I really enjoyed having a wedding bag. My bridesmaids were a bit laid back and didn't bother having handbags and I certainly wasn't going to buy them one on top of everything else! I had my powder, tissue, mints and lipgloss in mine :)

I won't have it at the church...it can stay in someone's car until the hotel :-)

Morning all...any POAS action?!

Lolcbcb · 08/08/2012 06:35

I didn't have a bag but my bridesmaid did. She had my lipstick and mascara as well as tissue. Oh and some rescue remedy cause I was so nervous so the drops helped loads!
U up early to poas? Grin

Newbie2 · 08/08/2012 06:44

Please please please make today go quicker...is it wrong that I'm wishing my life away now since TTC began?

When you hear the fact: on average it takes most couples 3 months to conceive, does that mean they get a BfP in cycle 3 or 4?

OP posts:
NicolaHazel · 08/08/2012 07:09

Hi lol, no I get up at 5.55am every week day to go to work. I'm on the train now. :-/

And an incentive to stay away from the sticks is that I have no cheap ones. I don't mind wasting 12p, but I won't waste a few quid!

And I'll be in my 4th cycle after 3 months, Newbie, as I came off the pill at the end of May. Would think that may be it. Suppose cycle length counts.

And I know what you mean...I just want to be pregnant and married! Definitely wishing time away.

DulcetMoans · 08/08/2012 08:53

Morning! No POAS then by the sounds of it. It's probably for the best.

I wish away the 2ww for sure, but it just seems to take so long!

LisaC2611 · 08/08/2012 09:02

Morning! I'm 8/9 dpi but not going to bother testing as I know af is on her way Sad

Oh well cycle 5 here we come fx for a bfp in september. Think my next ov will happen over the bh weekend do plenty of swi that weekend Wink

nicola my sister had a wedding bag when she got married. Don't think she touched it all night. I didn't have one when I got married but made sure that I gave my mum plenty of extra strong mints which she keep feeding me with during the day! I don't know where my phone was on the day but I couldn't have cared less tbh!

We got our wedding album and DVD yesterday 9 months after the wedding. Started watching the DVD and got all emotional, which I didn't do on the day. Brought back all the wonderful memories. You will have such a fantastic day!

NicolaHazel · 08/08/2012 09:08

Ah...me and Bri will text each other when we get separated during the night, so I'll have my phone. Though maybe I'll be too busy to use it. We will see! We text each other all the time, even from different rooms in our flat! Sad.

I'm not sure what is happening with my body...so much weird pain after last night's weird pain!

Shame no POAS action today!

Newbie2 · 08/08/2012 09:36

Lisa agh that's lovely. You waited a long time for that! I really enjoyed watching my DVD back (still am when the relatives ask to see it), although all the bits where I got way way too emotional are a bit cringe worthy!

No POAS from me until Friday. I know the answer though. Feeling mega blue that I've missed out on my spring anniversary baby :( I guess I should just wish for a healthy baby from now on.

NicolaHazel · 08/08/2012 09:48

You don't know it's not positive, Newbie.

I'm glad we aren't videoing our wedding...I'm guaranteed to cry. A lot!

Photos seem to take so long to arrive though. :-/

Newbie2 · 08/08/2012 10:03

I know, I've given up early like last month.

OP posts:
Newbie2 · 08/08/2012 10:11

Why did I just re-count how many days since my pill withdrawal. The answer hasn't cheered me up! 97 days...no wonder I'm so frustrated Grin

I don't think I'm going to get a bfp this cycle. Didn't dtd last night so I think I might have missed it. Feeling quite gutted now.

nicola when are you getting married? Are you going on honeymoon?

NicolaHazel · 08/08/2012 10:19

Shit, Newbie, that is mental. But don't give up yet. Will you still POAS to confirm.

Woody, I get married on 13th October. We are off to Iceland on honeymoon. :-) Those Northern Lights had better not be shy while we are there!

woody17 · 08/08/2012 10:23

Ah not long now then! I got married a few years ago - it honestly was one of the happiest days of my life.

Iceland will be amazing!

Newbie2 · 08/08/2012 10:42

Nicola mental indeed! I will still test on Friday am before seeing the GP. Don't want her to say go away, test and come back another day. I swear I'm not leaving until I get some sort of test (likely blood) or at least a promise of a test! I read that post-pill amenorrhea is common with people who took back-to-back pill packets...I do have to admit to the occasional back-to-back! I did ask the GP if it was safe to do this...of coarse they said its fine...so typical! Anyway, fingers crossed I get tested and given this magic pill and have twins Grin yay!

OP posts:
NicolaHazel · 08/08/2012 10:55

I'll test Friday too :-)

Not feeling pre-AF, just feeling odd!

NicolaHazel · 08/08/2012 10:55

Oh, have you seen any guidelines about how doctors deal with your situation, Newbie?

Newbie2 · 08/08/2012 10:58

Only thing I can find is that GPs will want to check you out after 3 months because it's the norm for your body to take 3 months to resume a normalish cycle post pill.

OP posts:
Newbie2 · 08/08/2012 11:04

I guess I'm now 3.5 cycles so I'm more then ready to see the GP!

OP posts:
Newbie2 · 08/08/2012 11:06

That's assuming I have neat 28day cycles I guess!

OP posts:
NicolaHazel · 08/08/2012 11:53

There is that!

Lolcbcb · 08/08/2012 12:28

Newbie you are saying no af at all after pill? I took pill for about 20 years on and off Blush and never had this problem! What a pain!
Nic your wedding is coming thick and fast! I'm sure it will be amazing.
Woody I could not be bothered to DTD yesterday either Sad was too tired. Not hopeful at all this month x

Newbie2 · 08/08/2012 12:30

Yep no AF since coming off the pill
