Oh that's really sad :( I hate hearing about mis carriages and stillbirths...too sad for words.

My boob ache is still around. Perhaps this is a sign of AF arriving because I also have giant spot on forehead. I know...so glam!

This article about testing early is well worth reading.

NicolaHazel · 07/08/2012 18:48

So delightful, Newbie...my back has come out in spots. Do not like!

I hate the heavy uterus feeling though. That can bugger off!

NicolaHazel · 07/08/2012 18:52

We all know we shouldn't test early...but the temptation is far too great not too.

Especially with cheapie sticks! :-)

FrankelSaysRelax · 07/08/2012 18:56

Oh I know it is tempting, and I've fallen for it myself on plenty of occasions. However I've found that negative tests are actually more upsetting than my period arriving.

The only way I have found around it is to have no tests in the house - its the safest way Grin

Newbie2 · 07/08/2012 19:02

Yeah I tried not having tests around...doesn't work for me

NicolaHazel · 07/08/2012 19:03

No...I just lure you into buying more!

Newbie2 · 07/08/2012 19:05

Exactly Grin Doesn't take much though does it!

OP posts:
NicolaHazel · 07/08/2012 19:14

Nope :-)

Just bought my wedding handbag!

DulcetMoans · 07/08/2012 19:17

Oh that is sad nicola. I have a similar story about someone from work but I don't want to bring everyone down. Lets just say there are worse things than what we are going through at the TTC stage.

I haven't been as bad since cycle 1 for POAS but still prone to doing it too early. I find convincing myself I am not pg helps me not feel sad about it when I get the BFN. Obviously doesn't always work like that but was easier to take for me last month.

NicolaHazel · 07/08/2012 19:32

Yeah...if you keep telling yourself you're not pregnant, it is easier.

I keep getting shooting pains across my uterus. I coughed a got a stabbing / shooting in the left hand side, followed by a stabbing pain across the middle. Both made me double up :-( What the hell is about?!

flutterby123 · 07/08/2012 20:10

Hi guys, do you mind if I join you? We got married in July and have just started TTC. I noticed the comment above about shooting pains across the uterus. I don't know if it's in my head, or if it's that I've never noticed PMT symtons that I've never paid attention to before?? But I've had that for a few days now, and had it about a week ago as well. All so confusing! I'm hoping for a BFP on Sunday (which is the day before DH 33rd birthday!)

NicolaHazel · 07/08/2012 20:18

Hi Flutterby

Congrats on the wedding, and welcome :-)

I've never had these pains before...I'm all 'fluttery' inside, and I've had those pains. Thankfully they've stopped now, but I am sitting down.

Fx for you for Sunday.

PuppyMummy · 07/08/2012 20:24

just had a lovely reflexology session.

apparently my left ovary and fallopian tube feels active (v exciting, although only on cd 10) expecting to ov on cd 12 or 13. told oh we need to get busy tomorrow as well as thurs and Fri as planned just in case!

she also said she felt my womb was nice and open, didn't feel like it had any issues.

Newbie2 · 07/08/2012 21:00

Nicola ooooooo that sounds exciting! Do we get to hear what it looks like or is that a secret? ;)

Puppy that is very intriguing! Interesting that they can tell you so much. Do you feel better for it?

NicolaHazel · 07/08/2012 21:04

It's a little ivory bag with a wrist strap and lace detail. Very pretty. Just big enough for a few bits :-)

Newbie2 · 07/08/2012 21:14

Sounds perfect :) don't forget to pack a couple of mints. Your mouth will get so dry from the nerves, lack of drink and lots of talking!

OP posts:
NicolaHazel · 07/08/2012 21:19

Ooh, good plan :-)

PuppyMummy · 07/08/2012 21:27

newbie I feel very chilled which is obviously good. but that's all!
were away on hols at mo also so that helps too!
although away with oh parents so making dtd tricky but we have been creative!

going to carry on with the reflexology once I'm home tho if this month doesn't work. my friend tried for over a yr and fell pregnant soon after having weekly reflexology, she suggested it to me and its relaxing even if it does nothing else!

Newbie2 · 07/08/2012 21:39

Puppy that sounds like a really positive way of dealing with stress and anxiety caused by TTC. I've got to figure out a way to be calmer next cycle and not loose the plot so early on. I'm hoping my house move will be a massive distraction and give my TTC brain a break!

MumOfTwoCats · 07/08/2012 21:41

Wedding handbag? What will you put in it Nicola ?

I did't have one, it was quite nice!

NicolaHazel · 07/08/2012 21:48

Room key so I can disappear for a private wee while dress wrestling, I'd like a little cash, my phone. Mints :-) Maybe lip gloss.

See, full already!

DulcetMoans · 07/08/2012 21:56

I would never have even thought of a wedding bag! Maybe I shouldn't be trying to plan a wedding!

Welcome flutterby! Could be one of our shortest members if you get your BFP on Sunday. Fx for you!

PuppyMummy · 07/08/2012 21:58

Nicola when my sister got married in June I was her bridesmaid. she didn't having a bag but I had one for our stuff.

we needed tissues, mints, mini deoderant , eyelashes glue, lipgloss and powder. didn't bother with cash! my mum and oh got our drinks!

NicolaHazel · 07/08/2012 22:05

Ah yes, tissues and deodorant. Good idea!
