cheese - congrats! I think! I hope! A line is a line
Like you I would be on the nervous side, with DS horrific HG kicked in at 6 weeks and didn't budge til about 8 weeks later. With last pg I had bad nausea but it wasn't really in the same league that I was with DS and it didn't kick in until 7.5 weeks, and it lessened in the afternoons so I was always a bit uncertain about the whole thing. But I think in a way that's the tough thing about being pg with no. 2 or 3 etc - you have something to compare it to, so if things aren't exactly the same we automatically panic, whereas if it was your first pg you would just be thinking oh isn't this great, i'm not sick or anything. Every pg can be different, so fx fx fx for you that you're going to see a darker line and have a sticky one in there
wilde - I like saunas, jacuzzis, wine and odd cheeses when I'm on holiday so not a great idea for me to go anywhere when I'm pg lol! We went away to Lanzarote in Feb and we agreed we'd start trying in March so I would have just had a holiday because I just wouldn't fancy holidaying abroad while pg, but that might be at least partly because I've had really bad pg nausea in early stages so I feel the need to be in fairly close proximity my own bed just in case it strikes! Most people love a break before they have a big bump and puffy feet, tho, so if you're really in the mood for a bit of sun I say go!
chuckle - lol @ 'a very long time'! hee! i just started back on folic acid a couple of days ago, it's a pain remembering to take it... house situation is, as yet, inconclusive but got a roofer looking at the chimney for us this evening. We did have a chat with tenants though and told them that we'd half their first month's rent because of all the different problems they've had in the house and told them that if they weren't happy to stay there then we'd understand, we'd return their damage deposit and wouldn't hold them to the lease. But if they did decide to stay we would fix any house issues on the understanding that they accept it is an older house, it doesn't have all the conveniences of a new build and we are not full-time, professional landlords, so while we will get things fixed asap as and when necessary they basically need to stop tormenting us with things that are not emergencies. Water pouring through the ceiling, a gas leak, stuff like that needs fixed right away but a slight and small damp patch on one wall or a window that won't open are not emergencies and they need to chill out a bit. Tenants told us they love us, def don't want to move out, they appreciate all we're doing for them and I think, hopefully, things will hopefully be ok(ish) for the foreseeable future.
Long post today! It's a bit drizzly outside, DS v fed up, esp cos i'm at home with him trying to get all my housework done cos i'm away at a wedding tomorrow and getting my hair dye in, fake tan on etc hee!
hope you're all well :)
