Yeah it's on bbc. It was just 4 episodes and there is one left. Quite good.
I'm also watching person of interest on channel 5. That is also very very good! Anyone seen it?

Haylebop12 · 31/08/2012 09:29

littlemiss unfortunate coincidence! :-(
I'm going for another girl anyway, got plenty ban
Name ideas for a girl!!

wilderumpus · 31/08/2012 14:10

hope you feeling ok little, how many dpo are you? is more reliable thinking that way than your cycle length... ain't over till AF x

accused is a crime drama, different stories each week written by jimmy mcgovern. Don't normally go for crime stuff but like his work.

I have a sore throat! My cold went after two days then this popped up; think I am a bit run down from being stressy about uni.

Am back off sick leave today from my mc! It is my first proper day back as a FT student and I am doing it in true student style by having the day off! hehe. The mc is well and truly behind me now.

HOWEVER went to the park to meet a friend, her toddler son and her newborn and while hugging newborn was lush (am not funny about babies after the mc, just nov due bumps!) the mothers meet that organically occured arund us was horrible as they were all mums with their toddlers and newborns :( It made me feel so invisible without my newborn to compare, or a bump, and I really felt left out of the conversation and, just everything! They didn't mean to be cliquey but it was awful and made me feel blue. They just hang around... with all their children... and I want to hang around with all my children too! I wan tto moan about how tired they make me! arf.

hope you ok one

where is boo?

LittleMissSnowShine · 31/08/2012 16:49

lol - hmm might check out iplayer! Im a bit of a download fiend, i've been watching new seadon.of true blood, v good :)

wilde - i feel.just like you! I dont.mind babies or even.pregnant.ladies at all but keep meeting people at play park & im.sure more when.i go.back to.mum & toddler next week with toddler plus new born. Met a dad in.the park last week with a new born and his 2 yr 7 month.son. 2 years 7 months was the gap i WOULD have had :( i only really took about a week.sick.leave, and with house move and everything else thats gone on.this month i dont really think it was enough, i feel.absolutely wrecked! Better do euro millions, i'd love a holiday!!

Dont know how many dpo i am, cant use opks cos of pcos and too.lazy to temp lol thought i saw some ewcm around cd18 which would make me roughly 12 dpo but when i got pg at the end of may ov was vey obvious, few days of ewcm and then a day or 2 of slippery, watery stuff (tmi!) , this month it was just a bit on.one day. So basically its hard to say...feeling wrecked but i think that might be just cos its been a hell of a month...

On AF-watch now, at least the witch's arrival will.give me a clean.slate post-mc, start of first natural cycle etc

LittleMissSnowShine · 01/09/2012 09:28

Cd33 or 34 (depending whether u start.counting day i had erpc or day after). No sign of AF. Where are you, you stupid witch??? Happy saturday everyone!!

ChuckleMonster · 01/09/2012 12:13

Boo to pregnant women and women flaunting their newborn babies. I hope you have recovered wilde.

littlemiss - I think my first cycle after mmc (medical management rather than ERPC) was 6 weeks long. I hope your AF shows up soon for you so you can start putting it behind you.

Quiet day at chez chuckle today. The washing machine is broken and the floor in the conservatory needs regrouting so between them they will occupy me and DH most of the day. When did life get so rock 'n' roll??!

On a more exciting note I have bought some hair dye so when I go back to work on Wednesday my grey hairs will be hidden :)

Have a good weekend all!

wilderumpus · 01/09/2012 13:48

chuckle i like pg women and newborn babies! I just feel left out of the clique. Eek, am not a monster really!

how are you feeling at the mo chuck?!

sorry your cycle so long little. long cycles are a bugger :(

7dpo here. still run down but no symptoms to speak of yet. Did a pg test just in case I did ov on the first positive opk, as that would make me due AF topday but was neg, and no AF so guess I did ov the second time (which I knew really).

PMT would normally start as of tomorrow so watch out for the hormonal wrath!

LittleMissSnowShine · 01/09/2012 14:34

Little tiny.bit of spotting here - not sure if its the start of AF cos i've never had pre-AF spotting before. I keep thinking...ooh, ov spotting? (also have never had this) or maybe implantation bleeding (i did have this but it was like a tiny bit of blood in some cm so not really spotting)

Yep think its more likely im.just having a crzy wtf post-mc long cycle

In 'rock and roll' news my mum took ds out for a couple of hours so did grocery shopping, couple of loads of washing, slapped on.a bit of end of the summer fake tan and had a quicky with ds. Ah the joys of suburbia!! About to hit library and park with ds who seems to have decided as of this week that his afternoon.nap is now optional. Wrecked.com ;)

wilderumpus · 01/09/2012 14:52

I hope you didn't have a quicky with DS little Grin

I am working today, hence on MN every ten mins! (i only make myself work ten mins at a time when am writing to stop myself from freaking out about how much I have to do! you can only eat an elephant one bite at a time :))

just to be a doommongerer (!) I only ever had spotting after my mc. is a weird one but gets less every month. It could be implantation though! woot!

Sheldonella · 01/09/2012 16:58

Hi ladies, just checking in. Sorry to see you have had some visits from the horrid AF. May she stay away from now on.

I have had my scan now and all is well thankfully. It was very emotional.

wilde Been reading what you say about your ov tests. I thought I new exactly when I ov'd but my scan puts me 6 days ahead of what I thought. Hows the work going?

wilderumpus · 01/09/2012 18:42

hello and yay for your scan sheldon! :) :) congrats dearie. How far along are you now?

And you are a week ahead?! So when did you get your BFP - doesn't that make it at about 20dpo?! bonkers. Don't put thoughts in my head or I'll end up testing every day for the next week just in case! I feel the same as I normally do at 7dpo tbh so all fine-y-doody.

