Yay welcome back Weller and fx for your cycle next month.

Frosticle how exciting for you?. And good luck with your scan tomorrow.

Teds really great to hear that you?re two little ones are doing well. And behaving so well so mummy can get back to normal!

Lucy how are you and Catherine doing?

Hoops how are you and little David?

I?ve just seen this on the news www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-devon-19869879 I?m taking it as a good sign?.

Thanks for all the good wishses about my bounty of eggs (from my angel donor)...We had 15 embies on Saturday, havent had an upate on number since... Transfer tomorrow. Then the joys of the bench. Hoophopes · 16/10/2012 19:20

Hello pocket - 15 embies is great on Saturday, hope you get a good blast on board and maybe some to freeze. We are well, my ds seems to either have excema/food allergy right now so waiting for referrals and such like right now - but can't believe we are at the weaning stage. He learnt to sit up today - without any support for the first time. And yes, at 6wks old he was only 2.8mm!!

gingernutdreams · 16/10/2012 21:23

Mo, this process sure knows how to test you, taking you from the lowest low to the highest high! I sure felt emotional reading your recent post. I am believing in your little miracle fighter, and wishing really hard for you that your dreams come true and things are fine for you from now on. Take heart that we are all behind you, and your clinic sounds excellent!

Pocket, hope all goes well at the ET and you get some good quality blast and maybe some for freezing. Smile

Mini, also all the best for testing tomorrow, and you too TheCat on Thurs. Fingers and toes crossed for you both.

Frostie, hope all is well with the lining tomorrow and donor's EC next week.

Bugsy, welcome back from hols, but sorry about your news. Hope you are ok.

Hi to Sunny, Hoops, Teds, Lucy, and welcome back and good luck to Weller.

Me, I am hanging in there and looking forward to the weekend. I am just about managing at work, but could do with a rest. Will have to get that massage booked...

Chocolate Biscuit Biscuit all round!

bugsylugs · 16/10/2012 21:51

mo oh hun that is great news, we all believe in a miracle. Go mini mo take energy and strength from mummy.

pocket ooh so exciting hope ET goes great, great that you have time away hope it is somewhere lovely and relaxing. TV, DVD , walks talk music, shop no googling.

mini good luck for tomorrow I would never be able to hold out for a few days.

frosite good luck hope that lining is behaving

ginger you are doing really well the weekend is getting nearer.

teds so good to hear from you delighted the DTs are doing well and you are starting to get some sleep

Appointment today about MTHFR feels it is a red herring gave me evidence from trials. Please give me a kick up the backside to do my immunes.

Beginningofthejourney · 16/10/2012 22:01

Great news mo will keep everything crossed.

In the end I didn't need to worry about ec and surprise party as ec will be on Thursday now so got to dance the night away and woke up feeling smug as I wasn't hungover, not drinking isn't so bad!
Just about to do my final injection in prep for ec!

MoJangled · 16/10/2012 22:40

Lucy thanks for the intralipids info. I?ve never had any luck getting Healthcare at Home to take any notice of me! Maybe they have an agreement with argc? In the end I found Independent Nursing Services near Harley St, who have woken up to the rising demand for intralipids and will do them for £75 if you can get in to them. I finally managed to extract a prescription from my clinic and have got it set up for tomorrow.

Teds that?s a wonderful story, thanks so much. How far off were your friend?s dates and over what period did she catch up, do you know? And is her lovely baby any the worse for wear for his/her scary start? How fantastic to hear about your DTs, and that they?re letting you sleep! Those baby smiles just light up the world, don?t they?

Weller get that flu out of the way so you can be fighting fit for your cycle start in Nov? (My tip: dark chocolate and whiskey. Works a treat.)

Ooh Frosticle you?re entering the Big Week ? best of luck for your scan tomorrow!

