NC optional but not essential. Create your tag line and describe your outfit in detail. Wanna be BESH superheroes must prove their might by undergoing a gruelling set of tasks completing the BESHtionnaire hidden elsewhere in old threads
Fly on in and make yourself at home in our obviously secret lair :)

CD15 today.

I can't believe it. It's the third positive OPK I've had in over a year!!

I can't believe how stupidly fucking excited I am Grin

HaveALittleFaith · 03/08/2012 14:41

kickers given your previous cynical stance I couldn't work out if this was genuine excitement or mockery! Had to look in conception to see you were serious! Well congratulations Grin get sechsing my good woman!

KickTheGuru · 03/08/2012 14:44

Sorry bouncy happy fluffy pinkness

I never get a positive anything. It's a nice "normal" sign Grin

I even took a photo and sent it to my DH says "Fancy a fuck" (pardon) Grin

KickTheGuru · 03/08/2012 14:49

Argh it's so pointless because I know that the egg may not drop or that it could drop in a week or that my environment is hostile but I've had a positive OPK literally 3 times in over a year. Including this one.

With the diabetes and stuff, they said I wouldn't have even been ovulating and I don't think I have done for at least the last 4 or 5 months.

It's just so stupid to be so excited. I said to DH it's not even about the pregnancy, it's just that tiny glimmer of hope that my body is coming back to what "textbook" normal is...

HaveALittleFaith · 03/08/2012 15:04

If your body is coming into normal ranges, that's great news! Grin

Woop woop! I think two lines on any kind of pish stick is worth celebrating.

I have droid. But for once I am welcoming it rather than wanting to bash the little metal f*er's head in. It means my body is getting back to normal after the evil downregging drugs. Quite remarkably so in fact. I don't know when my post-drugs bleed started as it ran on from my on drugs bleed, but I stopped the drugs on 1 July, so if you assume it started a day or two after that, it was almost exactly a month later than droid arrived. Now all I need to do is be able to lay an egg and I will have some comfort that the drugs haven't done any lasting damage to my lady equipment.

The downside of droid's arrival is that I had to cancel my gynae appointment today. There's not much point trying to get a look at my cervix when it must be like a scene from Carrie up there. I would just quite like to get that appointment over and done with, frankly, as it is stressing me out.

KickTheGuru · 03/08/2012 15:15

It's a clear blue left over from like...March so I got a smiley face!!! A SMILEY FACE!!! I have a clear go-ahead from a medical stick that gets urinated on to hump!

And shew what good news on the arrival of small, hairy man. Amazing how we take normal bodily functions for granted...

I felt like that last month - I was 7 days late. So ovulating on day 15 is incredibly exciting for me.

KickTheGuru · 03/08/2012 15:45

also we had decided that they don't work for me. i had 8 left over and have been seeing on them to literally bin them.

i am really surprised. we weren't going to buy more and my dh flat refused to agree to me using them since they have only been a complete waste of money.

InTheSunshine · 03/08/2012 15:46

Northey!!!!

KickTheGuru · 03/08/2012 15:46

peeing not seeing

shutting up now

blonderthanred · 03/08/2012 16:43

Kick, without meaning to overexcite you, I got a + on an opk in Feb after only having negatives for a year (including blood tests) and lo and behold that was my month.

I did not have a pure rush of love though. More a pure rush of, yes I know you're tired dear, just clamber on and you can sleep in a few minutes.

KickTheGuru · 03/08/2012 16:44

Bwaaaaaaaahahahaha Grin

We don't have pure rushes of love. It's very much like..."brushing my teeth IS foreplay, is it not?"

Northey · 03/08/2012 17:22

Brushing teeth? I need to up my seduction game, I think.

Thanks sunny :)

KickTheGuru · 03/08/2012 17:24

I know he wants some when he wants to go to bed at 10pm. And suggests it at 7pm...

Then he brushes his teeth.

Then I think....oooooaaarrrrr

How is the diffedness going?

Northey · 03/08/2012 17:37

Mostly characterised by anxiety so far. Once I can have a scan to be certain it's not another ectopic I will possibly allow myself a small glimmer of excitement.

KickTheGuru · 03/08/2012 17:38

Is there nothing they can do now to help alleviate that stress and anxiety?

Can no one do a scan now?

KickTheGuru · 03/08/2012 17:44

This had me giggling - I bet it's a reporter:

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/am_i_being_unreasonable/1532429-Is-it-so-hard-to-look-after-a-newborn

Northey · 03/08/2012 18:55

Nope, guru. Nothing to see before 6 weeks in either location, apparently.

KickTheGuru · 03/08/2012 19:15

how far along are you now?

CamelKnees · 03/08/2012 19:21

kickass well done on the old smiley face! There is something so absurdly comforting to know your body is doing what it should be. Restores my faith in biology when things happen at the right time (even if no baybee win as a result)

So ladies gather round. Am here for the big superhero reveal.

I present to you

Tittyfalarious

Outfit obvs has new name emblazoned on the back. Is pink (in honour of pee stick dye) made entirely from spanx fat-holdy-in material. Most importantly has conveniently constructed peephole torso section for prolonged observation of sore swollen knockers. Definitely an adults only superhero get up but then I'm not that fond of children en masse anyway.

I look forward to saving the good people of BESH city from an eternity of tired, distracted TTC humping with you all

eurochick · 03/08/2012 19:32

Oh ffs. I've just been hit by a facebook diffage scanpic announcement.

From a smoking, hard drinking couple who are older than us and got married December last year (but can't have started trying straight away as I'm pretty sure they had a malarial area holiday in Jan/Feb). It's just such a cruel reminder of how easy it is for others. I was feeling pretty good today too, despite it being CD1. Meh.

HaveALittleFaith · 03/08/2012 22:10

Angry winds you up doesn't it euro?

you've been very quiet my lovely! Are you pootling ok?

Just had a big row/chat with MSB. Things have been pretty rubbish between us, I've put it down to a lack of respect for each other and being rubbish at communicating problems. Think we've moved forward a bit but not easy......at least tomorrow we can sleep in a bed! I don't mind sleeping in the camper but I'm not loving the tent life!
