NC optional but not essential. Create your tag line and describe your outfit in detail. Wanna be BESH superheroes must prove their might by undergoing a gruelling set of tasks completing the BESHtionnaire hidden elsewhere in old threads
Fly on in and make yourself at home in our obviously secret lair :)

Agreed with kick. Gentle positive thoughts and insane nipple twirling Beshes and the bean will stick, norf. Keeping everything crossed for you (except the legs for obvious reasons).

Scan was good, right ovary had 1 follicle of ~16mm, left 1 of about 14.5mm. Should both be ready to trigger tomorrow or the day after, because my follicles grow 2.5-3mm every day once they get past 10mm. Big shot boss will decide and I'll hear tomorrow. Just a few more shots, an undignified procedure and then a BREAK :)

KickTheGuru · 02/08/2012 14:23

Oooh so they pick up that you're ovulating? That's awesome - get humping!!

You should both take the next couple days off work. I am thinking this is a BESH month Grin

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 02/08/2012 15:36

Kick we do at the moment IUI, so it is not humping time, but abstaining sadly in the lemon household. Although now you've put that thought in my mind... I am not yet ovulating, and we could sneak in a quick one before Grin

KickTheGuru · 02/08/2012 15:38

Why are you abstaining?

I would get a cheeky sesh in (in) Grin

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 02/08/2012 15:42

On doctor's orders. The two days before SB does his thing at the clinic. Although we are known to have abstained for a little less Wink. No abstaining necessary until we know when the IUI will actually take place.

KickTheGuru · 02/08/2012 15:55

Argh they should let him do his thing into a little cup and then do a testy westy a couple days later.

Abstinence is for the monkeys!

I am planning a sesh tonight

eurochick · 02/08/2012 21:09

Abstinence at the fertile time is obligatory for IUI (and very frustrating - you are ttc, know you are fertile, feel horny as hell and have to hold back so the drs get a good amount of swimmers to insert!).

lemons you want to clear out the old swimmers to make way for the fresh ones for the IUI sample. It'll be for a good cause! ;)

HaveALittleFaith · 02/08/2012 21:36

We've not had to have much abstinence in the Faith household, only pre-jiap. First two - no real issue, in fact had to push to ensure the sechs was had to make the sample a fresh one...recent one: its been 3 days! Hmm my, how times have changed Wink
Definitely not easy though!

Holy cow, I go to work and the BESHes go and get another bfp!

Too much to keep up with, but good luck with seching, oving, drugging it up and spunking on demand.

Am totally meh at the mo. I blame mid cycle apathy

ShredniVashtar · 02/08/2012 22:28

Oh my god, norf that's fantastic news! Keeping everything crossed for you - I empathise with the post ectopic nerves. So pleased that you've shown it can be done!

We're definitely not cycle buddies - metal monster turned up today after all. But have been to the needles lady and an feeling ok ish about it all.

CamelKnees · 02/08/2012 22:57

Huge congrats northaroony!

Totally thrilled for you and your news has amazing amazing news has cheered me up.

Right then who's next??????

CamelKnees · 02/08/2012 22:57

I am clearly as incapable of typing as I am at being a superhero. Soz. You know what I mean.....

agonising wait til we find out if the pure lurve has magicked a baybee
I remember those days a million years ago
Now it's just the mid cycle drudgery flamey described.

Northey · 03/08/2012 03:08

I hope she does ask her doctor for a test at 9dpo because of a moment of pure lurve.

FrankelSaysRelax · 03/08/2012 07:02

Morning BESH.

Hope the telling of the good news goes well today Norf

Hope you are feeling better today Dor

I POASed this morning to get my head straight - BFN, so god only knows what this spotting is about. It's been 3 consecutive days now, not lots but enough to be noticeable.

I get HWHNN back this afternoon - hurrah! So might not be about much this weekend. Hope you all have a great gin filled weekend Grin

jewelsandbinoculars · 03/08/2012 08:18

Such great news, dude. Enjoy the telling!

I found it really hard to trust in this pregnancy and spent a lot of time waiting to be told it had gone wrong/I had made it up (hence in part shameful lack of PESH interaction to date) but am 24 weeks now and she's wriggling on my bladder... I will be keeping all fingers firmly crossed for you!

Sorry to inflict such nekkidness on you all so early in the day.

FriendofDorothy · 03/08/2012 08:29

I am feeling considerably better today. My stomach has been rather noisy for the last few days. The Mister could hear it churning across the other side of the room last night. Heaven knows what it must sound like for Jim (as he is being known) tucked up in my belly.

KickTheGuru · 03/08/2012 09:30

Am I being completely unreasonable because I want to reply to a post like this with a very sarcastic comment (note: 6DPO)

^So what have I noticed so far....

-Sore boobs
-Slightly darker nipples
-Weird pulling pain in groin
-Nausea
-Bit dizzy and lightheaded^

FriendofDorothy · 03/08/2012 09:35

Do it! Be as sarcastic as you like!

KickTheGuru · 03/08/2012 09:41

Oooooh you guys are a bad influence!! I've hidden the thread now and will go on as per normal.

My DH and I decided last night that we will try VERY hard to not tell anyone if we do fall pregnant. Not for the first 3 months - until we know everything is ok and there are no congenital defects. I may tell you lot though. I just worry about having to tell that "other" kind of news and I hate it. We very nearly told my brother about the chemical pregnancy in December - but I wanted to wait for the line to get clearer.

How is everyone today??
Team GB doing well on the medals! Torch

HaveALittleFaith · 03/08/2012 09:58

Glad you have picked up dor. Be sure to keep drinking plenty today to replenish your fluid levels.

kick that Fred makes me quite sad. I remember being that sweet and naive way, way back. Like unprotected sechs 3 times could just win a baybee.

Well it's a gloriously sunny day for our last day in Weymouth. DNephew wants to go to 'the seaside' again so I think we're off to Weymouth beach and maybe swimming later. Fun! :)

OP posts:
lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 03/08/2012 10:04

Enjoy faif! The seaside is one of my favourite things, and swimming in the sea is even better. I went for a swim again this morning, partly project BMI, partly project feeling better in the head. And it seems to have done little for either project. I wolved down a lot of food upon return and than cried about the shit that is TTC. I should be working hard, but am contemplating a bit of sneaky Olympics watching, since I am at work most of next week and allegedly working from home today...

KickTheGuru · 03/08/2012 10:07

Is it wrong that I have never been sweet and naive?

I don't do pink and fluffy very well and I certainly won't make other people VOMIT by going on and on and on about how tender my DH is. And he would vomit all over me and it would just be messy. I guess some of us may be more secure in our relationships that we don't need to come on a forum like this and tell other people how in lurve I am because I potentially can't tell my husband.

Oh well. Piss it.

Is everyone glad for the Friday?!! Grin

KickTheGuru · 03/08/2012 13:50

Copy and pasted but:

Oh MY God ohmygodohmygodohmygodohmygodohmygodohmygod

I JUST GOT A POSITIVE OPK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ohmygodohmygodohmygodohmygodohmygod Grin

How on earth am I going to be on a positive pregnancy test?
