Hello ladies!

So we have had our mc's... and are moving on and thinking about making new babies :) Hurray, hurray!

I could go to my gp, but I won't just yet. When I go it will be to ask about the possibility of referrals to a fertility clinic! Maybe I should have kept checking for ovulation??? I'll test tonight and see what it looks like. And well done with all your ttc! Mmm, wine o'clock with (ahem, sorry) Xfactor! Have a nice evening Wild and all you others out there clearly getting on with Saturdays away from the computer!

Haylebop12 · 19/08/2012 12:13

I hope it doesn't come to that one
I haven't googled mid cycle spotting but I too have had it, maybe I'll have a google to see what I can find. Although only had it once, that I noticed when I wiped after going to the loo.
I hate this waiting game!!

Haylebop12 · 19/08/2012 12:16

Spotting after a period - Often times the uterus is weak and does not contract strongly enough. This will leave blood on the endometrial lining that will slowly shed even after it seemed menstruation was over.

I'm going for this one.....

wilderumpus · 19/08/2012 12:24

hayle I like that one.

one how did poas go? where are you ikn your cycle, have you ov'ed now?

we can all sleep easy tonight ladies, for I am fina-fucking-ly ovulating. Hurrah! v neg opk this morning after near pos every morn since tues and the actual pos yesterday morning! Poor DH managed a stirling dtd sesh last night despite having fallen asleep at 8pm and asked for more tonight, hurrah. Am thinking it is too late for tonight but one for luck eh?

gutted we didn't dtd on friday; EOD seems great but really it means only last night's sesh really counts and that just isn't good enough. thursday too long ago for any viable spermies methinks. so feel a bit down that only one sex might make a baby this month, even to we did was was expected of us re: sperm meets egg.

I am concerned about doing exercising and the 2ww. Have somehow managed to half convince myself I lost last month's eggy because of prancing around shredding like a loon. I dunno, I don't like exercise unless it's super hardcore so guess maybe I shall stop from tomorrow. but I really like my new toned butt and abs! and I am on hols next month!

oh the trials. back to my chapter...

Haylebop12 · 19/08/2012 12:41

Well done to your DH!
I'm behaving like some china doll making sure I do NOTHING that will mess up me getting my BFP!!

wilderumpus · 19/08/2012 13:47

hehe, thanks hayle. yeah, I think I will do the more core type elements of my exercising, so no bouncing around, and stop altogether at 6dpo (possible implantation time). Then I would only miss a week as would start up again on cd1...

can definitely overthink these things, I mean, when i got pg with DS (surprise pg) I had been face down in a bucket of gin for two days just prior to my BFP and doing bootcamp style exercise three times a week. ahem.

Haylebop12 · 19/08/2012 13:57

I went out and got well and truly bladdered and then realised I was 5 weeks pg!! What a surprise and have a very healthy 3.6 dd!! I worked as a waitress 50 hours a week until I was 34 weeks. Running around like a headless chicken, carry boxes, stretching up etc. thinking back to a time when I was blissfully unaware that mc's can happen to anyone, not anyways other ppl.
Crazy!!

ChuckleMonster · 19/08/2012 14:27

wilde last time I got pg I ov on Sunday and only dtd on the Thursday as I was away from fri-Mon, so Thurs and a well timed Saturday sound good to me. It only takes one little swimmer. (no harm in a bonus shag tonight though!!)

I hope all this mid-cycle spotting clears soon. So hard to know whether to worry about things. My cycle still wasn't completely back to normal since my first mc at start of Jan so it could maybe be things still settling.

am back to feeling like shite which is horrid but reassuring. Just catching up on last nights x factor as was asleep when it was on. So far have been in tears twice...oh the shame!!

Have a lovely Sunday afternoon ladies :)

cheeseandmushroomtoastie · 20/08/2012 08:57

Cd28 here, don't want to say anything else in case I tempt fate BlushConfusedBlushConfusedBlushConfused

ChuckleMonster · 20/08/2012 08:59

Fingers crossed cheese!!

LittleMissSnowShine · 20/08/2012 10:26

Great wee trip away - lots of sunshine, Gruffalo-hunting in a forest park and lots of lovely unhealthy food and wine for a couple of days lol

Back to zumba tonight!

wilde / one - is this the same Guru who used to be called kickingupquestions? Not that i am one to gossip. At all. Definitely not.

cheese - oh good luck!!!!

I can't say we have been excellent at dtd eod this cycle, bleeding after erpc was pretty heavy and lasted for 2 weeks so I was a bit hesitant about jumping back into the sack / into the saddle (hee) again. I've been counting the day after ERPC as first day of this cycle so based on that we've dtd on CD11, CD16 and CD19. We'll keep at it over the next week or so too, though pre-mc I seemd to OV around CD19 so if this month has been the same then it might have already been and gone cos I'm CD20 today. Hard to tell cos can't use OPKs cos of pcos, i'm too lazy disorganised to track temp every day and with the bleeding etc. it's not easy to see what CM is doing this month. So I'm not going to get my hopes up particularly, I've had some really long cycles in the past so even if I get to CD28 with no sign of AF I'm not going to POAS until AF is at least 2 weeks late. Sigh. Rant over.

Hope everyone else is well Grin

LittleMissSnowShine · 20/08/2012 10:32

PS) wilde - DS was a surprise pregnancy for me and I was also face down in buckets of wine, coffee and unpasteurised cheese when I was 5 weeks pg because I was in Rome for the weekend. He's 23 months and a very very healthy young man, so I wouldn't worry too much tho I'm completely stressing now I've had a mc too

cheeseandmushroomtoastie · 20/08/2012 11:09

Can I get a woop woop for not yet poas?!

