Not testing tomorrow as I'm at my sister's house and couldn't be arsed to bring the tealight holder and test with me! If I am pregnant, it isn't going to go anywhere. :-)

Nic I'm very impressed with how restrained you have been. Btw I've never seen a pg test in which u need a container to pee on. Is it one of those cheap internet ones?

I'm due to test on 18th so Friday. That will be cd27, 13dpo so should be pretty accurate? Just need to hold out that long now.

Morning! Is the luteul phase normally 14 days? How long is everyone else's luteul phase at the moment? I'm 13DPO from when I thought I had ovulated. Fertility Friend says AF is due on day 15. Oh and BfN this morning...tested just in case :)

Short Luteal Phases
Ordinarily the luteal phase of a woman?s cycle is around 12-14 days, even if you have a very long cycle. The follicular phase may vary from woman to woman but the luteal phase is normally around 12-14 days for most women. A luteal phase that is shorter than 12 days may be a concern for some women. In order to sustain a pregnancy, you need to have enough progesterone. If the corpus luteum dies earlier than 12 days, your body may not produce enough progesterone for a healthy pregnancy.

do u need to know exactly when u ovulate to work out the length if ur luteal phase?

I think you might need a good guess as DPO1 would be day 1.

We've now gone into sync with each other Newbie, as I think I'm 13 DPO. Doubt I'm 15, which is what I thought I could be!

I'm just relieved my luteal phase is OK, as last month I'm not sure it was quite long enough.

Bored of waiting for AF now, ha ha. God knows how you've managed, Newbie. :-/
