Morning all,

school my nausea/sickness was worst carrying my son x

Moominsarescary · 01/07/2012 13:17

Not af, I'm 7 weeks pg today.

Anyway had no more blood so far and feeling sick again. Will phone doctors tomorrow and see if I can get an early scan

StateofConfusion · 01/07/2012 14:43

Big squeeze for moomin there are many on here who had a bleed and then a healthy pregnancy, I had some breif spotting and still going ok xxx

JaffaSnaffle · 01/07/2012 15:16

moomin, fingers crossed it is nothing sinister. Good bees that it has stopped again. Don't read too much into the sickness. I think it is common for it to fluctuate. Mine used to come in waves, with nothing on some days and quite bad on others. Definitely get to GP for early scan referral to put your mind at rest. X

JaffaSnaffle · 01/07/2012 15:17

Good news, not bees!

DonkeyTeapot · 01/07/2012 15:30

I like Good Bees :)

Afternoon everyone! Brilliant news ted - congratulations!!

Fingers crossed everything's fine moomins - sounds as though things are settled again.

I've been madly symptom spotting - Friday/yesterday had very tingly boobs - I never get that normally, not even with pregnancy earlier in the year so started to get a bit excited. Wake up this to bloody stupid bloody blood! Argh!!! Holding onto possibility that it might stop as suddenly as started and so be an implantation bleed (I ovulate a bit earlier than most - or at least did before mc) so it'd be about the right time) but know deep down that it's a variation on af and I'm still not "back to normal" yet. Boo!!!

(On the plus side was stupidly horny yesterday so glad it started today and not yesterday Blush )

I agree with jaffa my sickness and nausea is variable, and has been with every pregnancy x

pebspop · 01/07/2012 18:51

school i asked my consultant about the cant carry girls/boys thing. she said it's not a 'thing' so i wouldn't worry about it. have you had chromosome testing on the baby after erpc? they will tell you the sex if you have. i have had a mixture of boys/girls. theres nothing about it in lesley regans book either.

hope you get sorted with the clinics you are ringing tomorrow. raj sees private patients on wednesdays. the first time i rang was a monday and they had appointments that week.

moomin hope you get an early scan to put your mind at rest.

tedmundo · 01/07/2012 19:35

moomin .. I am sorry I misunderstood your post and assumed you meant Af. Let's hope you get seen at the epu very soon for a scan. Good luck.

Jollyb · 01/07/2012 20:22

moomin hope they can fit you in quickly for a scan and that everything's ok for you.

ted many congrats.

I'm definitely out. AF (can't believe am using that term) has arrived two days late. Here we go again!

wilderumpus · 01/07/2012 20:30

sorry moomin! I am not keeping track with people at all, must look at stats thread! glad you are preggo and not ttc (sorry am thick and forgetful) and DON'T come on any cycles with me and pebs! you are BANNED! sure all is ok lovely x

you can come though jolly. sorry AF (!) got you.

good luck cheap

kirrinIsland · 01/07/2012 20:53

Fingers crossed for you moomin - good news that it's stopped. Hopefully you can get a scan tomorrow xx

tedmundo congratulations - that's great news Grin

Moominsarescary · 01/07/2012 21:03

Thanks everyone, yes I looked back at my post and it wasn't clear at all

No bleeding since and sickness has returned. I'm wondering if the blood could have anything to do with the incompetant cervix, maybe it's easily irritated I dont know. It's certainly felt different since loosing Jacob.

Anyway I will still try and get into epu other wise I will just keep worrying about it.

Sorry about af jolly fingers x for you pebs and wilde and every body else ttc that this cycle will be the one.

orangebowl · 01/07/2012 21:58

pebs you have so many answers! (although that is probably a bad thing as means you have been through all this already I guess). I didn't know they could test chromosomes after ERPC. (think that would make it feel a bit too "real" for me at the moment). But Yeah I did think that boy girl thing was a long shot.. Lesley regan book should be arriving tomorrow so looking forward to educating myself then. Hopefully if they have an appointment Wednesday I can take a day off and get down there. Will it matter that I still have all the pregnancy hormones in me? Will they take blood in that first appointment? Sorry I can ask when I call them tomorrow. Feels better to be doing something about it. I never was any good at the wait and see, take what comes, even if I am having no impact I feel better for trying!

Night night all. X

JaffaSnaffle · 01/07/2012 23:39

I have been having a mixed day, house moving woes started it off. Then I got really upset about the baby I miscarried last summer. My little boy. He died at some point in July, and I will never know when. We didnt find out until August. there are some days when I am so sad he is gone. He would have been nearly 6 months old now. I still feel his loss. I don't know if it will ever change.

Then my little girl decided today was the day she was going to give me her biggest kicks ever. My DH could feel them for the first time. She is wonderful and here and kicking away.

I am so torn. I think I need to go to bed.

moomin I hope you get an appointment tomorrow and some good news.

pebspop · 02/07/2012 07:46

School they do take blood on first visit. See what they say about pg hormones I waited a few weeks I think as I was really shocked they had appointments so soon. I went in may and my Erpc was in march. Probably waited about 5 weeks.

You can have chromosomes tested on nhs on third mc. It rules out any problems the baby had. Its what they mean when they say it was one of those things. I had it the last two times and the babies were fine so it wasn't one of those things.

Hope you get sorted. Keep posting and leg me know what happens

backwardpossom · 02/07/2012 08:35

Big hugs Jaffa, I hope you're feeling better today x

pebspop · 02/07/2012 09:06

hope you are feeling better today jaffa. i think being pg after mc if such a rollercoaster ride.

dh doesn't really want to get on the rollercoaster again. we will be ttc this cycle but i know how he feels. it's just one big nightmare of worry and panic and hospital appointments until it all ends in tears. got a good feeling about the next one but bloody hell it's hard to go through the motions.

i think it's about £1000 to see raj rai and get all the tests done.

this is where i saw him:
www.92harleystreet.com/

i had had most tests done on nhs so didn't need to pay for them all again.

he is mainly interested in blood clotting factors. there is a new theory about natural killer cells which some women have and they reject the baby. raj rai doesn't test for this and i haven't been tested for it either but a lot of people on the miscarriage board have been tested privatley and gone on to have babies. i think you need to see siobhan quinby or mr shehata for this test. i know there were blood clots blocking my placenta so i have stuck to the blood clotting tests.

fingers crossed you won't need to know all this though!
