DulcetMoans · 11/08/2012 21:38

Time to move over ladies. Would love to start this thread by announcing my BFP but unfortunately I can't because we all talk too much to get to test date!

All going for gold medals in baby-making and bound to get there soon, aren't we???

To mark the 125th day I've brought a chocolate brownie...not even sure I like them but it looked nice in the shop. I tried on a size 8 dress for work this morning and my stomach and hips have grown in the last 5 months! I've really stopped exercising since the start, thinking that I would be up the duff by now. Has anyone else noticed the piles creep up the scales? I really need to do something about this :-/ It doesn't help that I feel blue most of the time due to TTC issues!!

RaspberrysAndIcecream · 05/09/2012 14:28

Oh Pear, I understand being jealous of AF, it took 42 days for my first one to appear after the pill, how u have dealt with that long is amazing - not long till docs now!! I really hope u get some answers.
DH has admitted he's dissaponted this time, he always said it's early days before now, but it's nice that he's feeling dissapointed with me, if u know what I mean!
I've notice the pounds creeping on, I've been swimming to try and just keep a bit fitter, it's been making me feel much better afterwards!!

DulcetMoans · 05/09/2012 14:41

Weight is much easier to gain than lose, thats for sure. But you don't have to give up exercise completely because you are TTC. It's good for that even! You can keep it low impact of you are worried. Do a little running or yoga or something. No need to give up completely!

peardrop2 · 05/09/2012 14:45

I know you're not meant to give up exercising but pre TTC I did 1hr weightlifting, 1hr stomach exercises and 30minutes aerobic a week. I don't think weightlifting and stomach is good for TTC :-/ Maybe I should start swimming...swimming sounds nice Raspberry!

NickiNockiNoodle · 05/09/2012 14:47

Awww...bless you peardrop. :-/

I've not put weight on, but I have a wedding dress as incentive not to. See what happens after!

After my CM going AWOL, I'm now disgusted with how much there is. Creamy now. Only 3 DPO too. Hmmm!

Sorry AF got you Raspberries.

peardrop2 · 05/09/2012 14:54

Yeah the wedding dress is the best incentive! God I don't think I could get into mine now after the dress episode this morning...perhaps this will have to be my new goal lol

Nicola am I right in thinking that happened to you last time around 3DPO? Could be wrong though as we're always discussing the lovely subject! Coul have been yesterday but feels like a year ago for all I know Grin

GeordieRachel · 05/09/2012 15:17

Peardrop exercise is so good for my brain/ emotions I really couldn't give it up. Expecially if I gave it up for being knocked up, and I'm not yet.

First two week of cycle I do whatever hardcore thing I like and then chill it back to yoga, pilates, swimming, gentle approach to circuits and a bit of cycling in second half.

Same as with the food and booze approach. I go a bit "so feckin what??" during AF and the adjust after that

I'm having acupuncture and the needle lady is very keen on me not doing spinning etc second half! She is helping me "create a nurturing environment"

I think it's v important to do something for yourself as a person and not as a 'womb on legs - apply within (please!)'

NickiNockiNoodle · 05/09/2012 15:43

Yes, it did, Peardrop, but at about 5DPO, not 3. And I had that faint second line then too, so I'm a bit worried, tbh :-( Can do without that again.

Not long til you get answers now, thank god.

peardrop2 · 05/09/2012 15:52

OK maybe I need some acupuncture...where can I find that? I am scared of needles but what the hell I'm desperate (stalks off to find local puncture person on google)

NickiNockiNoodle · 05/09/2012 16:05

Your GP may be able to recommend if they agree with holistic medicine.

peardrop2 · 05/09/2012 16:15

Hmm my GP didn't know about EPO or Agnus Cactus last time I mentioned it but worth a try! Ta

peardrop2 · 05/09/2012 16:18

Nicola don't worry, cm changes all the time in luteul phase I think. Here read this ...After ovulation during your luteal phase (two week wait), your hormones progesterone which is secreted in a high amount from your corpus luteum, and estrogen which is still present in little amounts, will fluctuate. So you will experience random different types of cervical mucus during this time. Ranging from sticky, creamy, milky, egg white, tacky, creamy and egg white, yellow-like, jelly type, crumble like, and it will change sometimes from day to day. This doesn't mean you are or aren't pregnant.

NickiNockiNoodle · 05/09/2012 16:47

Wow! Thorough :-)

peardrop2 · 05/09/2012 17:12

Nicola did you expect less from me? Hah hah

OK found acupuncture clinic 5 min away from house. £45 for 45 mins...ouch :( I will deffinately give it a go If need be. Probably best to wait until Tuesday though to discuss idea with GP...I'm so inpatient :) 3 more working days to go...horrah!

NickiNockiNoodle · 05/09/2012 17:48

Ouch in every way, Peardrop!! But probably a good plan to wait until next week and find out what is going on from the doctor.

No, I expected no less...some of those types of CM are new to me :-) Mine has been changeable since ovulation, it has to be said. Contradicts Zita West a bit though. :-/

NickiNockiNoodle · 05/09/2012 18:00

Someone has to start the next thread!!

peardrop2 · 05/09/2012 18:04

Your turn Nic :)

Lolcbcblemonlime · 05/09/2012 18:05

What about reflexology peardrop? Have u heard anything about it?
My friend told me its supposed to be brilliant and no needles!
This is my first cycle on epo and I'm having almost no cm. starting to think I won't ov this month Sad
I do Zumba, ballroom dancing and LBT toning class. It helps me de-stress after work. I too put on weight too easily as love my food and wine Blush

peardrop2 · 05/09/2012 18:08

Hmm my advice comes from NG so maybe Zita knows better?

NickiNockiNoodle · 05/09/2012 18:14

I did thread 2...maybe Lol?

Relexology could be an idea :-)

DulcetMoans · 05/09/2012 19:04

Aw, has this one come to an end without any BFPs? That's so sad!

Talyra · 05/09/2012 19:10

Still no period yet! No more testing until tomorrow, though!

RaspberrysAndIcecream · 05/09/2012 19:24

Swimming is lovely pear!!! I go with a friend, we do a few warm up laps with gossip in-between & then some proper lengths, then warm down with gossip in-between!!! Lol!!! The gossip helps I think!!!