Hoops wow to your lil one sitting up! How did that happen so fast! Good luck getting his skin sorted out. And thanks for the hope that we can replicate your small scan ?bouncing bubba story
.
Pocket sweetie, 15 embies sounds fantastic, everything will be crossed for lots of healthy blasts (and some for the freezer) tomorrow. Are you straight off on hols afterwards? Sounds like a good distraction for the loony phase!

Mini everything that wasn?t crossed for Pocket is crossed for your test tomorrow too! How are you feeling?

Bugsy here?s a hug and a (gentle, supportive) kick ? how about setting yourself a deadline to make one call re immunes? Once the ball?s rolling it?ll get easier!

Ginger I so wish you?d been given a chance at saving your pregnancy. The massage is a must! Do you think you?ll be able to take any time off to recover after this manic phase finishes, even if just a day to make a longer weekend?

Beginnings wow, good luck for EC on Thursday! This really is being quite a week!

I?m now on a huge steroid dose and feeling vaguely hopeful, buoyed up by Hoops and Teds stories, and ignoring the actual odds. DH is feeling guilty because he didn?t talk to my tummy for a week, thinking it was all over, and now thinks he?s been neglectful!

Two on board! BiscuitBiscuit

wellerbabe · 17/10/2012 15:39

pocket how exciting now feet up and chillax. You know it's out of your hands so don't stress too much (easier said than done I know ) and fx they stick! XGrinGrinGrin

MiniH · 17/10/2012 17:10

Sorry for the very slow reply, but it's a BFP! Still completely in shock I think. I have to confess I did a home test yesterday and just kept staring at those two lines. Seemed so strange to finally see them after all this time. I didn't want to say anything until I had it confirmed today though as wanted to make sure levels were ok. Just taking one day at a time as I know it's still a really long road but the constanting monitoring at ARGC is somehow reassuring.

Pocket that is great news. If you would like to take over my seat on the bench I promise it is suitably warm Grin

Mo so glad you've been given more drugs to help mini-mo along. Absolutely nothing wrong with being hopeful - that's all any of us can do and so many studies of things have shown that postive reinforcement can help. It certainly can't harm.

Beginning good luck for EC tomorrow.

Teds77 your DT sound absolutely perfect. So glad they are letting you have a little bit more sleep.

Hoops I can't believe David is sitting up. Where is the time going!

Bugsy suitably kicked Grin

Ginger I really hope you've booked that massage by now. You need some you time where you can relax and be pampered.

Sorry to anyone i've missed. xx

sunnyg · 17/10/2012 17:35

wooo hoo! mini that is the best, best news! A big congratulations to you. I know this time can be just as worrying, but do try to enjoy this fabulous news. Besides I think with ARGC by the sounds of it you are in very good hands. So, sooooooo pleased for you!

pocket fantastic news about your two on board. I hope your time on the bench goes swiftly!

mo I am really glad you are getting loads of drugs to assist mini-mo as well. I still believe in miracles!

Beginnings good luck for EC tomorrow and cat fingers crossed for test day tomorrow as well - waiting for more good news from you.

Frosticle hope scan went well?

bugsy I sympathise with the procrastination. We are still umming and aching about our next steps and just can't seem to make a decision. It seems easier to not make a decision than actually bite the bullet.

ginger yep massage time. I was a big ball of knots too after my MC and I think it's just all the built up emotion. I hope you can get one in soon.

fabulous, fabulous, fabulous news mini. Keep it coming ladies!

Hello and big hugs to everyone else oxo

Do not stop believing

Pocket1 · 17/10/2012 17:44

Mini that is really really fab news. Go Mini Mini go X

TheCatSofa · 17/10/2012 17:58

Woohoo!!! mini great news!! Very happy for you!

I'm so nervous about testing I don't want to do it, feel like I'd almost rather live in limbo. Aaack!

BadgerFace · 17/10/2012 18:14

Hurray Mini!!!!! I know what you mean about the two lines. The first thing I said when mine came up was "I've never seen one of those before" in complete disbelief to DH.

