booboomonster · 02/09/2012 21:58

Phew just caught up with the thread. Great to hear about all your exploits.
congrats CHEESE!
sorry to hear about recent AF visits one and hayle, and long cycles... wilde
fx snow!

All your stories about pregnancy envy are ringing loud bells - before I went on hols SIL told me they were going to hold off for trying for a while, while I 'fessed up about MC and no luck since, then on our return from hols she announced via DH that she was 7 weeks pg. I was a bit Envy and felt a bit of a twat for being blatantly lied to - I mean, I don't expect her to tell me when they are shagging but at least don't say you are not even trying when you are actually upus duffus!!?
Anyway, I got over my Envy and sent a congratulatory text, only to hear via DH the next day that they'd been for scan and the pregnancy wasn't viable. So that made me feel a bit guilty over the whole thing.

Another buddy just told me she had been for 12 week scan with her husband and DD and found no heartbeat - this despite heartbeat a week earlier. Sad Just makes you realise how common MC is. And obviously, makes me petrified about getting pg!

Anyway, I'm off to bed - had friends over for dinner last night who left at 2am. Was fun, but... I am a lightweight these days. The reassuring thing is that they are older than us and have older kids, so maybe you get some energy back once your little'uns aren't quite so little. Night all!

LittleMissSnowShine · 03/09/2012 14:21

booboo - any friend who needs to be reminded that staying after half 12 when i have to get up with a toddler 6 hours later and still have to tackle the washing up is no longer a friend of mine lol i'm a total early night lightweight loser these days and i'm still in my twenties woop woop!!

any other news out there?? still no AF for me. bah and indeed humbug. i'm going to end up spending a fortune on hpts until it does though i haven't taken one in 4 days now. stayin strong! strong! (maybe if i put off taking one and AF still doesn't show then that BFN will eventually turn into a BFP hee)

onemoreforgoodmeasure · 03/09/2012 16:43

Mmm, some good food was had on here last night!

Welcome back Boo! Terrible behaviour on your sil's part and such a sad ending, how complex! Sad

It's getting really interesting Litttle, keep us posted!

2 am, eek. I do not have kids and I get techy at 10 pm if I'm not near my bed, preferrably am in bed with a book or the radio at 9 pm... and I am not ashamed!!! On the flip side I do like to get up early, get chores done. (God, I sound like I work on a farm!)

wilderumpus · 03/09/2012 17:12

welcome back boo! you were gone for so long i wondered where you were! sounds like you have a LOVELY, refreshed post-holiday attitude :) I am totally the opposite; 9dpo and starting to feel the heat of the end of a 2ww! So weird about your SIL. and sad about the mc :(

oh dear. I am the one who would keep you all up past 2am! I am a night owl which makes going to bed before midnight difficult and onerous but I do it for my sanity now. And I am a booze hound. A boozy, late night, owl-hound hybrid Grin you are a morning person one it seems. I am these days but grumpy with it :).

My boobs are completely killing me today. can't remember if this is normal or not. I have a knot where my wombage is too but think I have this every month. Please remind me why I shouldn't test tomorrow. I have lost all reason and my impatient nature is trying to make me test even tho io9t is utterly pointless. OH I wish I worked outside my house somewhere busy and away from my loo and tests! I wouldn't cave then.

UG to limbo land little. Is a nightmare, hope you get an answer soon x

OP posts:
onemoreforgoodmeasure · 03/09/2012 19:08

(but Wild you haven't talked about killer boobs and a wombage knot before...o...m...) Ahem. Now. When would you like to test?

wilderumpus · 03/09/2012 19:49

I think I always get sore boobs one, the test is really if they are still sore in a few days I suppose. the womb knot (!) is a bit harder to explain but probably just one of those things.

I don't want to test tomorrow :( because I know it will be a BFN and I would spend the day squinting at it and not working if i just simply thought I saw something! I never want to test but I am like a poas junkie and can't. stay. away :( even though I tell myself it is utterly futile and will ONLY put me in a shitty, self-pitying mood.

Oooooh I wish I went to work! then I would only need willpower for one wee! Grin

OP posts:
cheeseandmushroomtoastie · 03/09/2012 23:03

Fingers crossed for you all!

wilderumpus · 04/09/2012 09:13

BFP :) :) :) :)

strong, visible from a mile away :) I didn't crack for one and a half hours but I am so twingy and have that round ligament thing when I cough and burny boobs and have been in an unreasonably good mood... so I did crack even though I knew it would show nothing as yesterday it was so profoundly negative. Left it for 6 mins and went back up and it was so obvious!

