TTC baby number 1! af due xmas eve!

This is my month number 5 TTC!!

Needing support of so damn anxious! Dreading Christmas because I don't know what it is going to bring for me! Anyone else have xmas eve as their due for af??

I refuse to test before but I'm not feeling hopeful :(

oh I hate this. Should I buy more sticks that go to waste or wait and tempt fate? I don't need to stock up on OPKs because this will be the BFP month, right?!?!

Aggh. I feel like having a little faith will be the way forward. In fact even tempted to get a few tiny hats / babygros and tell fate to bugger off.

I would love to know how normal it its to feel symptoms. I don't feel anything at all except two spots on chin! Feel totally fine, and yet have always been very 'in tune' with my body - more sensitive to it than average I think. I wonder how common it is to be pregnant but with no symptoms. I am going to test on Christmas Day - although it will be way too early and not due til New Year's eve but they are just cheapy sticks. Here's hoping!

I've got generalised anxiety disorder so I'm definitely in tune with my body. Most the symptoms of anxiety mirror pregnancy symptoms. And my anxiety heightens around my period so I'm always symptom spotting. But blaming my anxiety issues for any symptoms I find lol xx

Lyndsey90 are you going to test soon? You mentioned you had one of those 'early' kits. How are you doing holding out? You have more patience than me! I'm testing a whole week ahead! Mother of Cleo - I'm testing Christmas Day! Going to hang on til then! You testing then? So exciting! What's funny is you see a lot of people putting their symptoms down but hardly anyone comes back saying whether it's pos or neg in the end! Perhaps they just go off and join other threads if they're pos?!

I am going to try and wait until the 27th as that is 4 days prior to when AF is due. My confidence is waining slightly....I was so sure this was our month, now im scared im wrong. Need to find my PMA asap.....I hope ur test makes ur Christmas Ami! I wish I could tell my parents on christmas day...they don't know we are trying an I am really looking forward to seeing their faces when we get our good news

I'm waiting till day after af is due lol. I'm amazed at my patience, this month feels so different. Been feeling queasy in the morning for past couple of days, I've had heartburn since like 4dpo which I was prescribed tablets for. Boobies have ached none stop all month. But I will hold out....!!!!

I will post xmas day whether test was bfn or bfp :)

I'm due tomorrow (ttc dc2 for 9 months...)But I have no will power and poa FRER and got bfn. :( Have been taking temps this month and got a sharp drop 2days ago, crampy today, af almost definitely on the way. Gutted. I don't know how much longer I can cope with the disappointment month after month. I keep looking at ds and bursting into tears I so desperately want a sibling for him.

This month I paid no attention to my O date, didn't go out of my way to 'try' for a baby.... We decided to just take it as it comes rather than making it stressful.

I've got no signs of af as yet. Usually I have back and stomach cramps for about 3 days prior but who knows.

worried you and me both. Sometimes think the monthly disappointment is ruining at least 2-3 days with DD every month.

Hi, just thought I'd post as I got a bfp this morning

I had typical pre-menstrual symptoms - tired (falling asleep at 8.30 last couple of nights), cramps, lower back ache (I put down to present wrapping bending over) and teary. I was a bit shocked this morning when it came back positive.

I poas at 8 days (I know, I know) and 10 days with an Internet cheaply 20mcg
(?) thing. At 10 days I got what I thought was an evaporation line.

Tried it again today and it came up more quickly (13dpo). Then i tried with an expensive clear blue one and it came up with the magic cross

Just to say I was shocked, as the symptoms I thought were just pmt symptoms.

I don't mean that to sound such a smug post. I just wanted to reassure some of you that no symptoms doesn't necessarily mean not pregnant.

resispa when did your spot show up? I've just had a huge one very unusual but only finished ov today (according to my ov calculater)..... Straw clutching on my part I think!

Thank you Lyndsey I still don't believe it, though DH says I definitely am as tonight I've got teary about whether an August baby will put him / her at a disadvantage in life, also got upset I had a really hot bath night before last and cried looking at some baby photos of ds2 earlier. The irrational hormones have definitely landed!!!

I'm getting twingey af aches. Dunno if I'm imagining it or what lol.
This is my first month on a TTC forum so I can't be that lucky and get a bfp lol!!
I've been stalking them for months but only registered mid this month >.

I have cramping today too, 6dpo, nothing too bad just a bit achey. Fingers crossed its a good sign.

oh - so very sorry Lyndsey. That's a real pain. I know you had your hopes up. Thanks for posting regardless. I've had no symptoms today at all. Starting to feel like it may not happen. Congrats to sheep! And thanks for letting us know what you're symptoms were and when you tested etc. That's useful to know. But won't it be a September baby? Why are you worrying about an August one? Can only be a few days in it? Maybe you'll have to cross your legs! That's what I was worried about too which is why we were supposed to start trying after Christmas day - oops - but it would still be Sept 7th if pregnant so hopefully just wouldn't come early! If I'm pregnant. Which likely am not. POAS tomorrow morning! (But will only be 10 dpo. Still, you never know! Good luck everyone and may your Christmas Dreams come true!!
