Went to the hospital today, they did a pregnancy test which was negative, they are happy enough with me and have discharged me.

Bleeding is getting less all the time so hopefully it'll stop soon. I hope so because I've been horny as hell the last week - a bizarre feeling when I'm still reeling from a miscarriage. I'm not sure if it's because of hormones / ovulating again already, or because I'm reading 50 Shades of Grey. (I know, I know, but everyone else is reading it and it was cheap on Amazon so I gave in.)

ConfusedMumDotCom · 29/06/2012 17:55

Evening ladies.

Today I am 4+3 and the metalling has begun. I have a sore throat. This in itself is not that interesting, but with my mc I developed a sore throat at around 5 weeks. It got do bad at times that I was in tears. However as I was pg in February, I put it down to a winter bug. Now I'm not sure. My throat was at its worst when I was 8 wks, the time my baby died. Please tell me I'm being silly and it is down to lack of sleep/air conditioned office and nothing to do with my body gearing up to reject the baby. Sad I'm going on holiday tomorrow, so can't get to a GP till the 9th SadSad

Jollyb · 29/06/2012 18:20

You're being silly confused. There have said it. Pregnancy comparison is a dangerous business . Many congrats again BTW xx

StateofConfusion · 29/06/2012 19:04

confused I get cough cold and bad throat symptoms in early pg, and have a mental 4 and 3yo and 14+6wk bump all fine so far!
Your throat would have felt worse at that time as your body was run down, I remember feeling very ill at the time my baby would have died in my mmc, don't compare pregnancys and 'stop being daft' xx

Hi ladies - have just flicked through the thread boy you all have been busy the past week - congrats to the bfps! And welcome to the new ladies (sorry almost impossible to name check on an iPhone!!) you are all in a great place here I haven't participated much in the past three months but have been loittering in the background and the help and advice, words of encouragement and help from all the ladies is fantastic.

Well I am now 5+4 and still in a state of shock - have made a note to book myself an appointment at the EPC from the end of next week but am a tiny bit afraid!

Trips to the loo have increased and OH has laughed and said sorry babe but I hope it continues and boy are my boobs sore Blush

Donkey I know what you mean with regard to 50 shades - have just finished the first book and told OH I was horny cos of the pg hormones lol

Confused stop being silly today you are pregnant!

Mumtum and goth glad to see you back online - you are in the best place here - you both had your mcs around the same time as me and I have proved miracles can happen fx!

Love to you all and have a great weekend x

Midgetm · 30/06/2012 17:59

Check you out State that's a mighty big number

I've just watched OBEM. Why did I do that?

StateofConfusion · 30/06/2012 18:40

I watched it last week midge cried start to finish Blush

15wks is a big number

Quicksie · 30/06/2012 20:48

Jollyb I had the same thing, first cycle was my usual length, second cycle was all weird, much longer and had spotting as well. I felt the same way as you, that it was buggered up in some way, but my GP said that for 3 months the hormones are balancing out again, and spikes in your oestrogen and progesterone do loads of interesting things! It makes you wonder how on earth anyone ever has a normal cycle!
DonkeyTeapot - perfectly natural I think, I was the same, felt very weird about it and I hadn't read 50 Shades of Grey! Again, probably those pesky hormones doing their thing...

It is lovely to hear the good news on here, it gives me hope so thank you. I can't wait for a BFP even though I know I will be metalling...How could I have been so worry free the first time?!

kirrinIsland · 30/06/2012 21:09

Great news state

No news here either. I always read what you guys are up to but don't seem to have anything to add myself! I'm now 21+3 and still metalling, but calming down a little for now

tedmundo · 30/06/2012 21:20

great news on the triple tests state. :)

midget I have not been able to watch OBEM since the mc in March... But possible may now be able to face it again..... Because I got a Bfp on Wednesday! I was only 10dpo so still really early but I have tested every day and the lines are getting slightly stronger.

