A testing buddy is a great idea, Echo :-)

CD1 is first day of proper bleed.

I never seem to have spotting, before or after. Very defined arrival and departure! :-)

Newbie2 · 29/06/2012 20:46

Pop sorry to ask such a direct question but did you find you pooed more on your 2ww?

NicolaHazel · 29/06/2012 21:07

Sinking to new depths, Newbie! :-)

mumbaisapphire · 29/06/2012 21:23

Ok so I am back from my trip away and having now consulted my cycle record I have no clue what this cycle is doing.....!
CD1 was 16 June, we dtd on day 6, 9 & 11 ( I was away on day 12 & 13) and now I am back it's day 14. Have no clue if I am ovulating as the ewcm I got was very prominent on days 10+11. Going to dtd tonight as well just to be sure, but I'm not getting any mucus at all, and wonder is that it?....seems very early if I am going to have a 35 day cycle, so maybe I didn't ovulate?...also wondering if the travelling will mess things up as I was in a different time zone (-3 hours) than my normal one?

NicolaHazel · 29/06/2012 21:47

I don't know enough about CM to be of help, Mumbai, sorry. I don't analyse any more after failing miserably at it.

Interesting re time zones...hadn't considered that before. And again, no idea.

I'm not really much use, am I? :-/

Popinda · 29/06/2012 21:53

newbie don't think so. Then agian didn't think about it. Grin

Nicola desperate times :)

NicolaHazel · 29/06/2012 22:14

Could it be IBS? Not wanting to piss on your bonfire :-(

Christelle2207 · 29/06/2012 22:14

newbie I feel your pain, literally! 4 dpo and some strange cramping since yesterday. Now it might be not at all pg related but am definitely not imaging it! Not unlike ov cramps but a bit less bothersome and constant rather than coming and going. Fx for both of us it's good news. Mild boob pain as well but am ignoring that

Christelle2207 · 29/06/2012 22:15

Imagining

Newbie2 · 29/06/2012 22:25

Nicola how dare your piss on my BFP dreams No I don't think it is IBS. Surely I wouldn't get IBS 5DPO!? And I think you would get diarrhea with that...which I have not.

Christelle I've read a lot of complaints about cramping after OV. So it must be that! Only thing that is worrying me is that at some points today it got quite painful. When I went to loo earlier I had to grab sink because I got a sudden stab. Went away quickly though and back with the constant cramping like you...I obviously have a really low pain threshold!

NicolaHazel · 29/06/2012 22:30

I'll be keeping my fx for a BFP for you! Sounds hopeful, I think.

Really hope I get BFP soon. :-)

Newbie2 · 30/06/2012 00:00

Nicola with your stregic DTD and EOD skills you'll be next :)

Newbie2 · 30/06/2012 00:00

Strategic

NicolaHazel · 30/06/2012 00:34

I hope so!

Except for the cycles...so you're next!

Bloody boiling tonight, no DTD action! Not normally so warm. Phew!

Newbie2 · 30/06/2012 06:22

Nicola I've been doing some research and I think you might be right about IBS!!! Apparently its common to get it after a bad tummy bug! Really sad now :( Was so hoping it was good news but also knew that these cramps were too often and uncomfortable to be pregnancy related. It must of been the stress of TTC that triggered it. Back to the doctor I go Shock

NicolaHazel · 30/06/2012 08:25

I'm sorry :-( It was the increased pooing which made me ask.

Don't give up though.

Newbie2 · 30/06/2012 09:00

Well it's not like I'm pooing all the time. One poo in the morning (as normal) and one pop after dinner (not normal) NHS says symptoms of IBS is diarrhoea and constipation. Well I don't have the first and surely I wouldn't be pooping twice if I'm constipated!? Hah ladies I'm so sorry for these early morning TMI chats Ive developed!!

letsdothisthing · 30/06/2012 09:31

Hi everyone can I join you?

Me and husb both 28, I'm on CD1 today and about to start TTC this month but have long cycles 34-35 days (ish) so won't be testing until August now :( realise from all your posts that I'm clueless about all of this so hoping to get to grips with all these acronyms and make use of your helpful advice!

Our plan is to relax and 'see what happens' but don't know how long that will last before I start the endless symptom spotting :o anyway looking forward to the chat and to some good news for us all very soon!! :)

PuppyMummy · 30/06/2012 09:37

morning all, found u over here! newbie my oh has self diagnosed Ibs he poops about 5 times a day!!

anyhow - tested this morning (af due yesterday or today) inconclusive! I think very very faint line oh thinks not! obviously I could just wait to c if af arrives but we have drinks planned tonite (if af here obviously) so am going to do another test this eve.
this morning was a clearblue this aft will be a fr .
off to run 10k race for life now which will help take my mind off things!!

Newbie2 · 30/06/2012 09:45

Wow Puppy! This is exciting news for possible BFP :) you sound so relaxed about it all unlike fretting me over here! I take it you have no sickie sumptoms as youre off for a long run? My poops compared to 5 is not very much I guess!

Hi *lets' welcome to the crazy TTC house! I would love to say I started off 'relax' trying but that would be a big fat lie as I think I brought OV sticks on second week' Grin

Newbie2 · 30/06/2012 09:48

NHS also say that my abdominal pain would be on the right (guessing that is where gut is) at the moment my cramp is very much on the left.

I would love to rewind 14 yrs to remind myself what AF cramps felt like...I remember they were painful but I can't remember the feeling.

DulcetMoans · 30/06/2012 09:51

Welcome letssothisthing! I think we probably all started with the relaxed approach but we seem to egg each other on! There is a full acronym list up there ^ but we mainly use AF - aunt flo, DTD - doing the deed, DH/DP - darling husband/darling partner. You know your cycle though, that's a great first step. I didn't even know that when I got here!

Good luck with your run puppy! Hopefully you can get your BFP before to give you the motivation!

IBS would be a pain newbie but doesn't mean no BFP!

NicolaHazel · 30/06/2012 11:30

Hi letsdothisthing

And fx for puppy, sounds promising!

Newbie, having read the IBS thing, I reckon I must have a very mild version of it, which is interesting and explains a lot! :-)

Fx for your BFP.

EchoDragon · 30/06/2012 12:57

Morning

Welcome lets. However if your hoping for a relaxed approach we may not be the best bunch! We encourage each other shamelessly to POAS (pee on a stick) or into a random assortment of objects. Since I joined this forum have turned onto a POAS butter. :o

So revised SWI schedule is day 7,10, 12, 14 and review in a week.

Am waiting on EPO as advised by popinda.

Am I right in thinking Vitex and EPO need to be stopped when I get a pos opk (ovulation prediction kit)

New peeps hope am helping with the acronyms.
