Greetings sisters [puts flowers in hair]

Bring your very best woo & let's see if we can magick up a few baybees (insta-differs not allowed).

New recruits are required to locate the BESH spell aka the BESHtionnaire and submit for further scrutiny.

Sorry to hear about your vanishing line, winky. (PS are you newish or a namechanger?)

WinklyFriedChicken · 30/09/2012 10:16

Namechanger of sorts. I arrived during the Eurovision thread and drifted away but have drifted back. But think I'll drift away again.

sinkyroselee · 30/09/2012 11:00

Much as you Euro. Cramps improving, but sill feeling a bit housebound with the heaviness of it all. 80+ day cycles are bad on so many levels. Also got a good lie in though!

Ghj is off on a uni reunion thing. I sent a slightly ratty text because I'd not head he'd arrived ok etc ( long convoluted story, but he was going via several places and was worried he'd be really late). So last night involved tactical vomiting, waking up with a half eaten kebab and forgetting to remove contact lenses. So glad I had the bed o myself!

Winkly, you know you can pop in and out as you want. As long as you're not suggesting it's our bad chat scaring you away Hmm

sinkyroselee · 30/09/2012 11:03

Hum. Poor use of English, punctuation and grammar there. 'twas the boy in a state, not me. I had my chicken and leek pie, cried at dr who then knitted for a bit before going to bed.

My coat? Why yes, it's the old lady sensible one just there...

eurochick · 30/09/2012 13:52

I'm having a quiet weekend too Sinky. Over the past two nights I have slept for 21 hours! I feel better. I have had a very tough couple of months.

Winkly you can drop in and out as you like! We're quite free and easy over here.

Northey · 30/09/2012 14:28

On the subject of hippiness, we need to decide on a new theme soon...

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 30/09/2012 15:11

I have had the week from hell. Combination of factors really, which on their own would be fine. Friend's diffage announcement (even though I love her), next day SIL's diffage announcement coinciding with the most ferocious bout of PMT ever, followed by droid appearing at the most inconvenient moment possible, followed by a major allergy last night so that now I look like picture of a victim on Crimewatch (think duffed in eye sockets).

Could be worse I guess. I could be a starving Ethiopian

Northey · 30/09/2012 16:35

NGCECOAWT. Or whatever the acronym was. Poor miz-rie. Does the inconvenient droid come with a hilarious story?

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 30/09/2012 17:12

I've forgotten what that mean! No good can ever come of......?

No hilarious story. Soz.

Northey · 30/09/2012 17:22

A Woo Thread.

I think.

Northey · 30/09/2012 19:34

Gah! Just phoned hospital. The nurse wants to speak to the doctor before telling me my hcg results. I hate withheld info. I am quite happy with partial info and can be trusted to treat it with appropriate caution, but I fret like a thing if there is info about me which I can't be told for some reason.

I'm sure the nurse is just being cautious. But GAH.

How are the droidsters?

sinkyroselee · 30/09/2012 20:01

Meh. Just meh. Sorry about the droidal mischief rie. Things have been so grim here that, even with doubled up precautions have only dared to go out once, and that was a mad dash round the supermarket. Not caught out though. I still get a cold sweat about the time I was caught out. No hilarious story there either I'm afraid.

Tings seem to dying down my end though. Good job really I only have periods 3 time a year or so. Any more and I'd be like those Victorian ladies, all pale and interesting and fainting all over the place.

Hopefully nothing to worry about norf. It's probably just not zero, and so the nurse doesn't know what to say. I'll cross fingers etc for you.

Tis true, NGCECOAWT. We live and learn.

sinkyroselee · 30/09/2012 20:02

Too early for a Halloween fred?

Northey · 30/09/2012 20:26

We're well provided for with gore, certainly.

It's taken us just over a month to fill this one, so we should stl be going by the time it gets to Halloween on a new one.

Or we could do a bitter harvest kind of thing. Season of mists and mellow barrenness.

Northey · 30/09/2012 20:29

I remember droids like that, sink. When each one was basically a mini haemorrhage, and you just had to let it all pour and gloop out of you, whilst idly musing on those school leaflets that insisted you only ever lost an egg cup's worth of blood Confused

HaveALittleFaith · 30/09/2012 20:48

Worst droid I ever had was when we had French exchange students visiting and were on a day trip out. I was in fecking agony, doubled up in the model village toilets. Running late to get back to the coach but unable to move Confused egg cup my arse.

Northey · 30/09/2012 21:02

Massive lolz at detail of "model village toilets", and imagining you perched on a teeny model one :o

sinkyroselee · 30/09/2012 21:03

Barren harvest... Sounds grim. I like it. Will it scare off noobees? Do we care?

eurochick · 30/09/2012 21:15

Well, we seem to have taken around a month to fill this fred, so a halloween thread might work. We could aim to end it on halloween!

The egg cup thing is shyte. A mooncup is about the size of an egg cup. I fill mine three times a day for the first two or three days and double up with towels and tampons in the night. And then have a couple of lighter days. So by that reckoning, I have about 12 periods in one. No wonder I am a bit pale and tired!

JethroTull · 30/09/2012 21:17

Barren harvest sounds perfect. Sums up our moods right now!

Sorry for shitty shityness Rie
Definite GAH at Hospitals Norf

Once I was in bed with a boyfriend. I got out of bed (naked) & blood actually gushed out of me. Embarrassing & messy. I don't have issues with Newbs. As long as they don't drop the Butterdish within a week.

I have PMT. that's all.

FrankelSaysRelax · 30/09/2012 21:18

Lordy we are a melancholy bunch aren't we? Sorry for all the droidal happenings [gathers up various droids and puts them through a mangle]

I survived the baby shower last night, it wasn't too bad actually, though I did make an early escape blaming HWHNN for booking cinema tickets without checking with me. He was happy to be the "villain" in order to give me an excuse to leave. My BF was lovely, I texted her to say sorry for leaving early and she instantly knew what had happened and told me she thought I was amazing for coming at all. She is luffly.

So, here I am, not quite sure if I've ovulated or not. I'm on CD33 and got a big temp bump yesterday, but it fell back a bit this morning, so tomorrow will be key. We've managed the sechs 3 times in the last 5 days and will have one more for luck tonight and hope that is enough.

I got to see my namesake again yesterday, he was at the local racecourse to do a piece of work to make sure he's fit for his final race in 3 weeks time. We saw his trainer, Sir Henry Cecil, standing nearby so HWHNN took my race card over and asked him to sign it, which he did Grin. I'm going to get it framed Grin Blush Grin

Fingers crossed, frankel. And hooves.

Hospital just phoned - another good drop (70%), and please come back for another blood test next weekend. Which is fine by me.

FrankelSaysRelax · 30/09/2012 21:33

Good news norf

OP posts:
eurochick · 30/09/2012 22:52

Excellent, norfy.

Night all. I hope next week is a bit brighter for us all.

FrankelSaysRelax · 01/10/2012 07:08

Who is doing new fred? I've done several recently so suspect I am the Jonah that has cursed the BESH, so I'll stay away from the "create new thread" button for a while.

In other news, Futility Fiend is saying I have ov'd now, on Friday. We got the sechs in on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday so that's about as much as we could do.

Fun fact - I looked back through all my charts and it appears that I nearly always ovulate on a Friday or a Sunday. Could my body actually be trying to help out with HWHNN being away during the week? [thinks that's appropriately woo for this fred]
