nicola I got my +opk yesterday and I'm still poas today, not sure when or if I should stop

Have been having stomach pains this evening which I hope are ov cramps. Got to wait til at least 12th before testing I'm keeping everything crossed for my bfp this month

newbie remember 8dpo would be very early for a BFP. I don't know of anyone who's had one before 9 personally. But fx it works out. I'm supposed to be holding out for a whole week more!!!! However with all the symptom spotting I reckon I may well crack on wednesdayish, and go and procure one of those frer tests.

Christelle yeah I got a bit confused when I was counting the other day. Thought Monday meant I had 6 days to go but its actually Tuesday. Wednesday is the first day I can test with CB digital. I'll be using my cheapie Internet sticks tomorrow and Tuesday and then cracking out CB on Wednesday which is good because that is the only morning my DH will be around and I'd like him to be present if it is good news.

A good plan. My hubs is away next weekend so I reckon I will end up testing Friday at the latest for same reason.

Are you crampy?? I am plus the backache. Also had strange taste in mouth this evening but reckon it was too much garlic in my tea.

Our bodies are shit sometimes. I feel really sick today, in waves, not constant, but haven't OV'd yet, so no idea why! Clearly NOT pg though.

On a happier note we drove to new house last night as I was feeling better yesterday and had clearer head. We had a little walk about and I'm happy that we've brought it...phew that could have gone so wrong! Just got to wait for survey and then it's ours. Moving date is August eek!

Maybe, Newbie...got a sore tummy now, so clearly related to that! And it probably is to do with work, as I'm trying to work out how to complain about the lazy / nasty bitch, bearing in mind my manager won't appreciate / do anything about it :-(

nicola hope you managed to sort out how to complain about your manager, it's never an easy thing to do. I've got to report another member of staff today for skiving off, which I hate doing.

Ps newbie glad your feeling more positive about your house now. August is a quick moving in date!

I'm toying between talking to another manager for advice, or going to the Training Principal, who will be my manager as of next January, and fought tooth and nail to keep me at the firm when I resigned a few months ago. We shall see!

Agree bodies are horrible, evil things when it comes to things like this though. Stupid feelings and pains that were never there before starting TTC!

Finding the Zita West book quite interesting actually, if anyone spots it around it might be worth a read. Dispelled some myths for me already (ie. higher frequency of sex doesn't make poorer quality swimmers!)

Think this is OV week. Timing is of the essence!

Dulcet sounds like a good buy! I read that if you don't DTD regularly the sperm can become sluggish and poor quality for when you actually need it. It's all this reading that has put me in a frenzy though :)

Christelle I've had terrible cramps from DPO 3-6. At the weekend I had bad heartburn, dry mouth, achey boobs, more CM then usual and bleeding gums. I burped loudly in the hairdressers...so unlike me and so embarrassing! Today I still have a dry mouth and I have very dull cramps...more like AF cramps which i can cope with! Still have a bit of heartburn but not as bad as yesterday!

Does anyone know if you can take paracetamol on the 2ww? Would really like to take something if my cramps get worse again.

Oh it just happened again. I keep thinking I've weed myself or AF is coming but it's just a surge of cm...sorry I know that is way TMI!! Are you not meant to dry up before AF? Or is that after AF? Hmm

The book says secretions die down just before and just after AF (about 2 days each side). The surge is meant to be OV, especially if it is sticky and like egg whites. That's my understanding.

Doesn't seem to fit with your timings though...
