Welcome to the 2.30 from Mumsnet Towers. The fillies have been groomed to within an inch of their lives and are raring to go.

Late entries for the race are required to locate and fill in the BESHtionnaire so that their form can be assessed.

Bring on the stallions!

It's still not here yet, lulling me into a false sense of security Hmm
Today is CD63, so not the longest I've had, that was a stonking 116 days, if you don't count the 7 months I went without a period before having one chemically induced.

Have you/are you considering POAS or is the temp drop putting you off?
Wedding has been luffly. I'm flagging now. Not drinking norf cos makes the kidney pain worse :( did have one cheeky glass of wine without major repercussions but wasn't chancing any more. Today has been a bit emotionally tough - body confidence is at all time low, a couple of tiny baybees and many pregnant women. I just never imagined we'd be this far down the line without winning a baybee.....I think I'm nearly ready for my bed!

CaveMum · 14/07/2012 22:52

In true BESH-style I have been contemplating POASing for a few at least 12 days Wink

The temp drop this morning was still above the cover line. I'll see what tomorrow's temp check brings and may just POAS for the hell of it. It's very stop go here, I had an hour of horrendous cramps this morning, then nothing for most of the day. They came back in a very minor way this evening, so I numbed them with Wine

Hope you get out of the wedding and back to your bed soon faithy

Hola peeps

Faife, glad wedding was fun, well coped with it all. Fortunately the wedding I went to last week was debauchery and drunkenness to excess childfree so managed to avoid overt child ness. Couldn't avoid those up the duff, but small mercies etc. well done on sticking out till near 11!

Cave- hope cycle sorts its self out and the cramping declares itself, one way or another.

Euro, sorry it's all so shit. I know 2 people who've had treatment for CIN changes who were given warnings about premature labour. Between them they now have 3 children after very unexciting pregnancies. And, of course, the pleural of anecdote is data... But you get my drift. When do you get to speak to the doc again?

It seems my shitty questionnaire reached its destination, and I have now been sent another letter asking me to book repeat bloods and fanjo cam. I have to ring them on cd1, within the next 8 weeks... That might be a problem, given the last cycle of 77 days... Ho hum.

AlpinePony · 15/07/2012 07:44

sinking argh I could murder the nob who penned that ditty for it to be repeated by fucknuts all over.

faith I'm sorry you're having ishoos. I think you look gorgeous. Have you tried clutching a bottle of champers, wearing 6"stillies, a split thigh one-shouldered dress, standing a-top a grand with your mascara running down your face and screeching "I am booootifulll no matter what you saaaaay, words can't bring me daaaaaahn". Works for me.

Northey · 15/07/2012 07:45

Oh God, I feel for you, faif. I bet it was emotionally exhausting. how are you feeling this morning?

Northey · 15/07/2012 07:46
AlpinePony · 15/07/2012 07:48

How are your riding lessons going norf? I've only worn my wedding & engagement rings maybe a dozen times - want to keep your options open innit.

Northey · 15/07/2012 07:53

Oh absolutely, mountainranger. Screeching "I am boootiful" with running mascara, they must flock to you like bees to a honeypot. I'd do you.

Rising lessons are going very well, thank you, by which I mean I'm enjoying them very much despite my gross incompetence. I'm not a natural physical learner, and am too shy to ask anatomically precise questions about which part of my ladybits should I be coming down on (if indeed any). But the horse is nice. And I rock a pair of jodhpurs.

CaveMum · 15/07/2012 08:40

BFN this morning. Hardly a surprise. Still no sign of droid. It's mocking me I tells ya.

Got to make a decision about these Clomid pills I have knocking around. Technically I'm off the treatment, so no monitoring of bloods, but the nurse did say it was up to me if I wanted to take them while waiting for my next appointment to come through.

My thinking is, if nothing else, they should give me a shorter than normal cycle to work with.

OP posts:
Northey · 15/07/2012 09:10

I'd do it, cave.

sinkingflameofhilarity · 15/07/2012 09:30

I was given that option cave, I chose not to carry on, but I'd felt pretty shitty on the clomid.

HaveALittleFaith · 15/07/2012 09:32

I'd do it too cave. Like you say- shorter cycle, increased liklihood of ovulation and maybe one more chance before they move you on to other things?

