Hey been trying for over a year but this is first month I have prob taking it really seriously (with cbfm etc) so cycle 1, so I can start afresh with you all :)

Good news (sorry if really detailed) but I don't really get CM , just went a loo and I have some , I'm so happy but really bloated , told hubby def doing it tonight even though it is his day off

Yeah I have that's why they have sent me for the ultrsound. I got 2 more blood tests and hopefully I will get the answers I need :)

Wow that's quite an image! Nicola apparently I knew nothing. It's like we've been on a 3 month crash course, don't you think? :)

We didn't manage to DTD this morning :( DH really tried but I guess we've well and truly emptied the tank so to speak. I just hope yesterday's efforts on ovulation day did the trick. I'm not even sure if DTD the day after ovulation is any help anyway. If it is then maybe we should try again tonight.

MissM I peaked again to 36.48 so I'm hoping you will agree that temp confirms ovulation!

I wouldn't really confirm anything after one day. You said your temps were around 36.4 last week? If that's the case then what you had today isn't really a peak, it's your normal temperature, I would expect it to go up to 36.6 at the least if it were a peak. What it could be is on its way up to a peak or your reading yesterday was just a random dip that had nothing to do with OV. Check it again tomorrow and report back

Temping will tell you a lot but only after the fact as you're analysing patterns rather than one off temps. Keep DTD and keep temping and hopefully you'll get a better picture in a few days.

I know...it appears I knew absolutely jack about conception before TTC!

I'm not sure when I ovulated, as the different apps said Sat or Sun and I had pain both days. Hoping we caught it Sat am as the pain started after DTD!

We DTD last night too, as the site which said Sat was OV day said my fertile period ended then. It was make up sex too after a traumatic few days in our relationship. :-/

Fingers crossed we all caught it :-)

@Roxy- good to hear about what they are doing for you. Reassuring that they are doing so much.
@Newbie- apparently sperm needs to build up anyway and 2 days in a row won't produce the best swimmers so to speak. Lol. I'm sure the first day will have provided all you need.
@Nicola- glad you had make up sex rather than just ttc. That's better for your relationship.
Just back from a morning swimming, lunching and shopping with my pg friend. I'm so happy for her because she lost a baby at 30 weeks earlier this year but it also makes my wanting more intense. We'd have been due almost at the exact same time before my mc. Not jealous, just a bit sad. Wasn't meant to be I guess. Xx

Dulcet are you there? What does the lady say in your book...does sperm need to build up again or is that a myth? Is it ok to DtD every day?

Woody I would apply to clear blue. The list paperwork I got says approx 1000 women will be on the study at any one time. My number is just in the 3 hundreds so I think they will have space still.

Am going to try and tempt my DH to DTD tonight. Broken finger and all.

Well I'm glad to hear that Dulcet. It was the nurse at the FP clinic that told me not to 'wear him out' as he needs time to replenish his stock. she had a funny way with words. Lol. X
