Hi ladies, wow you've been busy chatting since I went on hol! no BFP from anyone yet then? I tested yest but bfn I'm afraid. Might me too early as I think I'm 10 days past ov today. Will hopefully find out soon as this is cd 35. Hmm DH thinks he did the job this month. Lol. We'll see.
Nicola I didnt use a bag when I got married, had super bridesmaids though that produced anything I needed like magicians. Lol. Iceland sounds great for a honeymoon.
Woody were you def oving yest? I didn't till cd26 this month, no chance it's still to happen?
Newbie I hope you get some answers soon, you seem pretty stressed about it all, you must be hormone overload too. X

Newbie2 · 08/08/2012 13:19

Oh dear. Sorry Nicola for asking what your bag looks like now as you've had lots of people say they didn't use a bag which is probably not what you want to hear right now Hmm! I did though and it was a great decision :)

Love I'm not stressed really just really keen ok desperate to have a baby

NicolaHazel · 08/08/2012 13:38

Don't worry...I want a bag and know it'll be useful!

I can't imagine how frustrated you must feel, Newbie.

woody17 · 08/08/2012 13:57

lolcbcb DH was too tired Sad I think if I hadn't had a +ve ov stick on Monday, I wouldn't have minded so much. Will just have to hope that EOD has been enough and will try and keep it up for the rest of the week!

woody17 · 08/08/2012 14:03

nicola I had a bag - had mints, lipgloss and lipstick, tissues, party feet, camera etc in it.

loveinNY I had signs over the wkend and then used an ov stick on Monday (for the first time), which was +ve. Then yesterday it was -ve. So I'm assuming I'll ov within 72 hours of Monday. We've been dtd at least eod for the last 2 weeks and will continue to do so for the rest of this week. I don't know why I'm so bothered about yesterday!

NicolaHazel · 08/08/2012 15:05

You all put me to shame with all your shagging. I am so rubbish...it'll be a miracle if I get pregnant!

Newbie2 · 08/08/2012 17:09

Yay I officially have a house to put a baby in Grin

NicolaHazel · 08/08/2012 17:36

Fantastic! When do you move?

My entire team decided I am pregnant today, due to my bloodhound sense of smell. I wasn't going to tell them it's been enhanced since coming off the pill! They don't need to know that kind of thing.

Had a weird stitch-type (but not a stitch as in the wrong place) pain in the right side of my uterus today. Kind of a couple of inches in from the hip bone.

I. Hate. Hormones.

And my body playing tricks on me. :-/

DulcetMoans · 08/08/2012 17:45

Not long now before we can find out though nicola! Two more sleeps til test!

Congrats newbie, hopefully that can take your attention away from TTC for a bit and then you will have a lovely surprise BFP!

NicolaHazel · 08/08/2012 17:57

I hope my new tests arrive in time! :-)

And I'm not sure anything distracts from TTC. I'm planning a wedding and I have plenty of time to think about it! I fit it round my wedding stuff just fine :-)

Newbie2 · 08/08/2012 18:02

Thanks ladies :) Yeah I know what you mean Nicola not even a busy day at work stops me thinking about TTC! We have two weeks left so I'll next be hopefully ovulating in the new house!

DulcetMoans · 08/08/2012 18:06

I am currently googling wedding venues and already finding it too stressful! How do you know what you want?! I am not one of these girls that has planned since I was 6 so I am starting completely fresh! The website I was just on tells me you will be checking your pre-wedding documentation and getting final dress fittings nicola! Thats what happens 3 months before apparently.

NicolaHazel · 08/08/2012 18:11

Ignore the websites! I did almost everything straight away and got good deals :-)

I'm not a girlie girl and had no idea what I wanted. It's fallen into place though, without buying a bridal magazine or going to a wedding fayre!

My choice of reception venue is limited back home, so that sorted itself. And my mum is pastor of a church which also sorted that out!