It took my breath away and then I cried a lot out of shock.

and so here we go again. But I have a good feeling about this one. A really good feeling :) am hardly crampy :)

shit!

Woo hoo fOr Wilde!!!!
YAY!
So pleased for you :-)

Sheldonella · 04/09/2012 09:49

Oooooooh! Yay wilde. So very very happy for you :)

LittleMissSnowShine · 04/09/2012 10:07

Wilde - Woo hoo!!! Congrats!! So delighted for you, that's amazing news - have a good feeling about this for you as well :) Keep us posted on...everything!!! Grin

I think AF has arrived here - it's not like my normal AF Hmm Since AF returned post-bf DS I usually have a day or two of bad cramping and fairly light but very bright red bleeding, followed by a day or two of normal, fairly heavy AF, another light day and then done. Yesterday evening I had a bit of bleeding and my back was sore. Then no more bleeding, and none this morning when I woke up. And then a bit more bleeding about half an hour ago. Not exactly bright red either - since erpc I've had a bit of bleeding most days but for last week or two it's only been a very trace amount, usually in CM (sorry tmi) so this bleeding last night and this morning is the heaviest it's been in about a month. Anybody else have strange and different AF post-mc?

Anyway, I'm assuming this is AF which would make y'day CD1 and this is me started my first 'proper' post-mc cycle and since I'm not planning to move house again this month and DH will not be starting a new job again for the foreseeable future then we should be raring to go this month and hopefully in 30 days from now I'll also be clutching a nice bfp too. Sorry me me me, but weirded out by the odd bleeding!

Hope everyone else is well :)

wilderumpus · 04/09/2012 10:30

Ah snow it does sound like it could be AF. Did you do another pg test to be sure? I had spotting for a few days leading up to my first 3 post-mc AFs which I have never in my life had before.

Thanks for the congrats peeps. I went a got a frer and that is positive too. Having got over the initial joy am now settling into the Fear. first milestone, don't get bad cramps or terrible back pain. second, pass AF date on Friday. Then I might start to breathe.

I don't know whether to tell DH or not. Is that weird? I don't want to get his hopes up when it could all be another mc. But it is half his! hehe. Confused

OP posts:
LittleMissSnowShine · 04/09/2012 11:25

Wilde - i havent done another test but im happy enough if this really is af so i can be into my first proper cycle - folic acid at the ready! If i get pg this month baby will be due in june which will be roughly a year after got my bfp that ended up in mc which will feel a bit strange but fx anyway :) two x bfps and sore boobs equals pg, def tell your dh! Celebrate any good news without worrying about how things will turn out, its all about the future from here on in x

wilderumpus · 04/09/2012 11:52

you are wise snow, thank you :) for some reason I think I am making it up but the lines are really, very definitely there. My boobs are soooo sore and really they should be fine at this stage of my cycle. have been having some crazy dreams too but thought that was because of work being so demanding atm. one you would also be amused to know I had my horrible watery mouth from day one again! So I did hope I was pg but then thought it was probably me symptom spotting and wishing it (though it is gross and makes me want to gag). that Guru lady-who-got-kicked-off-for-talking-offensive-bollocks would be telling me it can't be true though, no symptoms of pg are allowed before week 4!

All that snagging paid off Wilde, god if anyone can deserve to get pregnant its you. I am so thrilled for you.

just plodding along here, i feel ok for a couple of days then i throw up again. Back to work tomorrow so hopefully the worst is behind me. The smell of wine makes me gag at the minute but i still miss it a little bit!!

ChuckleMonster · 04/09/2012 14:13

Ffs... Shagging, all that snagging paid off!

ChuckleMonster · 04/09/2012 14:14

And again. . .all that s h a g g I n g paid off!

wilderumpus · 04/09/2012 14:25

snagging! yes we snagged a lot because of the chuffing pos opk, wonky cycles and then my fertile signs not matching! good job we kept at it and actually paid attention to my own signs as they were right and the opk was a big tease!

Am very cross as sainsburys were meant to be delivering by 2 and still not here! I need mah sausage rolls lunch! starving marvin.

OP posts:
LittleMissSnowShine · 04/09/2012 14:48

chuckle / cheese / wilde - all up the duff! this is a lucky thread!

AF or faux-AF seems to have kind of disappeared again. No more bleeding! wtf! Grrr @ weird post-mc cycles - I'm away to ask the OTHER gurus (hee) of mumsnet if they have any ideas...

Haylebop12 · 04/09/2012 15:18

I'm with you on that little
Will be dtd eod from today for 3 weeks as I have no idea when I will be ovulating!
