NC optional but not essential. Create your tag line and describe your outfit in detail. Wanna be BESH superheroes must prove their might by undergoing a gruelling set of tasks completing the BESHtionnaire hidden elsewhere in old threads
Fly on in and make yourself at home in our obviously secret lair :)

Careful with lavender on broken skin Norf - stingy!

I don't drink Port Rie but HWHNN is a regular imbiber - its a military thing, they've got all sorts of weird "rules" about Port Hmm

Good thinking on the injections though, I'll get all woo about it and all will be well Grin

alwyn · 20/08/2012 16:36

kat Yeah, they have documented exactly what support I'm going to get. Doesn't stop them having been crap before and making me think I'd done enough to pass then whopping it on me in the last week of term that I hadn't. Union now involved.

HaveALittleFaith · 20/08/2012 17:02

Wow Frankers things are moving on. Sounds like it will be a step forward. You too Rierie? So that's three of you with Jethro?

alwyn that sounds rubbish, totally unreasonable.

kat I'm glad you had a nice holibobs. How big is not-so-mini kit now?

Norf, position... Well... 2nd row at school, flanker when I joined a team, then saw the light and became a centre and never looked back. Until I became the experienced one, or maybe just old, and got moved to 10. Still play now, much to GHJ's exasperation. But definitely getting bored of the bruises!

Ooh frankle I also didn't realise you were peri-treatment. IVF? We're dropping in GHJ's sample tomorrow and they've promised me a quick appointment once all the tests are in cos they've messed my appointments about. That may be bullshit, but if not we might end up being cycle buddies- would be good, no? (although the term cycle buddies is a little close to baby dust and ((hugs)). I apologise)

I have sneakily checked my bloods again. LH/FSH still fucked up and v v polycystic. AMH 45. In "optimum fertility" range. But not as high as the polycystic range. Is this good or am I a polycystic with less ovarian reserve... I fear I maybe overthinking. This is why you should never check your own blood results.

sinkingflameofhilarity · 20/08/2012 17:20

Ooh. This may be a little premature, but we've been doing really badly with the superhero feem. Maybe a hippy fred may do nicely for the next?

Hello hello LP, how are things?

sinky, I'm about to start OI (Ovulation Induction) which is two steps down the ladder from IVF. I get the injections coupled with fanjo cam to monitor my follies. When I'm ready to lay they'll give me a shot of something (eek, can't remember whether it's LH or hCG!) and send me off for lots of the sechs. Next step up is IUI but that's not available on the NHS in my area.

ShredniVashtar · 20/08/2012 18:08

I'd like a hippy fred! Still seeing the needles lady, and still quashing my scepticism just about

For the benefit of auld BESHes, I'm Shred. TTC first baybee for 21 months now. I have a mmc and an ectopic to my name. No chance of further investigations until December, so plugging on with da sechs and - recently- the needles to compensate for only having the one tube. GFBW is green-fingered book worm, who is, erm, both of those things!

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 20/08/2012 19:04

Hello BESHes and invasion of the Oldies :) Welcome back!

Have I been here long enough to get tassles and dancing? Maybe wait til tomorrow for the official confirmation, or not

FrankelSaysRelax · 20/08/2012 19:08

Lemoney, please to explain yourself. Do we have a cluster diff in the offing?????

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 20/08/2012 19:13

IC says yes (very quietly) but I have my official test at the clinic tomorrow. I cannot believe it, and SB is even less convinced. But the absence of droidal invasion is noticable (15dpo today).

FrankelSaysRelax · 20/08/2012 19:19

[does a shimmy in a totally non committal fashion] Grin

Exciting times in BESH-land!

[attempts to use x-ray vision on lemoney's ovaries]

sinkingflameofhilarity · 20/08/2012 19:30

What what what?!

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 20/08/2012 19:42

:)

Not sure when I can update you lot on tomorrow's events, btw as am at MN-unfriendly work all day. And if, if, if, we may go out for dinner (tis near our anniversary as well).

FrankelSaysRelax · 20/08/2012 19:44

Well that's just not good enough lemon Wink

Keeping everything crossed for you Grin

sinkingflameofhilarity · 20/08/2012 19:48

Yes driz

Test first, then mn, then work. And we'll maybe allow you to have a nice meal after all that.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 20/08/2012 19:49

Well I'll see what I can do... Btw for oldies that don't know me, we've been TTC for 26 months, unexplained despite every standard test under the sun (including a lap in June), and this month was a thoroughly unenjoyable SO (with injectibles) + IUI. And whether or not this is real, we are taking a break because injectibles did not agree with me very well.

HaveALittleFaith · 20/08/2012 20:14

Wow! That's so exciting! Yes pliz to a sneaky update!

Frank is the idea that they control your ovulation then? Rather like a step up from the clomid

OP posts:
HaveALittleFaith · 20/08/2012 20:20

Oh yes, we had our first Relate session. Bit ouch Hmm specially when the word 'manipulative' was used about me. I think that relates more to my desire to have control over things in a life where I feel I have little rather than manipulation. Anyhoo the lady said she thinks it would help so we've agreed to do a proper session and see how it goes. My attitude is that with the stress we've been through (bereavement/fertility ishoos/fire) haven't caused the problem so much as exposed the weaknesses in our relationship. Ironically I think having a baby would have done that anyway so I'm glad we can do that before bean arrives.

(I was a bit distracted by the whole BFP thing!) drizz can't you get a FRER from a 24 hour supermarket?!

OP posts:
FrankelSaysRelax · 20/08/2012 20:28

Glad the counselling seems to help Faith, though I imagine it would make things a little raw.

Yes, the OI is a step up from Clomid. The Clomid didn't work for me, it made me ovulate but very, very irregularly so it was impossible to plan sechs at the right time - vital when you don't actually see much of each other! This way they can scan me several times to make sure the follicles are ready to pop before giving me an injection that will trigger ov within 48 hours.

CamelKnees · 20/08/2012 20:39

holy moly lemoncello
Bravo on suspected diffedness
Will not expose the mammaries until confirmed but bloody hell, ace news.

northy glad the recovery is officially underway. Bodice rippers, box sets and serious painkillers sounds the recipe for a good month off work.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 20/08/2012 20:43

Great that counselling seems to be useful, faif. And that you will get it sorted before bean arrives.

FSR OI with evil injectibles? It will be okay. Just check yourself sometimes for side effects...

Faif I am not going out again, I am vegging with laptop and telly. I am happy to wait til tomorrow. Get time to get used to the idea. SB is not home anyway and I am too much of a chicken to test by myself.

Btw did I miss camel's diffage? Woohoo, tassling away here.

Also not said anything about the ectopic, norf. Very, very sorry. I really hope the toob will still work.

JethroTull · 20/08/2012 21:02

Blardy hell it's an actual cluster diff Grin
