CD18 today, DTD last night just in case. I'm still confused as to why I had EWCM so early (day 10&11), but can only hope it means that my cycles are going back to their normal 29 days instead of 34-35 I've been having.

Something tells me though that we haven't hit the jackpot this month, so I am going to invest in some OV sticks.......what kind does everyone buy? I see that the Clearblue ones with the smiley face are v.v.expensive, but have heard you can buy cheaper ones which involve checking the colour of the strips.....reminds me of science lessons at school, checking the PH of things! I live overseas, but I can still order from Amazon and Ebay, so assume I would be able to get the same as you ladies can.

Also glad to see there are some ladies in my age group here! I'm 35 and worried that nothing is working any more! Off to buy some vitamins for DP today.....I've read he needs Vitamin C and Zinc.....I can't find any of those conception vitamins for men over here, so am going to buy separates.

Popinda · 03/07/2012 15:11

lisa 1-2 cup of coffee are fine, however I have been drinking only decaf as apparently caffein increases risk of miscarriage! I'm not risking that! Also green tea is not recommended!

mum I had my ov sticks from amazon. 50 for about £8. You have to wait for second line to appear. I was getting a bit frustrated as was getting faint line from time to time. nicola this is for you too Smile - I was on cd16 and still not second proper line! Almost gave up, when my ewcm started to increase and I got positive on late cd17, all day cd18 and cd19!! So I just made sure we dtd this three days (which was very hard by that point as we were dtd almost every day at the beginning of my cycle, because I thought I ov earlier) and now I'm pg! GrinGrinGrin
I still poas every day! Line is now nice and strong and comes up very quickly! Grin I will have to stop soon! Running out of the sticks! Sad

newbie than don't! I'm regretting doing one before I was pg as I would love to do it now, just to see how I'm progressing! Would like to know if it would show 2-3 or 3+ weeks! Was thinking of buying another one, but not sure if there is much point.

Pop decided only reason I will have to test in the morning is because of the gastritus :( If I'm pregnant it would be very irresponsible of me not to go to the doctors ASAP as I'm sure it would need to be looked into sooner rather then later. If I was you Pop I would definitely be tempted to buy another digital to see the 3 week sign :) even though it is a waste

Have sent DH to Boots pharmacy to have a chat with the pharmisist. Gave him a list of my symptoms and to say that I may be pregnant. FX he comes back with some suitable medicine!

NicolaHazel · 03/07/2012 17:18

Hmmm...periody feeling with spotting. Mad cycle or something else?!

Newbie2 · 03/07/2012 17:21

Nicola really? I thought you hadn't OVd yet

NicolaHazel · 03/07/2012 17:46

I haven't! Feel quite sick though, low back ache, that heavy feeling etc. And now spotting!

If I was on the 2WW, I'd be pissing on a stick, I can tell you!

Newbie2 · 03/07/2012 18:23

Nicola hmmm and you POAOS this morning? Sounds like ovulation to me. You know you can get light bleeding mid cycle normally pink-red for 1-2 days while ovulation is going on. You may be ovulating :)

Newbie2 · 03/07/2012 18:27

Btw that's how I felt on my OV day. I think you should make peace with hubs 2 be tonight :)

So I can share that Gaviscon is pregnant friendly. Takes a while to work though and does not get rid of stomach pains but it's better then nothing.

letsdothisthing · 03/07/2012 18:30

Already told him I want make up sex! He'd better not disappoint. :+)

Newbie2 · 03/07/2012 19:08

My guess anyway!

NicolaHazel · 03/07/2012 19:14

I was already thinking it was an option...not keen on how I feel without birth control though!

DulcetMoans · 03/07/2012 19:19

I would say that's ov nicola. Get yourself some! Lots of it!

I wanna add to the list but on the phone, will do out later or tomorrow when I get in there. Nice one though girls, our own list! Yay!

Watching one born every minute, mistake! Just going to be jealous and then worried!

Maclairey · 03/07/2012 19:22

Evening all

Sorry to hear you are still poorly Newbie. Fingers crossed it sorts itself out soon. I bought some gaviscon yesterday too. Also bought Feminax as reverse psychology!!

Nicola sounds like ov to me too! Get swi!!!

My stats...

Maclairey Cycle 1 Day 73 10dpo BFP 6 July (not optimistic however!!)

Maclairey · 03/07/2012 19:23

I love OBEM Dulcet, especially when the dads cry at the end!!

Newbie2 · 03/07/2012 19:23

Dulcet I saw that the new series starts tomorrow at 10pm yay :)

Newbie2 · 03/07/2012 19:27

Thanks Mclairey it's my fault so I can't really complain. Should have got a poo sample to docs quicker and would have a result by now! Now I can't poop...so typical. DH will be dropping off my poop at the docs tomorrow while I go to work...he really does have to go the extra mile in our marriage Grin Soz for the TMI :)

DulcetMoans · 03/07/2012 19:41

Does it really newbie?! This is season 2, it's my local hospital. Where I will be if I ever get to that stage!

I do sometimes feel really bad for the dads maclairey, they look so helpless!