Mo I posted yesterday but it seems to have got lost in the ether. It simply said, Wow, just wow. I have everything crossed for you and I believe in miracles. Especially on this believing thread.

Pocket exciting news on your two on board - go Mini-Pockets go!

Best of luck to Cat tomorrow on testing and Beginnings on the EC.

Hullo again to bugsy and waves to sunny and the rest of you. Frosticle how's the lining?

gingernutdreams · 17/10/2012 18:45

Mini I am thrilled for you, fab fab news!

Pocket great news also with your two on board! Sending sticky vibes your way and hope your time on the bench passes without too much stress and worry. Try to relax and distract yourself as much as poss.

Good luck to TheCat and Beginnings, am keeping positive for the both of you for your test and EC respectively.

Mo glad you are feeling hopeful and that all the positivity is helping. It seems miracles do happen, so why not for you. I believe.
As for your question to me, could I take some time off after this nightmare week? Well, not right away, as my colleague with the terminally ill Mum is off still, but I have 2 days hols to take before Xmas, so should be able to squeeze in 2 long weekends with any luck. Feel like I could do with a months rest at the moment, but booking that massage will be a start.

Bugsy, Mo is right, setting yourself a deadline to make that call is a good idea, it seems like such an uphill struggle, I know, but it could be well worth it.

Sunny, thanks for the well wishing and urging me to get a massage. I hope you and DH? DP? (sorry, bad memory) can find the courage to bite the bullet and make that decision. I know precisely what you mean about wanting to put it off, but I think it will be a load off both of your minds once you decide on a course of action that's right for you. Hugs.

Waves to everyone else! Smile

Hoophopes · 17/10/2012 19:39

Mini huge congratulations to you.
Mo great you got intralipid prescription - and wow at price, Healthcare at Home charge nearer £400 now (they put the price up recently!!).

Bugsy - immunes seem the next step, so doing the tests will help you rule things in or out!! Let us know when you called them Grin

lucylookout · 17/10/2012 19:42

Congratulations mini! Fab news x

MoJangled · 17/10/2012 20:38

Mini Grin Grin Grin That is THE BEST news! Well done you! What is your hCG level?

Pocket and the Pocketlets brilliant! Hope you're primed with batteries of relaxation CDs, positive reading material, comfy sofas, lots of water and the remote! Did you have any to freeze? Everything remains crossed xx

Beginnings good luck for a bumper harvest tomorrow!

Cat I know exactly how you feel - if you don't test it can't be over! But on the other hand, if you don't test you can't get that lovely BFP... Very good luck and bon courage

Ginger in all honesty I think you might need more than a couple of long WE's between now and Xmas. Let's not under-estimate what a toll this can take. Hope you're being nice to yourself through all the work stress. Maybe your doc could sign you off for a few days? But I expect you'll say that you'd just worry about leaving everyone in the lurch at work and I do know what you mean - but if you're still feeling tired, distracted and tearful perhaps you should consider it. ((hugs to Ginger))

Thanks Badger ! Smile

Hoop yeah I don't know how Healthcare at Home - and the others, incidentally - can get away with what they charge, the intralipids themselves cost £23! The nurses at the place I found are very indignant about it!

Bugsy and Sunny sounds like you're both heading in roughly the same direction with exploring immunes - perhaps we need a weekly update slot for you both? (In a supportive and non-naggy sort of way)

Well intralipids done, extra steroids taken, nothing more I can do for a while apart from believe, so that's what I'm doing, and thanks to you all for believeing with me xxx

bugsylugs · 17/10/2012 21:29

Mini so fabulous congratulations
Cat thinking of you tomorrow those lines are waiting
Beginnings ec very exciting here's to a great hoard and lots of relaxing meds
Pocket go lo's go

TheCatSofa · 18/10/2012 07:46

. pocket great news! Well done!

mo great u got your intralipids, now relax and will little pup to grow!

beginngings good luck with EC. Get lots of treats and books and put your feet up!

