So here is another thread. Good luck everyone! baby dust everywhere!

OP posts:
NicolaHazel · 02/07/2012 23:40

He's said I should go back. I'm being stubborn!

Newbie2 · 03/07/2012 02:59

Oh here we go again...up at 3am with the worst abdominal cramps. This is not pregnancy... this is hell! I must be sick again :( Why do there have to be so many bugs flying about when I'm TTC!

Nicola hope you had make up DTD Wink Men are so annoying. They can be so laid back about all this TTC nonsense!

Newbie2 · 03/07/2012 03:52

After trawling Google I am now 99% sure that I have Gastritis :( That will teach me for not providing the doctor with the requested stool sample! I won't be making that mistake again! So I guess I'm out for a March baby then :( boo hoo! This better not make me miss AF again...that will seriously hack me off!

Newbie2 · 03/07/2012 04:17

Hah hah I've been reading the July thread for entertainment while I'm recovering and look what i see...you thread cheaters are on a special July list :)

NicolaHazel · 03/07/2012 06:31

How are you feeling now, Newbie? Sounds nasty, but you could be pg too!

I didn't have DTD to make up...not putting myself forward to be rejected again :-( I only went back in there because next door's TV was too loud to sleep in the spare room! Slept on the edge of the bed.

Now...do I make him the usual cup of tea or go without talking to him?

PuppyMummy · 03/07/2012 06:45

cup of tea!

af has finally arrived. so either oh was right and there was no line or my line was a cp. anyhow actually feeling better now I know where I'm at!

cd1 today although this longer cycle will change my estimated ov day. will have to have more swi to be in safe side!

NicolaHazel · 03/07/2012 06:57

Yeah, made him tea, but only because it increases my chances of DTD tonight! Didn't particularly talk to him, however!

I am seriously unimpressed about last night...he vanished while getting ready for bed, then came in ranting about over the road using our bin (which IS annoying, admittedly, as they have more bin space per flat than us). He then continued ranting while I was trying to get him interested in DTD, which failed.

To top it off, he reckons he didn't turn me down!

NicolaHazel · 03/07/2012 07:01

Sorry AF got you, Puppy. But with short cycles you're still in with a shout for July? Bloody bodies. :-(

LisaC2611 · 03/07/2012 07:23

Oh no newbie doesn't sound nice, fx it's both pg and gastritis.

Ha nicola I did that with my dh night before last, he told me he wasn't in the mood Angry, he made up for it last night thou Wink

LisaC2611 · 03/07/2012 07:24

Sorry to hear af got u puppy

EchoDragon · 03/07/2012 07:49

Aww puppy sorry to hear about AF.

nicola I had to smile. Sounds like the sort of thing me and my DH do. Except he would be on the sofa. I used to try and get him back into bed now I just ignore and he usually lasts bout ten minutes before he's back in bed.

I don't think they take TTC very seriously. We DTD over the weekend but he didn't donate any sperm. He was all there's always next time nevermind. Had to resist the urge to hit him. Always next time indeed! Angry

DulcetMoans · 03/07/2012 09:10

You left me to DTD on my own the nicola! Sounds like you had an interesting night though, hope he does make up for it tonight!

Are you going to make another trip to the docs then newbie? Sounds like you should, you can't keep on like this!

Sorry about AF puppy but it means you can try again soon. Another week and you'll be back to it.

So I haven't really gotten into the ov sticks. I've only done three since I got them last week. I get faint lines on them but understand its not the same as pg test so a faint doesn't mean anything.

NicolaHazel · 03/07/2012 09:45

I get no bloody lines on mine...quite annoying.

I've been far more conciliatory than I normally would be as I need his sperm tonight!! Should be ovulating any time now and not DTD since Saturday!

Why can't he be as into it as me?! And why choose now to turn down sex for the first time ever? Performance anxiety? :-(

Newbie2 · 03/07/2012 10:07

Puppy blahhh to AF! Fx you'll be doing another round before July is over :)

So I didn't get to sleep until 6am :( This pain is very different to what I've been experiencing over the last week. It is very similar to what I had the week before I OVd. The only way I can explain it is it's like a really really bad stitch pain that tightens up on the upper left portion of the abdomen around to the back.

It is all my fault really as I never went back to the doctor with my stool sample because I got better and then OVd. I will now do that ASAP but I rang doc this morning and it takes 3-4 days to get results :( Hopefully by then I will know about preg results too. I'm not going to start worrying about having the two together as I can't imagine it is a good thing! I've also booked two doctor appointments online just in case! The earliest one I could get is the 10th July. I'm feeling really sorry for myself :(

Newbie2 · 03/07/2012 10:10

Nicola I had exactly the same problem with my man a couple of weekends ago. They just don't get it! I think it is a real turn off for them. My DH said it makes him feel like a piece of meat...how ridiculous is that! I think he was just trying to get a reaction out of me Grin

Newbie2 · 03/07/2012 10:15

By the way I POAS (cheapie 10mil internet one) and it is still BFN

Newbie2 · 03/07/2012 10:21

I feel like I really deserve a BFP because I haven't had any pain killers for 2 weeks...not even herbal remedies. It's a lot of pain to go through for nothing! If AF arrives in full steam after all this I'll be speechless Shock

Popinda · 03/07/2012 10:56

newbie herbal remedies can be more damaging than a paracetamol! Some herbs are very dangerous in pregnancy!

OP posts:
Newbie2 · 03/07/2012 11:01

Pop Really? Good job I've not touched any!

LisaC2611 · 03/07/2012 12:06

This thread is great, you learn so much from it! I never knew herbal remedies were dangerous during pregnancy. Will steer well clear of them.

I did think you are allowed paracetamol during pregnancy though - obviously not on huge quantities, but a few of my friends that have had children told me the drs said it was fine, and when labour started they were told to have paracetamol and go back to bed!

Popinda · 03/07/2012 12:22

lisa not all of them, just some. Even some herbal teas are no no. And you are right about paracetamol too. Smile

OP posts:
LisaC2611 · 03/07/2012 13:15

Thankfully I don't like tea, of any kind so i'm ok with that. What i'm going to struggle with is coffee. Will have to go to the decaf blend Brew

Newbie2 · 03/07/2012 13:36

I think you can still have tea & coffee occasionally can't you? I think mums to be are just told to cut down intake. Maybe I'm wrong though.

LisaC2611 · 03/07/2012 13:46

I don't drink masses of coffee, probably 2-3 cups a day. I think you can still have some but decaff is the better variety Hmm

I've drunk coffee all the way through TTC so hopefully a few more won't make any difference with I get my BFP.

Was just having a look on the July thread and they have a stats list of what cycle everyone is on, and what date they are testing, should we give it a try on this thread?

Newbie2 · 03/07/2012 14:03

I don't feel like cracking open cb test in the morning now :( I feel I already know the answer.
