Thanks for the new thread strawbs! I was just trying to post and it said it was no longer accepting! I hope it pastes okay here...

purple, I'd convinced myself that I was and then on Friday or Saturday had really bad AF type cramps and thought she was on her way - you know that dragging feeling? So convinced myself I wasn't, but found quite a bit on t'internet about that being a symptom, so you never know...!

Backward, I am approaching it with an "enjoy every day" attitude. There is nothing we can do either way to prevent it, so I'm just trying to be positive, even through the sickness! Also, worrying can cause stress and stress just ain't good for those little beans! Try and be positive, but we'll all be here for you!

backwardpossom · 04/07/2012 09:47

Thanks pips I'll wait until I get a definite positive before I start freaking out completely Wink

kittykatsforever · 04/07/2012 09:53

There has been alot of good luck recently well done everyone long may it continue < please please please>
Things starting to get going here cd14 just hope ov isn't as late as last time but epo seems to be taking effect!
Winkle - i never dtd again 1/2 days after +Ive opk lol poor dh, he must know he's Bering used and abused! ( I think he does like it)
Backwards - being pg again scares me so much aswell, what a range of emotions we spiral through x

purplecorduroy · 04/07/2012 09:55

Yes pips I'm feeling a little bit of that 'dragging' feeling but convincing myself it's not quite the same as normal! In any case, all I can do is keep fx.

redstrawberry · 04/07/2012 09:56

When did you start getting the symptoms pips?

I usually get sore boobs a week before AF but few days before she arrives the books start getting less sore and cramps start.

So maybe I'll know again if my boobs stop feeling sore that AF is about to arrive. Did you have sore boobs constantly?

Just marking my place on the new thread. Here's to many more July bfps including mine please please please

SunshineOutdoors · 04/07/2012 10:15

Just read the end of the old thread and realised I missed a bfp. Congratulations scuba!

resipsa · 04/07/2012 10:20

The BFPs on here make me question the statistic that you only have a 25% chance (or an 8% chance if you're an old hag like me Wink) every month. We must be running at 50% plus. Please, please me next!

tedmundo · 04/07/2012 10:39

Wow it is all kicking off on this thread today!!

Congrats to backwardpossum, scubastevie and pips. i will have to warn the ladies on the March 2013 thread to expect a rush from this luckiest of lucky threads!

backward yes pregnancy after mc is a double edge sword. Happy but scared all in one.

backwardpossom · 04/07/2012 10:43

I just looked art the test again and there is definitely a line there. It's quite clear now. But it's almost 2 hours since I used it - so that could be an evap line, right?

tedmundo · 04/07/2012 10:44

Resipsa .. I wondered that too. Do you think it is because we are all doing the upmost, following the general rules that help with fertility? EPO, opks etc? It is interesting.

That said, May was the month of doom so perhaps it all evens out?

tedmundo · 04/07/2012 10:45

Is the line pink or grey?

I have found the 3 min tests do show a line after the 3 mins but are actually 30mins to properly develop. So a 10 min cheapie test could take an hour to fully develop I guess?

backwardpossom · 04/07/2012 10:47

Pinky grey? lol

tedmundo · 04/07/2012 10:57

Lol .. Oh you are a right help aren't you?!

I do think that is a Bfp. Is there a tesco near you? Go get some more!

backwardpossom · 04/07/2012 11:01

Haha, sorry! I know! Yeah I'll get a decent test this afternoon when I'm out. DS is going to playgroup for a bit so I'll get the chance to nip to Tesco in peace.

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 04/07/2012 11:02

Crikey you lot have been busy, was not expecting a new thread this morning. scuba congrats and a tentative congrats to possom I am sure that line will get stronger.

So impressed with all the BFPs already. I am only 5dpo and am desparately trying and failing not to symptom spot.

OpenMindedSceptic · 04/07/2012 11:06

Congratulations to pips and scuba!
possom i hope after the faint line you'll get a BFP in next couple days. It happended to me with DS, the line was soo faint i thought it was my imagination!
CD30 here, AF due tomorrow. Had lots of cramping last night, much stronger than usual Confused will test on friday i think, as af tends to appear in the afternoon and i don't want to waste a pg test.

winkle2 · 04/07/2012 11:42

Congrats scuba and good luck purple!

I think it is a BFP for what it's worth!

Re lots of BFPs, I hate to be the sound of doom and gloom, but based on personal experience, it is a horrible fact that some of us will have to start again, I'm afraid :( The November thread I was on before the mc was so full of people - I couldn't get over it (I think we had nearly 100 by the time I dropped out! - lots of valentine's babies - mine included!). I was always thinking about that 25% statistic and knew that it couldn't last for all of us and unfortunately for me that time I was one of the 75% that had to leave. That's why I said to Possum that we just have to enjoy every day that we are pregnant and make sure we are doing the best for our little beans. Please don't worry about statistics - you never know - if you look at the broader picture, that 75% may not even be chatting with us on mn, which could leave all of us in that golden 25%!!!

(I hope you don't think me flippant or dismissive, I'm petrified of going through another mc, but I believe life is always full of risks and some of them are worth taking. The only way I can guarantee not having another mc is to not try for another dc. To me, that is stupid!)

resipsa · 04/07/2012 12:00

Just spent the last 15 mins doing what any sane Grin woman does at work when she's no more than 3DPO; surfing the babymed website to check out my due date, first scan date etc etc etc. Convinced myself that it has to be my month cause the first scan would probably be the day before my birthday (and they tend to do them on Fris where I am) Grin and the week before we go back to the same place on holiday where we went when I'd just found out I was having DD. .

pipsicles · 04/07/2012 12:03

Re what we did this month, the only thing I noticed about my mmc was that I didn't start taking folic acid until after I thought I was pg (as we were not supposed to be trying - a night of throwing caution to the wind and anniversary passion!), whereas this time and with DS, they were definitely planned and I had been taking it for months. I don't know whether the lack of fa meant that there were defects, but I would say keep taking it girls - set an alarm to remind you if necessary!