So... Bit of an ambiguous result. Tested a day early using test the hosp gave me. Got a fairly faint positive result which faded fainter after an hour. Don't have any more tests. I am not sure what to think now! Will have to test again tomorrow..

MiniH · 18/10/2012 11:41

thecat general rule I think is a line is a line! In case it helps, my line on the test was lighter than the control line, but when they tested blood level yesterday the amount was fine. Keeping everything crossed that it is a positive.

Have just spoken to clinic about my terrible bloatedness at night for last two nights and they think may be slight ohss kicking in so am off to gulp down lots of water and protein. I have been having my 2l but heavily weighted to earlier in the day so would explain why I only feel terrible at night. Would be so good to have a fixable answer to that as two nights of terrible pain is not exactly restful!

Hey to everyone else reading. xx

MoJangled · 18/10/2012 12:09

Cat I believe what you have there is a BFP! Keep the faith and test again tomorrow - the levels go up each day. Congratulations! xxx

Mini OHSS oo-er, not what you need, good luck controlling it and hope you can get back to resting and looking after MiniMini

OP posts:
BadgerFace · 18/10/2012 12:56

Cat a line is a line is a line - yeah!!!

Mini I hope the increased water intake helps, not a nice feeling (and I hope that you don't progress to the stage of being told to wee in a jug... Grin)

Scrummybump · 18/10/2012 13:12

mini fantastic news! Well done and try not to stress too much in the next couple of weeks with the clinic tests.

mo I couldnt believe it when I read your news. That's amazing and I have everything crossed for you

pocket congratulations on being PUPO!

sunnyg · 18/10/2012 16:43

cat as the others have said. A line is a line my friend, and so that is fantastic news. With my BFP my initial test was also so faint I was driving myself mad holding it up to all sorts of different light, putting it next to things to see if that would make it clearer, but a line is a line. I'd also recommend getting some of the digital tests, and try using those every week or so. They show you '1 week +' , '2 weeks +' etc and makes you feel more confident that you are progressing as you should. Really, really great news.

mo great news you've got the intraplids done. What a difference in the price, will have to remember that if we need intrapilids in the future.

mini I hope the bloating goes and you start to feel better so you can relax and focus on mini mini. When are you back to the clinic for more testing, monitoring etc?

beginnings hope EC went well today?

pocket hope you are settling into the bench!

Thanks ginger and all for the willing on. I feel we are edging closer to a decision. Actually today sent off forms to ARGC (is it possible that I could be another ARGC graduate?!) for initial consultation. That's a big step as scrummy and mini will know I've been thinking about ARGC for some time now. To be honest, I'm not sure if yet if it's even financially possible, but have made another step in making appointment with bank for next week to see if remortgage even possible. Shall know Monday. Never thought we'd be remortgaging before children, but then again I never thought any of this would happen, as I'm sure you all understand! And then ironically, letter arrived yesterday from Barts for initial consultation for NHS. This is also good news, but not really holding my breath about the NHS. It's taken 4 months to just get the letter, and we are not even on the waiting list, which I've heard could be another 4-6 months or longer. And of course there's our previous clinic to throw in the mix. I wouldn't be egg-sharing again as although no regrets, I feel I really just want to focus on myself for the next cycle. So as you can see it's quite hard to come to a decision, 3 all very different options. I know I'm lucky to have options. So we'll go to our Barts appointment (on the 29th), why not, we've waited long enough, and hopefully ARGC will come back reasonably soon with an initial consultation as well, and then we'll see how generous the bank is feeling and we'll go from there. So edging we are.

Sorry for long ramble!

Fantastic news cat!!!!!

waves to scummy, badger, bugsy, Hoops, Italian, weller, frosticle, lucy, teds, lissy and sorry to anyone I've missed! oxox
