Welcome to the 2.30 from Mumsnet Towers. The fillies have been groomed to within an inch of their lives and are raring to go.

Late entries for the race are required to locate and fill in the BESHtionnaire so that their form can be assessed.

Bring on the stallions!

Thinking of you bugsy, keeping stuff crossed.

Also I need to go back to work out what my cowboy horse was called. Oh I remember: re-introducing Jolly Jumper!

Cannot look on the previous page and my brain has been replaced by a siff, so will keep it at this. Feeling very MEH, so hope you lot will be here and distract me!

HaveALittleFaith · 25/06/2012 10:02

Wish me luck I'm off to my hospital appointment!

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 25/06/2012 10:03

Good luck, faif. Really hope they can get some way towards answers for you!

LauraPalmerish · 25/06/2012 10:18

Hope it goes well today, Faithy and that you get some much-deserved answers.

How're you feeling today Euro?

Today I must get a load of PhD writing done that I've been putting off for several weeks. Difficult as I really just want to lay around in bed and read MN freds. Grrrrrrrr to work.

Northey · 25/06/2012 10:23

bugs, darling, I really feel for you. Brown blood is not heavy red, though, which is the really worrying one. Any pain?

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 25/06/2012 10:24

Come back laura, how does PhD interspersed with MN sound?

Does anyone want to prod my boobs? Envy They are heavy, painful and not diffed...

LauraPalmerish · 25/06/2012 10:28

How about no PhD and all MN?

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 25/06/2012 10:34

Grin at padding and ouch at groping - I asked for that...
As for PhD-ing, I reckon it is best ignored, but if it will make you stressed and miserable, you should do something about it. But I would so use the early diffage exhaustion as an excuse...

HaveALittleFaith · 25/06/2012 11:23

I think 30 mins PHd, 15 mins MN lors.

Had appointment. Good news is he believes me :) abd thinks it is a urology problem, so no faffing between consultants. Got to have an op Confused as a day case to have a look up me pipe work and possibly flush things out. Awaiting date but likely to be soon.

My buzzwams are less tender, BFN this morning but no sign of droid so jury still out.

I know exactly where you're coming from Bugs - our 2nd mc pushed us over the edge for a while (you might remember from my Dec/Jan posts). But we made it through - we just took some time apart and found a way to come back together on better emotional terms. You and GP are strong as a couple - and no matter what you face, you can get through it together. please ignore how cheesy that sounds as it's the truth

All that said, you haven't mc'd, sweets. And there is a very good chance that you won't. I know it's hard to stay positive but you haven't had any additional spotting, right? Have you called your EPU to see if they could get you in today?

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 25/06/2012 11:44

Good that you had a snooze, bugs. The quicker the time ticks away until your scan tomorrow the better. Keeping stuff crossed.

Yay for being taken seriously, faith, if not for needing an op to flush out the plumbing - never realised that was so common until struggling with the baybee making.

Did I mention that I am so jealous of my obese SIL who's had a baybee win after 1 month of TTC... horrid pg though, but if I could get the kid but not her personality, I'd so swap

MC is very hard on the menz in a very different way than it is for us - I'm sure that when it happened to you he felt totally helpless. And he's scared to ever be in that situation again.

Sorry for not responding earlier, but I'm so glad you got an insta-referral, Faife.

Will do bugs. Just hoping to get surgery date soon. Can't remember a period of longer than a week in the last three months I wasn't dosed up on painkillers. I'm hoping it's the cure all and I'll get back to normal afterwards! Smile

Have you managed to get any PHd work done lp?

FriendofDorothy · 25/06/2012 14:04

Honestly! My mother-in-law moans more than anyone i have ever met. It is starting to drive me nuts!

CaveMum · 25/06/2012 16:50

Deep breaths Dor, think of all the positive karma you've got coming your way for putting up with them Grin

How are you doing Bugs?

HaveALittleFaith · 25/06/2012 17:23

You'd think she'd be excited for you dor! How long are they with you?

FriendofDorothy · 25/06/2012 17:30

They go home on Wednesday and then we are off to Sark Folk Festival for a few days. I can't wait!

HaveALittleFaith · 25/06/2012 17:32

Only 2 days to survive then! Keep going dor

FriendofDorothy · 25/06/2012 17:37

It makes me sound really ungrateful doesn't it?

They are very nice but I am just a bit irritable I think!

HaveALittleFaith · 25/06/2012 17:46

Ooof no I would hate to have someone moany round me if I was diffed and excited but also tired!

Hello, back from the Emerald Isle. Michael O'Leary was tearing tickets at the boarding gate at 6am which was quite surreal.

ILs v excited which was nice and we talked about them coming over in Nov and Xmas. They are jolly nice and not pushy so I am lucky (I know this even more from MN!)

Bugs I have been thinking of you, I know you are trying to prepare/steel yourself and that is completely understandable. I got a bit sick of everyone telling me it would be ok when I was having bleeds etc so I won't say that but will just say I hope very much you get the news you want and deserve tomorrow. Lots of unbeshly luff.
