Confused by all the TTC talk? OPKs? Taking your temperature?! Then this is the thread for you! We want babies the good old-fashioned way - through drunken, spontaneous shagging at any time of the month Grin. All you need is a man, Wine, ramekins and a batch of cheapo pregnancy sticks, and you're good to go! (Shag-capes and actual Sex optional)

The group is so successful that you can see the results for yourself in our graduates thread full of mamas who JSed their way to motherhood. Getting a BFP within a few weeks is known as "doing a kitten", and due to the secret and magical powers of the Just Shagging thread, this happens from time to time.

We have our own TTC language - EWCM is now known as "pant snot", AF is now "ERTD" (Evil red tide of DOOM!), OV is ovulation, and of course, JSing is Just Shagging!

Viroids is our name of choice, the reason is long since lost in the annals of time. If you really feel the need to take a test, Gu Ramekins are what all the classy birds are using. And of course, drinking is essential. Sometimes, we even remember to have sex Wink

Old thread is here if you want proof it works!

Thanks guys. I'm feeling a little perkier now. ERTD hasn't arrived properly, just a bit of light brown spotting, and no cramps at all, so I'm trying to tell myself that it'll be here tomorrow. I really don't want to get my hopes back up. And have bought a bug bar of dairy milk which is making me feel better!

NicolaHazel · 05/06/2012 12:57

Ah, Stuck, I am constantly crying at utter rubbish too! I'm putting it down to wedding stress plus hormone surge post-pill.

I do feel a bit daft though!

Sounds like you have a lovely DP though :-)

Persuasion · 05/06/2012 12:58

Obviously a big bar, I don't know what a bug bar is Confused

NicolaHazel · 05/06/2012 13:08

A bit like a bug bear, but not quite as irritating!

topbannana · 05/06/2012 13:10

Sorry to hear that persuasion :(

I cry copiously at ridiculous things all the time. Up until a couple of years ago I was a hard hearted cow more in control, so this change is slightly alarming :o Goodness knows how I would be if I did get pregnant Hmm

Persuasion · 05/06/2012 13:24

I'm exactly the same top, used to not cry at anything. This week I cried at men in black 3!

AmazeballsSuperFandango · 05/06/2012 14:39

so we are all emotional wrecks this week then :)

Kittenkatzen · 05/06/2012 16:22

Just popping in to join the emotional wreck club! Smile I'll cry at anything - films, songs, tv adverts! I admit to having a little tear watching the queen over the weekend too...especially all the old photos/footage.

Hope everyone who's feeling down perks up a bit soon x

AmazeballsSuperFandango · 05/06/2012 16:37

this made me cry like a baby

NicolaHazel · 05/06/2012 16:37

Goodness...aren't we an emo bunch?!

I've always cried easily at films, but not at other people's lives, like I am now.

Hormones have a great deal to answer for!

NicolaHazel · 05/06/2012 16:40

Oh dear...couldn't even get to the end of that, Amaze! (sobs)

AmazeballsSuperFandango · 05/06/2012 16:59

Its brilliant isnt it, imagine if that was you...
I would have either laughed the whole time like i did in my own proposal or cried like a baby.... as i have been since yesterday

NicolaHazel · 05/06/2012 17:00

I'd have laughed and cried, I think! Fantastic though :-)

topbannana · 05/06/2012 17:50

DH is obviously pregnant as he has just howled like a baby through that- thanks amaze :o

Persuasion · 05/06/2012 18:00

I saw that a few days ago amaze and also cried like a baby. I cried at the prince charles tribute to the queen a few nights ago as well! We are a soppy bunch!

Well ERTD is still playing games and hasn't really showed. Just some light brown spotting. I guess it'll appear properly tomorrow but the longer it takes the more I deceive myself I might still be pregnant yet. This is not good for my psyche. Whose side is my body on??? Hmm

Pinkie29 · 05/06/2012 20:38

What is it? I'm not watching cant reduce myself to tears I almost cried over a poorly dog earlier and thinking about buying baby stuff!

Persuasion · 05/06/2012 21:11

Pinkie it's a very cool wedding proposal, so happy crying!

Pinkie29 · 05/06/2012 21:11

Ah maybe later I'll have a look Smile

Persuasion · 05/06/2012 21:25

Ah pinkie just saw on the June thread that you got a positive! Cautious congratulations! That explains the crying Grin

RIBS · 05/06/2012 21:38

pursuasion you sure its not a little implantation gunk?? Its not over yet!!

Well done pinkie XXX Hope theres more to come over the next few days. me me me me, please please please

Im not looking at that link if its sad, as ive got a face mask on and dont want it to melt into my face. Such a pretty sight. Just to join in, I nearly cried at Peppa Pig this aft, when it was mummy pig's bday, and daddy pig said she was beautiful. FFS!! I wouldnt mind, im a hard faced cow most of the time. I reckon all good hormonal signs. I tell you what I cant think of a man alive who'd want to be stuck in a room with us all in this state!! Grin

Think the fertile time is over but still JSing anyway for good measure and keep momentum. Think ERTD should be due around fathers day. Will test on the Sunday if its not reared its ugly mug, DP is on a stag night on the Saturday, so he'l feel like crap. ha.

Pinkie29 · 05/06/2012 21:40

Thank you it's still a faint positive getting darker each day and doing a cb digital Friday or Saturday to see the words and how far along then will call it a BFP!! All very scary and exciting and exciting at the same time!

Maybe I won't watch it on second thoughts!

AWomanCalledHorse · 05/06/2012 22:20

Cautious congrats Pinkie, look forward to you doing a digital & giving you a proper congrats!

Amaze, if DH did that to me, I'd say no for shits & giggles...and it didn't make me cry. Damn this not being pregnant!!

DH & I had a bit of a sit down...and have decided on giving it a 'proper' try this month (with the ov. piss sticks) and then going back to JS. One of his mates has just had a 10lb(!) boy so we're both feeling a bit more broody.

somethingwittynot · 05/06/2012 23:06

i wathed that youtbue vid about two weeks ago and balwed like a baby!

lollypopsicle · 06/06/2012 01:00

RIBSGrin to mummy pig being called beautiful. I'd cry too, then slap myself for being a wally!

Well I'm fully expecting a crimson wave tomorrow. Get on with it :s

pinkie I'm sooooo rooting for you. Looking pretty 'positive' Smile why so tentative? If you don't mind me asking.

Pinkie29 · 06/06/2012 05:29

Thanks lolly Sad tbh I've no idea as I've no reason to be worrying about things so much I do suffer quite badly from anxiety tho, fear of unknown and whats ahead? And I think I'm still in shock at a faint + after just for cycles Smile
