Will keep my FX for us both xxx

Aww thanks :) I'm so excited but think af might ruin that lol. My fella already has a 5 year old, we just want our own to make us a proper little family... Plus, I'm 22 and he's 31 so he ain't getting any younger hehe!

If af does arrive, I shall be at the pub on xmas day drowning my sorrows!!

Yep exact same. Ttc no 1, bfp due 24th. It's cycle 500 or something. Hate the last few days waiting! x

Me too. I'd love to test xmas morning, would be the perfect xmas prezzie!
I've have aching chest for past couple of days but that could just be pre-af.

im on month 3 ttc, think i finally have the hang of what my bodies up to though and feel more relaxed and confident. Smile
Ive been using OPKs this month and got a positive yday, have DTD the last 5 days, morning and night yday just to be safe lol....sorry for tmi!
I feel optimisitic...fingers crossed.
AF is due new years day so it will either be an awesome start to 2013 or not so....

Yes - same here. AF due Xmas eve and been trying since January 2012. I'd happily pass on the Bailey's for a BFP!

Also only have 1 stick too lazy to go and get any more so not sure whether to save it for Xmas eve or Xmas day..........

At work now, feeling really light headed and icky and I've got achey boobies. Had to come out for fresh air. Dunno if this is a good sign or not??!!

I've got 11 days till I can test....eeek, I'm far too impatient. I have such a good feeling about this month but I'm only 2 dpo so it's wayyyyy to early to test.

I could test using my clear blue first response but I'm too scared incase it's negative, gonna wait it out I think :)

Mine was - 9 years ago.

I have 8.3yo DD sat next to me on the sofa as I type!

PS I did do about 5 tests over the festive period and finally got a proper BFP on New Year's Eve - as did two of my mates. We were all at the same party lying through our teeth about being on antibiotics and having hangovers from the night before and only discovered why in the February!

OMG how sad. When I was TTC you had to wait until you were two weeks late. This makes it seem so stressy.

The conceiving was easy, the keeping them in wasn't. Eventually got two though - looks at DS - almost 18 in corner of sofa in kitchen for once and saying he'll come to the neighbour's xmas drinks with me later. Xmas Smile

Good luck ladies - it works out eventually.

I'd like a magic get pregnant pill and monthy texts the rest of the time to say you're body works but you're not pregnant. Instead I get 18 months of AF hell and still no bfp. Bitter... Moi?? Lol. The name fits.

Wow if I got preggo at 16 I would have crapped my pants! Kids of that age are so bloody fertile tho.....the rudeness of it! Hope your folks took it ok?

Not really but what can you do? She wanted to keep him, best thing she ever did. She's so much more grown up now!

Aggravates me though, I should have been the one to make my mum a nana first :(

Feeling pre af-ish today, slight crampy, headachey and light headed....

Plus side I've finished work for Christmas, dreading the af show tho :( xx

yes, me too for baby number one! Slightly worrying hearing about all the looooong cycles it is taking people. This is our first month of trying. I'm 34. We were supposed to be waiting until after Christmas but just started early. Would so love to be pregnant. Now not sure whether to have a drink on Christmas day or not...and what to say to the in-laws if they ask why not. Oh, it's difficult! The recent evidence about it affecting your baby's IQ - versus the statistical likelihood that I'm not even pregnant anyway! I certainly don't feel pregnant! Does anyone know when the tests can show up positive? do you really have to be due on? Even if you think you ovulated more than 2 weeks ago? Ho hum. I'm sure in a 100 years they will feel sorry for us having to wait so long to know - more than likely they will have a test that tells you within half an hour!

I've got a clear blue first response text which you can use 4 days prior to you due on date. I'm saving it tho, I don't wanna wait but I don't want to waste money testing early lol xx

ive got some HPTs from amazon which pick up 10mls, the usual shop tests are 25ml....I hope those should pick up potential baby hormones pretty early. Ive not used any yet though...

Amazon is the way forward...bought 10 of them....I get a bit keen with the POAS. Smile

bought some OPK on their too, which I obv won't need next month as this is the month I get my BFP Grin

Fingers crossed you do!! I'm trying to avoid getting POAP crazy. Nearly tested yesterday but the other half persuaded me not lol!
