Thanks Newbie. I'll wait till after AF just to be sure. Think I'm due on Thurs or Fri. Was going to buy a Power Hoop but going to wait till after AF too just in case by some sort of modern miracle we get pg. Thunder and lightning here now. It's horrid.
Anyone suggest a specific brand for temperature tracking? X

Newbie if you've OV'd your temp will peak tomorrow and it will stay high until your AF. With your cycle it's hard to tell what's going on but let's assume that your baseline temps in your pre-OV phase are around 36.4 that means that after you OV your temps will rise a few tenths of a degree (lets say to around 36.7) and they will stay around that temperature for around 2 weeks. If your temps dip below 36.4, it likely means you did not ovulate (barring a one off temp dip here and there, the trend of high temps should remain).

You'll know whether you OV'd today if your temperature is high (higher than 36.4) tomorrow and stays that way until you get your AF.

Look under 'fertility thermometers' on the left side bar. I brought the digital ideal for BBT charting £3.95. Works fine for me.

So on cd26 and have been feeling a bit twingey and just noticed what I imagine would be ewcm, so did a cb ov test and got a smiley face. dtd when dh gets home and we might be in with a chance this month after all. However, no idea when to test as this must be a pretty long cycle?
Can anyone help? Is it just always 2 weeks after ov? Xx

alwyn I'm really sorry to hear that :( It is however great that you will shortly receive some CB goodies! Let's believe they give you a boost for your next window!

Love yay for smiley faces! It seems a few of us our ovulating at the moment! I think you're meant to wait between 14 days post ovulation. Some people get a result on DPO10. Most people like to wait for the day AF is meant to arrive.

Hi All. I'm new to this so might be gatecrashing wrong thread...??

I've been with my Fiance for 12 years and we are finally ready to TTC. I came off Cerazette last monday (1 weeks ago) and we 'did it' on Friday night (thank you olympics!). I'm 33 so I should know this already, but could I be preg already or just symptoms of coming off the pill? (headache, tender larger boobs, tired as hell!). Has anyone on here got preg that quickly? I hope so. Sorry I don't know what all the abbreviations (BFP etc) mean yet so I won't repeat them in case I got them wrong... :)

It's highly unlikely but not impossible. Depends when you ovulated. Have you had a period since you came off?

What's even more unlikely though is that you would be experiencing pregnancy symptoms this early after conception. Most agree that you can not have symptoms until implantation which would be 6-12 days after fertilisation.

alwyn I am sorry that AF arrived. Do you know if clear blue are still looking for people for the trial?

There does appear to be a lot of us all ov'ing at the same time, hopefully it's a good sign that around 12-14 aug we are going to get lots of bfp's

Newbie, good to hear you've finally seemed to work out your cycle, have to say I like temping and using the fertility friend chart, I'm quite sad in that I like entering the temps and over analysing my graph compared to others etc, and really helps me work out ov dates and LP etc! Hopefully I'll be a bit more clued up for next month now!

Right I've DtD before work and after work today, I really can't do anymore! DH was waiting for me when I got in...bless him he really did take last nights bollocking on board

Glad it's sinking in with him newbie, do you know should not admit this but I actually love waking up, taking my temp and them coming downstairs to log my temp on the iPad - find it fascinating watching my graph change and this is only the first one, god help me when ive got a few cycles to compare! Hopefully wont be too many though! DH thinks I'm going crazy but he's getting involved bless him and asking me what does this mean, what does that mean :o he'll be an expert before long!

lets me too, but I update my iPhone next to my bed. Wish I had an iPad now, that must look super cool when zooming in! Sweet that your DH is getting involved in the graph...it's good to find something they can relate to otherwise it must be quite weird to see us turn so obsessive over night. My DH is threatening to start a DadsNet to gatecrash my party. Can you imagine...I can't see DadsNet being v popular!

Dulcet no choice when I'm all over the place with dates :) I'm done though...i swear If my body tells me I'm ovulating tmz I'll go nuts!

Yeah agree that the whole dadsnet wouldn't quite take off, they're not quite as obsessed as us :o

Oh newbie add me too please. Cycle 4 bfp due between the 8-12 of aug I think. I'm just taking that from having ovulated today. Think there will be a lot of poas-ing in a few weeks. X
