Our new home, hope you all find me soon...

Pocket I can only echo the others, bleeds are very common in early pregnancy. Rest up and let DH take care of you. x

Scrummybump · 27/10/2012 12:49

pocket sorry for being a bit late on your news, but hang in there. Our little group (myself included) experienced a lot o bleeds before, during and after BFPs and some were advised to stop aspirin and clexane for a bit, others not and we're all still going strong. Glad you've had your advise from the clinic. I hope you don't have to make your way there, so you can just rest up. Be kind to yourself!

Pocket1 · 27/10/2012 16:13

Been to clinic. My progesterone had dropped so I'm now on cyclogest too. Clinc reassuring me so I'm trying hard to stay positive. Back Monday to repeat hcg and prontogest.

Thank you for all your kind words and support - and for indulging me me me!

Hope everyone is well

Friosticle fx for your et tmw x

Pocket1 · 27/10/2012 16:14

Sorry meant back Monday to repeat hcg and progesterone Blush

MoJangled · 27/10/2012 23:56

Pocket sounds like they're being very thorough - you're in good hands. I know how killingly scary it is though. But in the end being positive is a nicer experience while you wait for news (as the last 3 weeks have shown me), whenever you can manage it. Sounds like we're on similar treatments - I'm on clexane, projesterone injections and pessaries, oestrogen tablets and high dose prednisolone. I do wish you could have had a few days just to enjoy your bfp though! But it seems like we are not granted such things as peaceful, stress-free pregnancies very often ( probably a karmic balancing act against how witty charming and gorgeous we are eh Wink ) Have a relaxing Sunday and skyrocketing hCG levels on Monday xx

Sachabella I've heard some clinics recommeding clients drink a pint of milk a day to cover off protein requirements for great eggs. Might be worth adopting as an insurance policy? Quite good for early pregnancy too. Hope it's going well!

Sashabella0 · 28/10/2012 09:03

Thanks ladies. Drinking loads of water and a pint of milk a day. Stocked up on Brazil nuts just got to remember to eat them now!

Feeling very relaxed about the whole thing. I'm not one to get stressed easily and it doesn't seem real yet. Perhaps it will tomorrow when I have what will most probably be my final scan before EC.

Pocket - thinking of you. Hope everything goes well tomorrow. Xxx

Beginningofthejourney · 28/10/2012 12:41

Hi everyone just catching up with the last few days wow, I went on a roller coaster with you Pocket so I can only imagine how you are feeling! Hope you are relaxing as much as you can and have good news tomorrow.
I've had friends staying this weekend which has been great but bit tricky to explain not drinking etc. keep swaying between being convinced i will have BFP and BFN, also a good friend has started trying for a baby this month, I can imagine how I will feel if she is lucky and I am not :-( trying to chill on the bench! Sorry bit of a rambled post but easier to rant on line! X

MiniH · 28/10/2012 14:34

pocket my lovely, what a 24 hours for you. Really hope the increased progesterone does the trick. Fwiw, low progesterone after ivf seems really common - a girl who cycles with me and is now 5 1/2 is on three cyclogest and 150 of gestone and progesterone has never got above 200. Fx levels are rising well.

I just had my call from the clinic with today's bloods and I'm totally Confused. Levels showed a 64% increase in 48 hours but as levels are above 1,200 everything I've read says 72-96 hours for them to double so that sounded fine to me. Nurse said was a bit on the slow side though so I have to come in again tomorrow so they can monitor me closely. I know they are the experts but I can't get my head around how this is considered slow but a week ago when levels should have been doubling every 48 hours and I had only a 30% increase in 24 hours they said it was fine and said not to re-test next day. Very confused but desperately trying not to worry.

Pocket1 · 28/10/2012 19:55

Hi lovely ladies - thanks again for all your kind words and support. No bleeding today and i've rested all day - generally feeling much better. Mo I'm trying to take your advice about passing the time with positive thoughts rather than negative ones [hgrin].

I didn't mention yesterday that the sight of the blood caused me to faint with the shock. I was out for a split second but landed on the tiled bathroom floor with a thud and today i have the hugest of bruises on my backside. Teamed with with the lumps from the progesterone jabs, my oestrogen patches and my bottom is a picture!

Beginning the bench is aka the looney bin... it will drive you slightly crazy but we've all been there and you're in good company. When is otd?

Mini I was reading my 'what to do when you're expecting' book today, and read up on HCG levels. It says that every women and every pregnancy is different and in some cases, levels dont double. I know you're worried (its part and parcel of this entire journey) but you're in great hands and hopefully tomorrows tests will put your mind at rest again. Do you have a scan booked soon?

Mo my love, sending you the hugest positive vibes for tomorrow's scan - i will be holding your hand and praying that Mini Mo is growing well and you get loads of positive reassurance tomorrow. Keep us posted - will be checking for your news. [hsmile]

Big week for lots of us with scans, tests, retests, otd and et....

All together now Dont stop believing
[hbiscuit][hbiscuit]

Beginningofthejourney · 28/10/2012 20:13

Pocket I'm really sorry but ur post did make me lol a little bit! :-) hope ur bottom is ok tho!
Otd is Saturday, I'm already imagining the sleepless night on Friday! Trying not to symptom or lack of symptom spot but its impossible, think I am going bit crazy! X

gingernutdreams · 28/10/2012 21:23

Pocket I am so sorry you had such a scare. I hope the extra progesterone and positive thinking does the trick, and your re-test brings you happy news.

Mini sweetie, I hope you are managing not to panic, try to stay calm. I hope your visit to the clinic tomorrow reassures you.

Sasha I am impressed with your calm, chilled out approach, and well done on drinking all that water and milk. I hope those follies grow, grow grow for you!