Ooh, I'm blind. What's the sparkly thing on your finger norf?!

I stuck it out til the end last night and I'm glad I did :) right at the very end the DJ played New Radicals You've got the music in you which is kind of our anthem. We were sitting in the bar at that point and my friend I went running to the dance floor! I was a bit overcome with emotion at that point! Of all the weddings I've been to, I don't think I've ever seen a couple so well suited. They're both such kind hearted people they'll do well together. So I kind of did sing my heart out, but with J2Os and purple Mary Janes Wink

Lazy morning in hotel before trundling back to the shire in the sunshine. What's everyone up to?

Northey · 15/07/2012 09:39

Mountain climbing :) And then a few hours in a pub for exhausted pint-drinking and steak-eating. Then back to the b&b to obey the little flowers on my ovulation app. Assuming AMNH's pint-drinking hasn't gone too far...

eurochick · 15/07/2012 09:40

Boooo for the BFN.

faif it sounds like you have had a tough weekend. Next weekend I have the delight of a christening at the other end of the country. So we are staying at a hotel with two close friends, one of who will be there with her 8 month old and the other with his preggo wife.

sinking the anecdotes help, thanks. The internet is full of horror stories. But those are a self-selecting group. You are more likely to go onto an internet forum looking for advice or wanting to rant if you are having problems after the procedure. I think the risk of prem labour is "only" 12% or so. But given we are in the 5% who can't get updiffed after bloody ages of trying, it would be just my luck...

I'm another intermittent ring wearer. I put mine on most days when I leave the house, but then remove them to type, wash hands, when I get home, etc. So I reckon I wear them for about an hour a day. I am sure I am going to end up leaving them somewhere because I take them off so much.

Northey · 15/07/2012 09:40

I love that New Radicals song!

Northey · 15/07/2012 09:42

I was thinking of you last night, euro, as I tried and failed to get into sechsing properly. Have you rediscovered your orgasm yet?

HaveALittleFaith · 15/07/2012 10:49

We were spared the pleasure of spending the morning with two couples and their little ones (the potential host also being diffed with #2) because she's woken up snuffly. Driving home in the sunshine listening to oasis :) with brunch planned when we get back. Then I think it'll be a chilled put afternoon with ironing and maybe a film?!

norf that sounds very adventurous! Enjoy.

euro I am thinking of you while all this is going on.

eurochick · 15/07/2012 11:01

Norfy yes, I have. Twice this morning in fact (Mr euro has a chest infection and took himself off to the spare room so I could experiment). Grin So my hormones must be sorting themselves out.

HaveALittleFaith · 15/07/2012 11:06

Yes I found that a little odd too and in no way thought of it when we had similar ishoos yesterday between wedding breakfast and evening do only to have our friends ask just exactly how long it takes to book into a hotel room?!

CaveMum · 15/07/2012 13:08

Droid is here Sad

I will take the Clomid I have left. I didn't get much in the way of side effects, bar a few night sweats, so it doesn't bother me.

Made the mistake of stumbling into the "TTC 1st baby" thread. Nearly choked on the baybee dust [vom] [bitter about no longer having that shiny positive vibe]

Hello lovely BESH.

Hurrah for ok weddings and the finding of lost orgasms!

Cavemeister - you're not in too bad company, (batty and hormone filled but not bad). I POAS and got BFN yesterday as well. My own fault. Too early but the eBay cheapies were calling my name when I went for my 5am wee. Hope something happens one way or the other soon

Not much doing here today. HY working allllllll day so just me and the tinker hanging out. Much prefer the sound of some of your Sundays - pubs and brunches and afternoon humping all sound much more fun.

CamelKnees · 15/07/2012 13:12

Oh sorry cavey cross posts.

HaveALittleFaith · 15/07/2012 13:44

Oh cavey I'm sorry to hear that.

Random horse question - you know how you have to scoop up dog poo or there's a fine? What about horses? A girl rides her horse round the village and it often poos on the road. It's quite messy! Does it decompose quickly?

camel here's hoping its too early.

CaveMum · 15/07/2012 13:55

Faith, no you don't have to pick up horse poo as you go. It does decompose very quickly and is made up entirely of vegetable matter. Unlike cat/dog poo which is mostly meat and contains a lot of bacteria.
