All you need is a man, , ramekins and a batch of cheapo pregnancy sticks, and you're good to go! (Shag-capes and actual Sex optional)

The group is so successful that you can see the results for yourself in our graduates thread full of mamas who JSed their way to motherhood. Getting a BFP within a few weeks is known as "doing a kitten", and due to the secret and magical powers of the Just Shagging thread, this happens from time to time.

We have our own TTC language - EWCM is now known as "pant snot", AF is now "ERTD" (Evil red tide of DOOM!), OV is ovulation, and of course, JSing is Just Shagging!

Viroids is our name of choice, the reason is long since lost in the annals of time. If you really feel the need to take a test, Gu Ramekins are what all the classy birds are using. And of course, drinking is essential. Sometimes, we even remember to have sex

top I thought the pant snot meant that ov was imminent.....sperm survive longer than eggs so the pant snot helps the sperm along so that the swimmers are ready and waiting when the egg arrives

One of my mates has just told me she's about to start ttc, I really (in an utterly selfish way) want to get a BFP before her. Which makes me feel like a shite friend (she doesn't know we've been trying for 5 months).

horse I completely understand how you feel about that and it doesn't make you a shite friend at all....you've been TTC for a while and it's your "thing" now - it would be totally rude of your friend to swan along and get a bfp before you!

I have been thinking that i'd keep a bfp secret from my friends for as long as possible. I think it's mainly about wanting to experience it 'my way' (singing optional!)...without everyone offering words of wisdom and "oh I remember that symptom" or "my sickness was much worse" or whatever it might be. Not that my friends are particularly like that, but still.

Totally understand horse Ive been trying since Jan 2011, had 1 mmc in dec, and best friend starts TTC recently. Falls preg within 2 months. 2 months and she's 13 wks now. Dont get me wrong im really chuffed to bits for her, but im a little sad for me. Particularly as my due date would have been the end of this month but im no further on. I should be waddling around, complaining im too big. I try not to let it get me down but sometimes you just see preggo people everywhere and you cant help but feel a bit, why not me.

I dont think im gonna get my bfp this month despite our sterling efforts this month. Just arent feeling the vibe. Not that I have before, but just preparing myself so im not disappointed.

weird to think this time last year i was in the early stages of pregnancy. i miss the puking and the spots and the greasy hair and the sore boobs and the tierdness but i dont miss the constant peeing hah!

I am being ridiculously impatient. Only came off the pill last Sunday but I'm wanting to POAS and all sorts to "check" that I might possibly be OVing. Of COURSE I'm not, I'm only CD 8 and shouldn't even contemplate testing until at least Monday.

Welcome Alwyn, if you feel like testing do it, believe it or not 70% of women ov before cd10 and after cd17 which doesn't leave a great deal in the 12-14 window, because my cycles were irregular/long I started testing on cd10

based on pant snot horny feeling crampy back and tender boos i didnt ov until CD20/21 this month! am now CD26 so for some people OVing on day14 and having a 28 day cycle is bollocks!!

That's the thing pinkie, I have no real idea of what my "proper" cycle will be. Maybe I should just buy a load of sticks from ebay and pee away!!

Yeah I would Alwyn I was quite lucky picking up my lh surge last month as the cycle before i ovd cd28! Just had a 'feeling' I was oving earlier than usual due to ragin horn emo mess cramps and ewcm! Was all worth it to see that positive result tho

That's it something! Still in a bit of shock! Alwyn I always used opk at 2pm which seems to be the recommended time a s made sure I hadn't been loo for 4hrs before so it wasn't too diluted

im such a hormonal wreck just cried at the end of gavin and stacey and someone i dont even know attened someones baby who i dont even know funeral today and i cried at that. i even cried at william 30 last night. WTAF?

I think any baby's funeral would make us all cry not right at all

my friend posted about the baby who was on a vent in itu and was told only had 48 hours left. she died the next day she was 7 weeks

And today i woke up with period pains... im gutted totally gutted. i know its not over yet but i dont think now that this was my month. i was so convinced i really was. fingers crossed this is implantation pain not period pain.

hmmm yesterday i had cereal a pack some chicken nuggets and loads and loads of sweets and then i made chilli and rice and had 2 servings a few hours apart and a youghurt and some buiscuits and then a bacon sandwich at 2 in the monrning.