OP posts:
Sheldonella · 01/09/2012 18:48

Bonkers yes! I'm 13 weeks today, thought I was about 12+1 ish based on ov sticks. I thought my BFP was 11 dpo. Maybe it was something to do with early implantation or something, I don't even know if that is possible. Still, I don't mind being a week further ahead!

wilderumpus · 01/09/2012 19:34

no way - so you actually ov'ed a week before your pos opk?! woah that's scary! am pretty sure 6dpo is the earliest you can successfuly implant as the womb lining has to thicken up after you ov.

So when were you getting BFNs until?! being a week further ahead would be lovely - with DS I was put a week behind at my first scan, and another week behind again at my next one!

sorry for all the questions, am fascinated and if opks are giving positives for surges AFTER actual ov that is something good to know! :)

OP posts:
LittleMissSnowShine · 02/09/2012 08:04

Lol wilde - yeah quicky with dh rather than ds. Doh! You're prob right, im sure spotting is just mc related but at least no af as yet... Hope your work went well y'day

sheldon - wow, that really does go to show how tricky it is to pinpoint ov. Congrats on the scan, hope all is going well :)

Im just hanging out in limbo land at the min really, waiting for this first post-mc cycle to be over so we can start ttc again in earnest. Its nice to have a break this month tho, lots of sneaky wine & goats cheese lol hopefully wont be allowed any.more of the above soon enough!

onemoreforgoodmeasure · 02/09/2012 11:57

(munches on mood regulating vitamins while reading up)

Fantastic Sheldonella, 13 weeks!!! Smile

Still in limboland Little?

8 dpo Wild fx for you!

LittleMissSnowShine · 02/09/2012 13:44

one - mood regulating vitamins? what are they? they sound good - throw some of them over to me and i'll give em a go! yep, limbo land! no sign of AF but just made some lunch for myself and found myself making a cheese, ham, mayo, pineapple and cheese&onion crisp roll lol could be strange pms junk/grease/salt craving tho!

what's going on with you one? any news??

wilderumpus · 02/09/2012 18:20

WTF little. that 'sandwich' is not normal Grin

hallo one! mood regulating vits? feck me I could do with some. since the mc each LP is a rollercoaster of moodiness. Are they B vits? I like me B vits :)

I am working again. UG am back to writing a new chapter so trying to get in the habit of writing again. Is hard after editing! took fireman sam crazy DS to a fire station open day earlier and if he knew what 'OMG' meant he would have said it a LOT.

yes 8dpo one... been a bit weird today. Dizzy and ting. Am dreading, dreading this week. I could test from Weds... but I can't face that BFN. Atm am really liking not really completely knowing when I ov'ed so each day I don't have AF I think 'woo!' and it is a small victory - even though I am almost certainly only 8 dpo so is no victory at all! I quite like being like this tho and think I will NEVER poas even if I do miss AF Grin I hate these last few days of the LP, they are excrutiating (sp?!) aren't they?!

I wonder if I will test on weds? I will be home alone working all day. eek.

OP posts:
Lolcbcblemonlime · 02/09/2012 18:36

Oh wilde I feel your pain! I'm also terrified of bfn! When exactly are you due? Do u know? Maybe try to wait till Friday!?

wilderumpus · 02/09/2012 18:45

Thanks for your hand-holding lol!

I used to prefer BFN to not knowing and would test from 9dpo! Grin But now I quite like the ignorance (and hope) of not knowing! I love being 8dpo and hoping. Is a nice safe place to be when ttc cause it is when you can start to symptom spot but too early to test and have your hopes shattered.

I am due on Friday! I only have a 12 day LP, normally get BFPs on 10 dpo but super squinty faint. Would like to wait until Fri for sure. Thinking about testing makes me feel jittery like before an exam. but then again I must think about all the peroni I can be drinking in two weeks with a BFN. ... It doesn't matter if it isn't this month. It doesn't matter...

OP posts:
onemoreforgoodmeasure · 02/09/2012 19:19

Yes, B vits, evening primrose, etc.

Wild re test anxiety... you know, I was just thinking Peroni could be quite a nice name for a girl! (It's all I could come up with so here's a Torch instead for strength and acts of emotional bravery)

My god, that sandwich! Little, must surely be a sign!

Where are you at with everything Lol?

Now, I have a lovely steak and some of that nice bottle of wine left (OH is veggie and teetotal Shock!), hope you're all having lovely dinners too, g'night!

wilderumpus · 02/09/2012 19:27

night one! we had a roast, nom. have fun with your Wine and yummy steak!

OP posts:
Lolcbcblemonlime · 02/09/2012 19:36

Well I just had some lovely roast chicken legs in nandos piri piri sauce. Quite yummy. Glass of wine with it Smile
One I'm on cd12 today. Usually 31-32 day cycle. My second after mc. Feeling positive at upcoming shag fest!
Will not manage a 3x dayer though.

wilderumpus · 02/09/2012 19:48

3x dayer?! eck! one shag a day is shit loads plenty in the wilde house :)

can't drink wine with meals! It makes me too sleepy and wanting more!

booboomonster · 02/09/2012 20:18

Hello everyone, I'm back from hols, seems like I've been away aaaagggeesss. I had a lovely relaxing time, so am feeling chilled about life generally and specifically ttc. As a consequence, have stopped temping & charting, and have sent all the clearblue stuff back as I'm not going to do it. My new philosophy regarding babymaking is: what's the rush?

So that's me, I have had a quick read through of bits of the thread, glad to hear that everyone is doing well unless I've missed anything. I will read through properly now.

I think my new regime will mean that I am a little less active on here, sadly - so that I don't obsess. I will be reading though! Good luck to everyone on the 2ww or about to start shag week!
