My period today is v weird, sorry if tmi... But I first had a light spot when I went too at like 12, nothing on underwear no tampon or anything, just been loo again, light spotage no staining on underwear, odd. Lol.

ooh - do a test! You never know and it is still possible to have a very light period when due if you are in the early stages of pregnancy, did you know that? Not just implantation bleeding I mean. Why don't you test tomorrow as planned, if it stays light. Obviously if it comes in full swing, then maybe next month will be yours. Here's hoping for your Christmas Day bfp!

lyndsey90 · 24/12/2012 17:10

Aww thanks for the info there lol. If it's still light I'll test in morrow.

TwoFacedCows · 25/12/2012 22:22

bless you. i am in just the same position, but my AFs are not even behaving, some times they dont come at all and i get all excited but still negative!

MotherOfCleo · 25/12/2012 22:30

ahhh shame Lyndsey, I feel your pain, I missed my AF the month before and got so excited, couldnt understand why i kept getting a BFN Sad

Felt like my body was laughing at me Sad

I didnt realise how much I wanted a baby until then, now it seems that everywhere I go their are baby bumps...makes me jealous.

It will be us soon tho!

lyndsey90 · 25/12/2012 22:37

Do your other halves understand how bloody awful it is?? X

TwoFacedCows · 25/12/2012 23:20

He is very relaxed about it all. He says we have not been trying for that long, so to stop getting my hopes up! he may also give me a Hmm face on the amount i have spent on tests

I am now trying soy isoflavones, so fingers crossed this will get some ovulation going!

TwoFacedCows · 25/12/2012 23:21

my crossing out didnt work! Blush

MotherOfCleo · 25/12/2012 23:25

not really no, I know he wants it too but he doesnt like seeing me stressed so makes light of things....also he likes the trying part of it Wink

lyndsey90 · 25/12/2012 23:37

Hahaha men!! My fella is laid back about it too. Bet it would be different if it was them not getting pregnant haha!! :D

OP posts:
TwoFacedCows · 25/12/2012 23:51

he almost fell over laughing at my naked hand stand up the wall after sex. Blush

MotherOfCleo · 25/12/2012 23:52

yep, hes always happy to think with his other head Wink

I just hate the feeling that my body is working against me, it doesnt help that my best friend is a doctor and so is very matter of fact about it, Im sure she will understand once she starts trying. Smile

You spend years thinking that if you miss a pill you'll get pregnant but then you realise thats not exactly true...false advertising.
We will be their soon enough! 2013 will be our year! Smile

MotherOfCleo · 25/12/2012 23:53

haha, ive never done the naked handstand up the wall lol, it wouldnt be an atttactive sight lol

TwoFacedCows · 26/12/2012 00:06

no it isn't here either! but thats desperation for you! Wink

I know, i have spent 10yrs trying not to get pregnant and now i want to!! arrghh! Smile

lyndsey90 · 26/12/2012 00:08

Pmsl at the naked handstand!! Made me chuckle.

My fella marched me to clinic when I missed my pill when we first got together to get the morning after pill. Pahaha why did I bother????!!!

The pill sucks, messed me up! Gave me anxiety issues pfft. It's overrated lol :)

It is a bit sad isn't it, the whole thing. I feel a bit sad about it. I don't understand why it doesn't happen if you dtd at the right time etc. and you are both healthy otherwise - why does it take so long? And why do you have to wait two whole weeks to find out? In this day and age! It's so silly, we have only been trying one month and that not even properly - but I have been waiting four years since we got married to tic, because of circumstances etc. So I feel like it should be that I've done all my waiting now! And I don't like other people thinking 'oh, it seems to be taking them a long time', even though they're probably not at all and tbh we have been lucky with in laws etc. not dropping hints etc. I just want it to happen really soon and I don't like waiting, and hoping, and hoping, and then being disappointed Xmas Sad. Thankfully dh is very sensible and says things like 'I should mentally prepare for at least six months of trying' and that 'it might be his problem anyway' etc. All of which is very sweet. He is not stressed about it, or not showing me his stress anyway...

lyndsey90 · 26/12/2012 17:20

This will be my 6th month ami and I'm 22 so you'd think I'd get pg really easy lol. My fella is older and already has a 5 year old so, so the way I feel is like, he's already got a child so he isn't overly bothered (even though it was a mutual decision). I start with stupid irrational thoughts like that cause I'm silly obv hehe xx