Beginning it is completely normal to be fluctuating between imagining a BFP and BFN, but try to stay positive and keep believing! [hsmile]

All the very best of luck with your scan tomorrow, I too am sending you hugs and the most positive of vibes for mini mo

I am still having lots of ups and downs myself since my mc, but am having more ups than downs now, so that is progress. Not long now till my review appointment so must get writing my list of questions for the consultant. Not quite sure where to start!

Frostie I hope the ET went well and your embies/blastos are settling in nicely.

bugsylugs · 28/10/2012 23:22

Pocket hugs and positive vibes. You are in the best hands. What a roller coaster little pocket now just you hear us all we are so excited about you stick and grow.

Mo hope all goes well tomorrow we will be there for the hand holding.

Am thinking of you all often even though I am not posting often. Am having to concentrate on DM do not know if and when we will get our next go. But appointments for her have taken over need to be strong for her, chemo starts Tues., then hopefully radiotherapy and Easter op to remove.

Hope it is a great positive week. Don't stop believing

Pocket1 · 29/10/2012 08:31

MoJangled · 29/10/2012 11:05

MY BABY HAS SHOWN THEM ALL!!!

Scan showed a super strong heartbeat flickering away at over 120 bpm, and it had grown to 11 mm. I'm so weak and floppy with relief I feel like a blob of jelly.

Technically Pip is still measuring small, 7+3, rather than the exactly 9 weeks I really am, and the staff clearly think I'm some sort of medical oddity and don't know what to do with me, but the bottom line is that Pip is growing and happy and that's all I care about. The EPU staff were brilliant, actually, after all my angsting.

So now please let's have some really good numbers and peace of mind for you Pocket - sending you love and hand holds.

Bugsy my thoughts are with you and your DM, its very hard to be strong for someone else. I hope it goes as well as it can Xx

Ginger attagirl. When's your appointment? Presumably the main questions are going to be around immunes?

Love to all Xx

BadgerFace · 29/10/2012 11:45

Go go go Mo and Pip - that's so amazing! It's the power of believing. Grin

Pocket I hope your bum is a bit less sore today! And what's one more bruise in the grand scheme of things.

Mini Good luck at the clinic.

Sasha Here's reminder number 1 for brazil nut chomping... Yum Yum.

Bugsy Thinking of you and your DM. So sorry you are going through this.

Beginning I hope your last week on the bench flies by, roll on saturday!

And how's Frosticle doing?

Waves to everyone else!

Teds77 · 29/10/2012 12:42

Oh Mo that's lovely news x.

Pocket so sorry to hear about the bleed (the the bum bruises!) - hope that all goes well for you today too x.

Bugsy thinking of you and your DM and sending ((hugs)).

Pocket1 · 29/10/2012 13:16

Oh Mo that is just the best news. I could my be happier for you GrinGrinGrin. Am just off for appt now with a bit of a bounce in my step.

Pocket1 · 29/10/2012 13:18

Sorry walking and typing Blush. I meant that I could not be more happy for you Smile

gingernutdreams · 29/10/2012 13:28

Mo that is utterly fantastic! So, so pleased for you! Go Pip! Grin

Bugsy so sorry to hear about your DM. Hugs and hand holding to you.

My appointment is 8th Nov, so next Thurs. I am going to ask about more immune tests, but have already had my NK cells test (which was negative - ie, I don't have too many or too few), so not sure what other ones to ask for? Any ideas ladies?

lucylookout · 29/10/2012 14:25

mo your news brought a tear to my eye. Go pip, go!

pocket hope your appt goes well x

Hi to everyone else!

MiniH · 29/10/2012 16:11

Mo yay! that is amazing, brilliant news. You are right - your little pip is strong and showing them all. Don't let them tell you otherwise.

Pocket oh no, your poor bum must be very sore. What a shock to have fainted as well. Really keeping everything crossed for you.

Ginger good luck with your follow up appointment.

Bugsy I really wish your DM the best of luck with her treatment. So tough for you to be going through all of that as well, but you sound like you are doing really well. I know we are not technically that kind of support thread, but we are definitely here to support you through whatever you need.

I have some teeny tiny good news of my own - we just saw a heartbeat! I had my repeat bloods done today and they called at midday to say they still weren't happy with my results so I had to come in for an urgent scan. Cue stressful hour and a half, but thankfully DH was able to come with me. We saw the sack, and a little flickering heartbeat, which Dr said was strong. Measured in at 2.5mm which he said was fine. I still need repeat bloods in 48 hours as Dr still not 100% happy, but like Mo I am ignoring any of their negativity as my little one is doing just brilliantly as far as I'm concerned. Still very much in shock to be honest.

love and waves to all xx

lucylookout · 29/10/2012 17:25

Bugsy I'm sorry, I missed your post. I'm sorry to hear about your DM and hope the treatment goes very well.

TheCatSofa · 29/10/2012 17:39

mo and mini what a great day for you both! Such good news, wonderful super bubbas!

pocket you poor thing you've been through the mill recently, hope all is good with the tests.

bugsy must be very hard for you and all consuming too. Hope that everything goes well for your DM.

Waves to everyone I've missed!

AFM am bobbing along still without any symptoms. I do have it hy boobs but i can't really blame compulsive eating on being pg as an greedy anyway! Contemplating doing another test as first scan not til 15th and feel may go mad before then... I know it's very possible not to have any symptoms at all so I shouldn't stress.. I'm just like a broken record!

Pocket1 · 29/10/2012 18:10

Really great news Mini.

They say things come in threes... So to add to Mo and Mini's good news today, its positive here also. Hcg and progesterone up. Woop woop.
