This is my Plan: I get up to three round of IUI on the NHS and one round of IVF. I am hoping to get up the duff within 12 months or my chances will start plummeting due to Decreptitude. After this, I may stop.

I am going to have my post-ectopic HSG an follow up chat on the NHS (as it should happen in the next 6 week) and if they don't miraculously offer an NHS round of ivf, then I am going to ask them about doing it privately. I have just had enough.

faif, I have really come round to the idea that ivf is something that I think I might need. I fought like a bitch for them not to take my other tube, but on saner reflection I think that they are probably right and that both tubes were fucked, and it would be a miracle if the next fertilised egg made it through. I almost wish I'd let them take it and whack me straight in for NHS IVF.

Just had today's hcg result back. It's still falling, but a lot slower than it was, so they want to test again in a week.

Anyone have any idea of the rate at which hcg should fall? It was 20,000 the day of the operation, 2,500 two days after the operation, and now 797, ten days after that.

I'm a bit hmm about ivf as well. I'm desperate to been seen in clinic, but that's mainly so I can have some info to mull over. Not that you girls aren't a font of knowledge of course..
