OP posts:
EchoDragon · 30/06/2012 12:58

Opps meant POAS nutter. Must proof read posts. Damn you smart phone.

PuppyMummy · 30/06/2012 13:25

af still not here! of course she could just be taunting me and may arrive tomorrow!

very pleased as did the 10k in 55mins 25 sec

Newbie - not had many symptoms this cycle. felt a bit bloated and crampy in first week after ov. boobs feeling little tender but always are before af and normally more than now! tbh I have tried not to think about it this month cos it was driving me a bit crazy!
oh adamant there was no line but I'm not convinced til af shows - or the fr says no later!

Christelle2207 · 30/06/2012 13:34

Echo I was stopping EPO after ovulation -but taking vitex throughout. Both are fine as long as you stop taking when you get BFP. A doctor prescribed EPO for a completely unrelated reason I asked if ok to carry on through the cycle and he said yes. EPO has a short term effect so I stopped taking it after ov to save money- vitex on the other hand takes 2-3 months to take effect so by that assume your efforts wasted if you stop for half the month as you go back to square one.
However, I am still not pg!

NicolaHazel · 30/06/2012 14:49

Yes, definitely POAS nutters here! Though the OPKs are starting to depress me somewhat what with their persistent no :-/

Only CD11 though. And I have ovulated on CD16 last cycle, judging by the pain (which would tie in with a 29 day cycle), though I am still paranoid about not ovulating. Even dreamt I wasn't ovulating last night! :-(

And a little blood during / after DTD this morning. Could have been the position, I suppose. Odd though.

Come on ladies, someone get another BFP to cheer me up. 18 days until I can test.

PuppyMummy · 30/06/2012 18:17

testing update!
still inconclusive!
there was a definate faint line on the fr test. oh looked first and spotted it. it is very very faint tho so he is still saying its a shadow...
been and got 2 superdrug tests so going to try not to drink much water or wee and do one of them later tonite. obviously also still no af
I have turned into a serial poas-er!

NicolaHazel · 30/06/2012 18:19

You're better off waiting til first thing tomorrow, puppy, sorry! Patience is a virtue, ha ha!

letsdothisthing · 30/06/2012 19:47

Thanks everyone :) have been reading up on here this afternoon and just come home from shopping... Have a confession to make...........

I bought a small OPK! Haha my 'relaxed' approach never stood a chance on here!! DH will think I'm barking mad but at least they're here now if I feel the urge to POAS - won't be for a few weeks though because sadly its still CD1!

EchoDragon · 30/06/2012 20:12

Woohoo lets has been on the thread one day we have converted you already to a POAS nutter.

puppy would just hold our until the morning. You'll have more HCG in your urine.

NicolaHazel · 30/06/2012 20:14

Echo speaks words of wisdom!! :-)

NicolaHazel · 30/06/2012 20:51

Ooh...the period tracker I downloaded says I'm in high fertility time starting today for 5 days. Best get shagging a bit more :-) Ovulation on Thursday.

God, I'm scared we will fail again :-(

Newbie2 · 30/06/2012 20:58

Evening! Well my cramps have died down a notch, backache still present and annoying heartburn or wind is still going strong. Oddly I've noticed that my nails have really grown this week. Basically I feel rubbish!

Nicola Best way to look at it is they say your chances are higher with every cycle!

NicolaHazel · 30/06/2012 21:01

Hopefully, as we apparently shagged almost every day last fertile period, so not happy now :-(

Got my fingers firmly crossed for your BFP, Newbie.

Newbie2 · 30/06/2012 21:08

I did tell you to take the apps and calendars with a pinch of salt! Remember they only show the average person and not necessarily what applies to you Grin

NicolaHazel · 30/06/2012 21:15

True, but we do have regular sex generally, so would have expected to catch ovulation last month.

I need to be more patient, I think!

Newbie2 · 30/06/2012 22:25

Cramps have died down this evening thank goodness! CM has definitely thickened And unless I'm going nuts I'm pretty sure my left boob is sore!!!

NicolaHazel · 30/06/2012 22:34

Just the left one?! ;-p

Newbie2 · 30/06/2012 22:36

Yep just the left one :) Maybe I get the right one tomorrow...I now understand why the 2ww drags!!!!

NicolaHazel · 30/06/2012 22:39

I really am trying to be more realistic this month...keep telling myself it won't happen, so a positive will be a nice surprise!

Maybe it will be just your right one tomorrow!

Newbie2 · 30/06/2012 22:52

Nicola I wish I could think like that. Honestly can't stop thinking about it no matter how much I try. If I was feeling fine I think it would be so much easier to forget if you know what I mean.

Newbie2 · 30/06/2012 22:53

Tomorrow I've planned to buy a bunch of 'Home magazines' to take my mind off it and hopefully make me more excited about the move!

NicolaHazel · 30/06/2012 22:59

Oh, I've no doubt my good intentions will come to nothing during the 2WW! Though if I don't get a positive OV result it may calm me down!

Good plan re thinking about your new home. Did your mum like it?

Newbie2 · 30/06/2012 23:20

She saw the potential but I don't think she was overwhelmed. I'm finding that it's hard to feel wow about any house when you've got a budget :)

NicolaHazel · 01/07/2012 09:46

Sounds a bit underwhelming :-(

And that is true re budget. Is it a doer upper then?

Are you going to proceed with the purchase?

Newbie2 · 01/07/2012 10:20

Nicola needs some TLC. It's a 80's house that hasn't got much style and the owners haven't kept it in that good condition. Needs new carpets, fresh paint, bannister, flooring downstairs etc. Doesn't need walls to be knocked down so all manageable but will still still take time and money. I guess I was hoping for something with a bit more character!

Newbie2 · 01/07/2012 10:23

I think we should proceed. I'm just feeling so emotional I'm finding it hard to commit. I keep thinking we've rushed into it and should wait for something else. If we pulled out now it would cost us probably £1K I liked the house at first but I've slowly gone off it and I don't know whether that is because I've not even feeling well :(
