So here is another thread. Good luck everyone! baby dust everywhere!

OP posts:
Maclairey · 02/07/2012 11:51

Hi all, just checking in, nothing very exciting happening with me. Currently 9dpo and no symptoms whatsoever. I had very sore nips at ovulation and for a few days after but that has gone now. Not feeling positive about this month to be honest. Will test on Friday morning (if no AF) as I am flying to Cyprus Friday afternoon for 4 nights for a wedding. Will be 13dpo then.

Just wanted to say hi to all those that have joined the thread recently. Hope you have lots of luck and get your BFPs quickly.

Newbie sounds like you are really going through the mill at the moment! I hope you starting feeling better soon, or get your BFP!

Glad you are feeling more positive about your house purchase though. I went through the same thing last year, its really difficult isnt it.

Nicola its horrible when there is someone at work you just want to punch in the face. There are people in my office that I really really dislike and I just try and not have anything to do them, although this can be difficult sometimes. Do you have an HR department you could raise your concerns with?

Echo welcome to the obsessed with POAS party! Fingers crossed you detect your surge soon.

Pop I hope things are well with you. Have you had your first doctors appointment yet?

So if AF turns up this month, I shall be taking EPO, Starflower Oil and Vitex up to ovulation. I will be poacbov every day to detect said ov. I will also be taking Pregnacare Conception as I have been since the beginning.

CD72 today, lets hope the next one is A LOT shorter!

Newbie2 · 02/07/2012 11:53

Dulcet yeah that's what I thought. If I OV 8 days ago and not due AF for another 7 days it is all messed up!

Pop if you're out there did you experience this high level of cm on DPO 7-8?

NicolaHazel · 02/07/2012 12:09

Hi Maclairey, I think you deserve a BFP after your wait!

And yes, we have a HR dept, but you're meant to go through your manager. Which I can't do as she won't appreciate me saying anything / do anything.

I've also been told that HR don't keep things confidential, which then means I may as well go to my useless manager.

But, also not fair that I can't tell anyone.

Newbie2 · 02/07/2012 12:31

Mclairey thanks. Like Nicola said you really deserve a BFP after the long wait! Lots of people don't get symptoms for ages so maybe you're one of those fortunate ones?! I guess my cycle would have also been that long if I hadn't known id ovulated in between. The waiting game is horrible though. Looking forward to the end!

Nicola goodness that sounds messy! There is so much bullying and weirdness at my job too. Nobody to report to and no HR but I know that normally HR is a waste of energy anyway! I hope doors open for you soon. Are you going on honeymoon after wedding?

Christelle2207 · 02/07/2012 12:39

feel vv crampy today, literally as af is upon me, except im only 7dpo. also nasty taste in mouth (not necessarily metallic, just odd). do i have reason to be hopeful or am i just going nuts?

Newbie2 · 02/07/2012 13:06

Christelle I think there is hope but I don't want to get your hopes up! Everything I read says a lot of people experience cramps that are similar to AF and then they get a BFP. Remind me what cycle you're on?

Newbie2 · 02/07/2012 13:07

Forgot to say that cramps before BFP can be an indication to implantation! We can only keep our fx!

NicolaHazel · 02/07/2012 13:16

Newbie, it is messy. I feel very frustrated!

And yes, we are off to Iceland to hopefully see the Northern Lights :-)

Newbie2 · 02/07/2012 13:25

Nicola wow that sounds amazing! What a great adventure to look forward to and your first adventure as Mr&Mrs!

NicolaHazel · 02/07/2012 13:31

I know!

What with all our family issues it is almost the only part I'm looking forwards to! :-/

Christelle2207 · 02/07/2012 13:32

iceland sounds ace!!

this is cycle#8 for me. at least i have fertility clinic appt at end of july if this comes to nothing!

Newbie2 · 02/07/2012 14:16

Christelle so is this the first time you've experienced cramping in the two week wait?

