Can I join? This is my first month ttc, and I've been tracking my cycles since January to help me figure out when I ov. Normally I'm a 28/29 day cycle but the last two have been 35/34 dayers! So I'm confused but have just been tracking ewcm. This cycle is annoying because I'm away from dp for two nights which are day 14 and 15 of my cycle, so I made sure we dtd on day 9,11 and 13 in case and there was ewcm present so I'm wondering if my cycle this month will return to normal? Either way we'll dtd when I'm back tmrw. I'm trying to stay relaxed about it this month and may gfet ov sticks if I don't get lucky. Good luck evreyone.

Yeah planning to test on the 20th unless period arrives before then. Difficult to know after these last two periods.

I only have one post-pill cycle behnd me, mumbai, which was 29 days. I'm assuming this one will be too, so am testing on day 30! Assuming my PIATH (pissing in a tealight holder) addiction takes hold prior to that!

Dulcet On average, ovulation occurs 14 days before the start your period. However, it is normal for a woman to ovulate anywhere from 12 to 18 days before menstruation.

Which is why I'm attempting the EOD approach this cycle. I think.

Managed Sunday, Tuesday and last night. May go for Sat and Sun then Tuesday though. That takes me to CD14, so should probably do Thursday and Saturday too. Honestly, H2B is in seventh heaven now he's clicked about me not turning DTD down :-)

What is everyone else planning for their DTD 'routine' this cycle? If you're not on the 2WW already?!

If I don't make the baby train this cycle I plan to DTD EOT from 16th July and then every day on the weekend (assuming I ovulate at the same time next cycle).

I'm going with the EOD approach too starting today. I have warned DP! He thinks he's up to the task. It's the best way to be sure I think. I'm on CD7 so maybe starting a little early? But still, got to go for it!

Welcome to Mumbaisapphire. Nicolahazel - you definitely won't be alone. My thrush is so severe now that I can hardly sit or walk (sorry if TMI), so DTD is out of the question at the moment, just when I'm (probably) coming up to OV.

I live abroad where it's impossible to get thrush medications without getting an appointment with a gyn and going through lots of invasive tests, but I'm back in the UK at the weekend and my mum has Canesten waiting for me.

I'm already panicking that this will happen to me every month and I'll never be able to DTD again (ok, slightly dramatic, but still), which is obviously a major obstacle in trying to get pg :(

Otherwise, if things clear up, I might be able to catch an egg on Monday/Tuesday......fingers crossed.

And I started on CD5 with the EOD, Dulcet, just go for it. Though we have regular sex anyway, so we are only upping our game a little!

Our goal is EOD once AF stops and then ED for 4-5 days before OV. I might be give DH a break after I've confirmed OV but not too much of a break as it's good to keep the pipes well oiled ;)

On the note of 'pipes well oiled' - DP made a joke this morning about not using todays ... 'batch' because it's been a week and it will be old. That's not true is it?? I know he was joking but I don't want the rubbish ones! haha.

I'm planning on starting my ov sticks tomorrow which will be CD6. Won't see DH until Sunday cause of work. So will start DTD on day 7 then hopefully every 2 days so 9,11,13,15 then POAS every day around ov. Not really sure when that will be. My missed period post implant didn't help. That's all down to work allowing obviously.

Newbie2, thanks, yet, I did the natural yogurt thing and it really eased the symptoms but the swelling isn't going down (that's the worst thing). I think I left it too late. I am praying that the Canesten works fast.

Echo, we will be DTD on the same days, I think, if I do Sat and Sun then Tuesday.
