NC optional but not essential. Create your tag line and describe your outfit in detail. Wanna be BESH superheroes must prove their might by undergoing a gruelling set of tasks completing the BESHtionnaire hidden elsewhere in old threads

Well done on coping so far faif. And yay for no vomming (says she with no symptoms feeling smug all of a sudden).

eurochick · 22/08/2012 13:16

Have just googled methowotsit. I can see why you are anxious to avoid it, but you should call them Norf.

DolomitesDonkey · 22/08/2012 13:18

northy one of the old ESH had to take methowotsit following an ectopic and I'm sure she only had to stop for 3 months.

HaveALittleFaith · 22/08/2012 15:02

Spoke too soon. Ate a slice of pizza and promptly vomited 5 times Confused but did make it to the loo. No-one at work has guessed yet how they missed it I don't know good thing about doing a shift is I can go home now.

I realise it's scary norf and taking methotrexate is no light matter but you need to talk to them to make a plan.

Have just spoken to them. Please admire my bravery and maturity :)

My hcg fell from 19161 (just before op) to 2586 (48 hours later) and they are very pleased with me. I have to go back in a few days time (up to me to choose day) to check it's carrying on down to zero. But all is generally good.

Thank you all for encouraging me to call. AMNH's way of dealing with it was to get cross with me, which was no use at all. I think he needs to take lessons from you in how to do these things...

Poor faify. Is ginger any help to you? I had a water bOttle with flat ginger beer in which I found quite good at turning the edge of the nausea. Though from the sounds of it I wasn't as bad as you.

eurochick · 22/08/2012 15:56

Good puking faif.

Normally I would be commiserating, but in your case it is great news that the HCG is falling rapidly, norf.

I'm back to wondering wtf is going on. I've mentioned on here before that in about one month in three I get pains midway through the 2ww. I think these might be attempts at implantation. I have wondered if it was all in my head. And then on my last anovulatory cycle, I had nothing. Guess what? The pains are back. We are supposed to be having the summer off, but we did manage a couple of well-timed sff before I left. I am sure that I make teflon embies. :( Why won't they stick?

HaveALittleFaith · 22/08/2012 16:18

Ice lollies are awesome. They rehydrate me so I can eat. I might just stop eating between 7.30 and 4. Breakfast is fine. Tea last night was awesome (toad in the hole) but snacks and lunch are off. Not complaining of course.

In as much as it can be, that is good news norf. Well done for calling at least you know now. And it was the better outcome. Also good you can choose when you go back/when you're ready to travel.

Now for a peaceful evening in a ver naice hotel.

Happy puking Faithy!!

HaveALittleFaith · 22/08/2012 17:54

Sorry euro forgot to sympathise and promptly fell asleep! I don't know what's happening. I hope it's not Teflon baybees :( is the treatment for you NK cells ongoing?

I did not see it Frankel, is there is video?

OP posts:
FrankelSaysRelax · 22/08/2012 18:16

I'm on my phone so can't link to You Tube. If you head over there and search "Frankel International York 2012" you should find one. The videos posted by "RacingUK" are likely to be the best quality.

FrankelSaysRelax · 22/08/2012 18:20

I tell a lie, turns out on my phone Grin

HaveALittleFaith · 22/08/2012 18:32

As the news man on the radio said "the usain bolt of the horse world"!

Euro, you ok? Are your travels giving you too much time to think? (I know when I'm meant to be working and actually daydream, that my conception ishues thoughts seem to go into overdrive) Don't know anything about implant failure etc. is it something you could talk to the docs about? Is this the whole NK cell issue?

HaveALittleFaith · 22/08/2012 19:03

That's how I described him sinky!

OP posts:
sinkingflameofhilarity · 22/08/2012 19:25

Thought I'd heard that line before! I swear the man on BBC news said it- you should have copyrighted it!

HaveALittleFaith · 22/08/2012 19:34

I only said it to MSB when he got in about 5.45....

OP posts:
sinkingflameofhilarity · 22/08/2012 19:48

Oh Blush thought you meant you said it on here faife

Remember when I said I hear phrases and unconsciously claim them as my own? It seems it's trying that on you as well..

I'll get my coat (cape - supercape I mean)

HaveALittleFaith · 22/08/2012 20:02

Sadly no. I just tried to explain what Frankel did. he's the Usain Bolt of the horsey world came out. Bet the radio didn't say horsey! :) never mind!

OP posts:
eurochick · 22/08/2012 20:47

I'm ok thanks , ladies. V busy with work which helps. I've been sure since a couple of months in that this was an implantation problems. And the fact that we are unexplained with working tubes, eggs, swimmers would seem to support my theory. The womble twinges just make me sad. Another failed baybee.

I'm not taking the steroids again - not since I have discovered they are a risk factor for cervical abnormalities. Meh.

sinkingflameofhilarity · 22/08/2012 21:55

Meh indeed.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 23/08/2012 07:57

Bug meh for euro, although you are still in the game, (although why the hell is it not happened, unexplainedness is so frustrating that you end up imagining possibly more wrong than there really is).

But YAY for frankel our superstar. :)

I have been for a swim already diffedness causing insomnia anyone? I get up about 5 times a night and am unable to sleep after 6am

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 23/08/2012 07:58

Bug=big

FrankelSaysRelax · 23/08/2012 17:42

Afternoon all, very quiet in here today.

Norf my lovely, how are you doing?

We're back from York. Stayed in an utterly fabulous hotel which I would reccomend to you all: Hotel du Vin. They do a cracking dinner, bed and breakfast deal which adds about £40 to the cost of the room, but HWHNN and I ordered dinner worth over £80 so 'twas a bargain!

Waiting for droid to show (due Monday, not Sunday as I originally said) and feeling crampy. Just want to crack on with this treatment.

FrankelSaysRelax · 23/08/2012 20:25

Where are you all hiding?!

HaveALittleFaith · 23/08/2012 21:56

I've been out for a walk then a frantic dash to my friend's because I forgot we'd arranged to have dinner. Was nice but I'm shattered now!

Saw doc tonight who was congratulatory but did say they should start wee samples and blood tests due to me having a little bit of a weight problem...call a spade a spade doc, I'm obese Confused