My dress was the first I tried on. My final fittings won't start until 5 weeks before. It fits perfectly at the moment. Or did in April...got it on again on Friday with my sister up. :-)

It will just come together, Dulcet!

PuppyMummy · 08/08/2012 18:14

me and oh r away with his parents this week. hav been to seaside today.

its cd11 so needed to dtd so we just drove back really fast while they stopped off at shop and dtd in literally 5 mins flat!! no romance here! I'm currently 'having a lie down' so I can keep my ass in the air!

the things we do!

DulcetMoans · 08/08/2012 18:22

Oh that was handy with your Mum then nicola! You sound very excited about it when you talk about it. Maybe I should stop googling then... but I can't seem to find actual places to have a civil ceremony. There are lots of places for receptions but not so many for the actual ceremony. I need to keep googling! It will have have to come together if we want to do it next July!

Haha. Sounds like you are having fun puppy, perhaps the challenging side of getting to DTD adds to the excitement!

LisaC2611 · 08/08/2012 18:22

Dulcet, don't over think it too much, first thing to decide is civil or religious, large medium or small then work from there.

I didn't get much from the wedding fayres I went to, but they sometimes give you ideas of what you don't want!

DulcetMoans · 08/08/2012 18:44

They give you free stuff, thats the main appeal in a wedding fair! Grin

woody17 · 08/08/2012 18:51

Congratulations on the house newbie

dulcet I found that it helped to go and see venues in the area where we were getting married. We instantly got a feel for somewhere and when we visiting the venue we chose, we knew straight away that it was the one! I have to say I loved buying wedding magazines and made a scrap book of all the things we liked. A lot of friends went on about 'schemes' and stuff but to be honest, DH and I just chose things we liked and it all ended up fitting together.

puppymummy your post made me laugh! We are staying at my mum and dad's house on sat night and I always feel really uncomfortable about dtd there - every sound/creak seems to be amplified!

Lolcbcb · 08/08/2012 18:51

I didn't have wedding fairs either and also booked first venue I visited as fell in love with it.
There are loads that will do the ceremony dulcet. U just need to decide if u want civil or religious. It will all fall into place.
Had a 9.5 hrs managers meeting today Angry with people asking me why I have been off sick. Told a few about mc but didn't want to elaborate!
Time to relax and enjoy evening and for some obsessive DTD Grin

woody17 · 08/08/2012 18:59

I am planning on some of that tonight too lolcbcb

nicola I think that this is the most ive dtd for ages!

NicolaHazel · 08/08/2012 19:37

Ah, yes, Woody, wedding schemes and themes. None of that here, apart from having our colour scheme. And that was dictated by my dress!

Everyone will be glad to know my sticks haven't arrived, so I can't POAS tomorrow morning. Friday or Saturday it is!

EchoDragon · 08/08/2012 19:39

Hi everyone.

Sorry it's been soo long since I've been on. Am in the process of catching up.

newbie still can't believe that you still haven't had AF.

I'm really bummed today my sister in law has just announced she is eight weeks gone. We've hardly DTD this month and DH has been away. Just really fed up with everything. I know i'm only on cycle 3 just feels like everyone is expecting but me.

Thank heaven I have you lovely ladies to you moan to.

NicolaHazel · 08/08/2012 19:41

Hi Echo.

That's really upsetting / frustrating about your SiL. Did you know they were trying?

It's so hard not to be jealous of announcements :-(

Fx you fall soon.

Newbie2 · 08/08/2012 20:02

Echo I know, it's crazy. However, I remember getting really oily skin before AF arrived when I was in my teens...not sure if that would still apply but I'm deffinately experiencing unusual oily skin! Sorry about your SIL blues, let's hope you're next so that you two can share your pregnancy experience..my friends are busy announcing baby no2 and I haven't even had 1 yet, plus they're younger then me rahhh. I think most ladies must feel like this when TTC...it's really emotionally frustrating!