Today, fooking hell, I am pregnant!!!!

Midgetm · 30/06/2012 21:45

Tedmundo that is fabmundo.

oo00PIXIE00oo · 30/06/2012 22:19

StateofConfusion · 30/06/2012 22:41

Dorita75 · 30/06/2012 22:58

That's brilliant news Ted Am very happy for you!

DonkeyTeapot · 30/06/2012 22:59

Great news State and congrats Ted :)

ConfusedMumDotCom · 01/07/2012 06:14

Hello from Turkey!

Congratulations Ted you must be due around the same time as me - end of February, beginning of March. (Although I won't work it out until I'm past my 12 week scan).

Great news about the nc results State.

Sorry not to name check everyone, wifi is hit and miss here and I'm on my phone. All ok here, if a little tired. DD slept very badly last night and has been up since 6 (4 UK time). Hopefully lots of swimming should tire her out for tonight.

As for me, my throat still hurts and has moved to my chest, so I have decided that I have a bug and am not allergic to bring pregnant as I had convinced myself

Thinking of you all.

Moominsarescary · 01/07/2012 09:40

Well the bleeding has started, and the sickness was suspiciously gone this morning.

Shitty

backwardpossom · 01/07/2012 09:54

Moomins :( xxx

Ted brilliant news!

I'm feeling very tearful today. I've been symptom spotting like mad (8dpo) and nothing. I'm going to be really gutted if I'm not pregnant this month, which I know is ridiculous as it's only my 2nd post mc cycle, but still... We're going to France next week and I'll either be pregnant or (more likely) have a period. Joyful.

tedmundo · 01/07/2012 10:00

confusedmum .. Yes early March is the EDD but I have never gone full term so who knows??!!

moomin .. So sorry AF got you. Thinking of you.

backward .. I was on holiday for my last AF and actually, it took a lot of the pain out of it for me. Drank lot of wine, ate anything and everything and actually once we got home, it was almost time to start the shagfest again. but anyway, let's hope it is not the case and you have to go to France and not eat their cheese and drink their wine ... God that would KILL me!!!

wilderumpus · 01/07/2012 12:22

congrats ted! was hoping you would pop in soon as I have been lurking on your other thread :) :) secretly been delighted for you.

bah moomins. come on a shiny new cycle with moi and pebs :)

backward I was sure this month was it for me, 2nd after mc and had so many symptoms but know it was fecking hormones being a post-mc bastard. Is not ridiculous if you have sex wanting to make a baby, to now think about it or hope for it would be most strange Wink

nowt doing here, cd4 so just chilling and is lovely not to be in the midst of swi/2ww. does my head in and I will need lots of strength to get through it all this month and know I might face a bfn. Am starting to get a bit pissed off (been trying off and on since last Sept with 1mc) and just want my baby now!

orangebowl · 01/07/2012 12:30

Hi everyone. been absent for a couple of days... Friday went into hospital for the ERPC (eurgh, hate the word) which was absolutely fine- everyone was lovely. slight tummy cramps yesterday but bleeding already stopped.

i spoke to one of the docs and she has given me a letter to take to my GP recommending they refer me to the recurrent miscarriage clinic in liverpool so that's one good step.

taking tomorrow off work to call Raj Rai clinic and the liverpool centre too and basically do some research.

so now to hope i dont get what happened last time i had ERPC- no periods for 6 months :(

ive been keeping up with all your updates.

confused sounds like it's a bug and not any kind of previous pregnancy link sore throat :) completely sympathise though- ive convinced myself that whenever i have morning sickness it is doomed as i have had it with all my miscarriages but not really with my DS. this also lead me to believe the reason for my miscarriages is that i cant carry girls (since isnt morning sickness suppoed to be worse with them?!). either way- all my silliness right there!

pixie congrats- first week over!

ted congrats to you too

moomins sorry :(

state fantastic news about those tests. 15 weeks most definitely a milestone- you are giving me hope and inspiration!