Haylebop12 · 20/08/2012 11:10

Woop whoop!!!

onemoreforgoodmeasure · 20/08/2012 13:58

Brief update, I only spotted that one day, I'd had a bit of ovary pain that day and I've heard that you can spot when a cyst bursts, and the ovary pain went away after as well so I'm going wiht this as a theory for the spotting! Apologies for my minor freak out.

Wild Yeah your ovulation!!! I've heard that excercise is ok if you're used to doing it and not if you're not... and as you've pointed out, rules kind of go out the window and pg's can come along at the weirdest times healthwise! Your plan sounds good.

Chuckle I hadn't considered the spotting could be mc related. How long did it take you to get back to normal?

Ohh! "Cheese"! Any feelings either way????? (whoop whoop!!!)

I'm cd 19, 5 dpo... and super, super proud that I had to look that up!!!

Welcome back Littlemiss, I think that's her. But I think Wild said she can't have been banned as she saw her on another post... and then I felt really bad for being a gossip. If she visited this thread I would feel awful. (places self on naughty step and threatens to remove the wine). Your cycle and the pcos sound like a difficult combination. I also can't be bothered to temp. Look after yourself with the whole saddle thing! Grin

LittleMissSnowShine · 20/08/2012 15:17

cheese - woop woop!

one - lol sure it's only a bit of goss! I was on a couple of ttc threads with Guru, she's an opinionated one for sure but I always thought she was good fun, was just curious as to why she might have been banned. I don't think you need to sit on the naughty step Wink Yes, v proud of you for having to look up your CD. One behind me!

chuckle - sorry to hear you're feeling down in the dumps :( Hope things seem brighter again soon

ChuckleMonster · 20/08/2012 16:38

Well done for amazing will power cheese!!

I think that guru woman would be overjoyed that she was being gossiped about - all publicity is good publicity!!!

one I had my mmc at the very end of March and my cycles were still not fully back to normal when I got pg in July. I had spotting at start and end of every cycle and bad cramps which I had never had before and I had less days of EWCM. Maybe that is 'normal' for me now but its certainly different to pre-mc.

Today is my birthday and I have been spoilt rotten including lunch out with the family and DH persuading the lovely pub we went to that they should cook me something not on the menu as I really fancied it Blush Feel like a right diva!! Am still feeling grotty but am still embracing the sickness. I am more than happy to remain feeling poo all the way up to a healthy 12 week scan (we are thinking positive this week after the all the panic last week).

Enjoy the sunshine today all, I think there is a magnum in the freezer calling my name so if you'll excuse me....

Haylebop12 · 20/08/2012 16:51

Happy birthday chuckle! It's mine 2 data after I'm
Allowed to poas!
Glad your having a good day :-)

onemoreforgoodmeasure · 20/08/2012 18:33

Happy birthday Chuckle!!! Glad you got spoiled and are still really sick!!!!

And I've spent some time on MN this afternoon and saw that there's also someone called SecondComing who's been banned! Which means I'm now gossiping about people I haven't even come across in a thread!!!

I've just spotted a little Angry this afternoon but have decided that this clearly is implantation bleeding Grin, that my dates are 1 day out and today is dpo 6, not 5. (I will go to gp next week if it's not sorted out by then and until then will live in a world of my own making).

cheeseandmushroomtoastie · 20/08/2012 18:34

Happy birthday chuckle!!

LittleMissSnowShine · 20/08/2012 21:00

Happy birthday chuckle!

one - adding to your positive implantation spotting vibes. When i got pg in June i had a very tiny trace of blood in my cm at about 10 dpo and i guess that was implantation bleeding because i got my bfp 2 days later so fx thats what is happening!

LittleMissSnowShine · 20/08/2012 21:06

Also can i say after a 2 month break...zumba hurts!!!

Sheldonella · 21/08/2012 09:23

Morning ladies :) and happy birthday chuckle. Nothing new to report here, just impatiently waiting for my 12 weeks scan. Only 9 days to go!
Ooh, I hope it is implantation bleeding one. I had it with this pregnancy quite early on.
Yay for ov wilde. Also cheese fx for you. Have you tested yet?
Sorry to be brief, I'm at work and have been too tired in the evenings. I'm hoping I will get a second trimester surge of energy in a couple of weeks.
Have a nice day everyone!

wilderumpus · 21/08/2012 11:34

Hope you had a lovely b'day yesterday chuckle!

I am really down today! Ttc is getting to me this month, it is taking so long :( I have ewcm today so think maybe I haven't ov'ed at all yet and will today/tomorrow. This makes me blue because we didn't dtd last night so would only have the swimmers from Sat and Sun and they might be long gone by now. All that effort. Really cross with my body. Am on CD 25.

And my stupid stupid stupid thick friend who is due around when I would have been and has made no effort to hide that it was an unexpected and not all that welcome pg has put another twatty comment on FB and made me so cross and that horrible post-mc sort of grumpy sad envy feeling. She isn't even very nice to the one child she does have either. USE CONTRACEPTION twathead.

Am going to have a weep and then get back to finishing my chapter. feck. sorry for selfish rant.

good luck cheese!

ChuckleMonster · 21/08/2012 12:26

Oh wilde, I'm sorry its getting to you today. Please try not to get upset, if you OV today Sundays swimmers will defo be around, and probably some of saturdays too.

I hate fb and stupid people who dont get how lucky they are (and why have more children if you dont like the ones you have, I have a friend like that, she has just had number 6 Shock and she hates her eldest. She just loves babies and cant bear children Sad)

Hope you are feeling better after getting it off you chest wilde, and hope you are having a productive day work wise. I am staring at the 50 sets of coursework I need to mark as I sip my peppermint tea and watch CSI....
