sinky don't feel too bad. My friend's wife had a lap. Was too bloated to get dressed afterwards, so went home in her dressing gown. Rie lletz is where they slice off a layer of your cervix to remove abnormal cells. It's usually done for severe abnormalities but for some reason my cons is suggesting it even though my smear was only mildly abnormal.

Yes to be fair it was over a year off the pill but I find it ridiculous how vague tv people are about fertility issues. Like its Gavin's sperm count that's low but they don't investigate why or talk about options. Like with us the doctor said they would obviously repeat the test and they did bloods not just oh well there's no chance of winning a baybee. He also said even with a low SA they could do ivf by spinning his sperm to get the good ones out. Other stupid tv shows with fertility stuff include Friends and especially One Tree Hill with Brooke - she thinks she's diffed, goes to get GP who says no you're not and you never will be. Eh? How could they possibly diagnose like that? If they're going to feature fertility issues they should do it properly! Specially since she just miracously gets diffed as well. Bollocks to that!

That's what I feel Rie. A minor abnormality has (depending on which study you read) somewhere between a 0.something% and a 3% chance of turning cancerous over several years. Treating for a disease I am at least 97% likely NOT to develop seems like overkill to me... Anyway, I can forget about it to some extent now. I had been very stressed about this appointment.

Also, sounds like your appointment went really well. Well done not just for getting what you wanted, but also getting his agreement that what you wanted was a reasonable and justifiable thing to do. Do you feel less stressed now it's all over? Or are you still thinking a bit about the next couple of smears?

Infertility in Friends really irritated me. They shagge a bit, then Monica got told she had an inhospitable womb, then two episodes later they were adopting! No discussion of options around treating her womb environment or anything! And the decision to adopt was all perky and easy and emotion-free! Fucking hell.

In an ultimate act of sharing, I shall now tell you all that I have had my first poo since the op and veru painful on the stomach it was too. But I feel massively better for having done it, I must say.

euro one of the early ESH is American and ended up adopting there, not easy at all - money talks, and even then - not easy!

Rie, drilling is where they laser away the cysts in PCOS that produce testosterone and knacker the whole hormonal balance. Seemed to work for a bit, but back to my massively high manly hormone levels within 6 months. Sigh.

My beef with any tv show is tha infertility seems to be added as a cheap plot tool to generate angst and rapid reconciliation, only to be insta diffed.