Popinda · 02/07/2012 14:26

hello lovely ladies, I'm still lurking! Waiting for BFPs! Grin
maclairey I'm going to have my first app next Wednesday! Can't wait! Also, my boobs too were only painful during ov and nothing after! And still nothing! Very unusual for me as my boons are very sensitive and very sore right from ov till af arrives.
When I think back I had some early symptoms, but they were much milder and didn't make sense before I got my bfp! Like, no sore boobs, funny taste for couple of days, lots of ewcm - newbie yes I had extreme (for me, usually very dry, sorry if tmi) cm since probably what would be an implantation and still have! Had a bit of cramps, but not bad, bit of back ache, but because it was so mild I didn't pay any attention to it and actually thought that Im not pg! And I was! Hope this is a bit useful! Smile
nicola I had a similar prob at work about two weeks ago, with my college and I just told her what I think! I told her she is not good at her job and so on! How cruel is that?! But it helped! She is doing her job much better now! Smile
Come on ladies I want to see the bfp to roll in sa as newbie said we can have are own thread of BFPs as I miss you! Smile

Christelle2207 · 02/07/2012 14:27

other than when i think i had cp, i think so.

Newbie2 · 02/07/2012 14:33

Christelle oh well that sounds promising!
Pop yay you're still here! Don't leave me! I remember you saying that you were dry because I'm the same. I have that really odd fussy mouth like ive not drunk water for days (but obviously I have had lots of water).

I am contemplating applying for a new job today. Can you imagine, married, new house, pregnant and new job all within 6 months...hah I may be pushing my luck! :)

Popinda · 02/07/2012 14:38

Wow newbie you def keeping yourself busy! Grin
Forgot to say, that I'm still keeping my poas addiction alive! I keep poasing every day just to make sure! Grin line is getting nice and strong now! Grin I'm running low on test! May have to buy more! I'm considering to but clear blue digital just to see how I progressed! Grin

Newbie2 · 02/07/2012 15:32

Pop you have to stop at some point :) save the money for those cute baby outfits and your new nursery! At what date did you get your BFP? Was it 9 or 10DPO?

DulcetMoans · 02/07/2012 16:10

Pop is back! I can't wait for our own pregnancy thread, that will be ace. Wonder what we can collectively worry about then!

Iceland is a great honeymoon nicola, something different. I like!

Would applying for a new job put TTC plans on hold though newbie? Just in terms of maternity pay etc. If you get your BFP this month wouldn't you have to stay put?

So are we in primarily two sets of timescales at the moment then? Seems newbie, puppy and christelle are similar and me, nicola and echo are similar times. Have I got that right?

Newbie2 · 02/07/2012 16:37

Dulcet Mclairey is also in the 2ww but I think you've got the others right :) Yeah I understand your concern about my job situation but I think I'm loosing my job anyway so I can't see myself getting maternity pay :( We decided that I didn't want to put TTC on hold so I've always said I would look for something part time if I fell pregnant and lost my job at the same time. If I got a new job and found out I was pregnant I wouldn't have to tell the new job for 3 months anyway. Gee why does everything have to be so complicating :) Anyway, from my experience job applications and interviews take time. I would always have a chance to change my mind :)

DulcetMoans · 02/07/2012 16:41

Absolutely newbie, and if you got to interview and got a job you'd still have time to say no for whatever reason. I run interviews in my job and we've had successful candidates turn down jobs for various reasons (better offer, childcare). You won't know if you don't try!

And Mclairey! We will have two peaks of BFPs then hopefully!

Newbie2 · 02/07/2012 17:02

I'm learning now that in this day of age you've got to keep every door open! It is a office/marketing job in a school. Normally I would not be interested as I'm probably over qualified but it's a job that I've always thought I could do when I have children. It would be interesting just to see what a job like this would be like for the future if nothing else. I'm not sure I could handle the stress of a new job right now unless the environment was really nice and friendly...but that's hard to come by!

NicolaHazel · 02/07/2012 17:37

Hi everyone...back after shitty day at work. Only bonus is that I ran and got the earlier train, so will get home 15 minutes earlier. :-)

I'm glad you approve, Dulcet. We are really excited!

And we are quite evenly split, aren't we, for testing? I just hope my Conceive Plus has appeared! Want to give it a go tonight. I've already told him I want 'doing'...oh, the romance!

NicolaHazel · 02/07/2012 18:24

OK...significant increase in CM? Check. Conceive Plus arrived? Check.

Only non-checked box is positive OPK, but it may be a day or so early, and I'm building up to it!

I'm DTD tonight, ladies!! :-)

Popinda · 02/07/2012 18:35

nicola you making us all jealous! Grin good luck! Hopefully it's the one! Grin are you taking epo?

OP posts:
NicolaHazel · 02/07/2012 18:38

No, no EPO this month. My secret weapon is Conceive Plus this month. Next month, if I fail, the EPO gets a look in! :-)
