kirrinIsland · 25/04/2012 22:27

countrymouse Grin I had a homemade map of the island complete with ageing tea stains and read the books over and over.

Jaffa I'll be thinking of you tomorrow. Got my fingers and toes crossed xxx

StateofConfusion · 25/04/2012 22:48

Good luck for tomorrow xxx

TitsalinaBumSquash · 26/04/2012 07:18

Morning Smile

I have spent the night throwing up, what can only be described as whole food, no sort of moisture, was bloody painful.

It's dp's bday today, I'm struggling to find any cheer, however I'll attempt cake baking today at some point. I'm going to go for a rainbow cake I think.

On another note my boobs are so sore today I think even wearing a tshirt will be uncomfortable, sadly I think it's frowned upon to walk around nekkid Grin

kirrin I was the hugest ff fan, I was always do cross that my holidays never involved any mysteries. I did cut all my hair short and act like George for a few years though Grin

Much love to all.

StateofConfusion · 26/04/2012 07:48

Aaaaargh!

Woke up to dp in the bathroom and I needed the toilet, my tummy now hurts sooo bad, who thought needing a wee could do this to me.

Anyway! Morning all, hope your not metalling to bad --like I am--

MarthasHarbour · 26/04/2012 09:16

tits whenever i hear of the FF i always think of Dawn French et al in 'Five go mad in Dorset'. Showing my age here but it was a Comic Strip satirical spoof of the FF in the early 80s. Dawn F is George and there is a scene when she is in the tent and all you can hear is her talking to her dog:

Dawn F: 'Timmy [dog] you are so licky'

Jennifer Saunders voice: 'You shouldnt let him do that - it is soooo unhygenic'

Grin Grin Grin

MarthasHarbour · 26/04/2012 09:18

jaffa is your scan today? masses of fingers crossed xxx

TitsalinaBumSquash · 26/04/2012 09:24

Thinking of you jaffa Smile

I lurve Dawn French Grin

MarthasHarbour · 26/04/2012 09:45

I think French and Saunders (and Lumley) are the funniest women in the world!

I have aspirations to be Eddie (could never be Patsy as i love my food too much!)

MandaHugNKiss · 26/04/2012 10:51

Oooh, marff I could be Pats! We'd be ab fab, wouldn't we? Grin

Holding you in my thoughts jaffa

I actually did have two big pain au chocolate for brekkie today so it would be very wrong to have more... I shall have some fruit. Thanks tits And sorry to hear of the sore, uh, tits (poor DP won't be getting near them, eh? Even though it's his birthday (Happy Birthday MrTits)). Although hopefully it all means Good Things!

JaffaSnaffle · 26/04/2012 10:56

One little baby, measuring 12 weeks. Doing little leaps! No obvious cause of the cramps. I cried from relief, and had to go and hide in the loos so I didn't freak out the others in the waiting room. I have got this far before and mc, but 12 weeks feels like something to be happy about.

I woke up at 4.30 last night and couldn't get back to sleep, have a stinking cold, red eyes, but walking around in this weird sunny/rainy/ windy weather feeling surreally pleased with the world.

MandaHugNKiss · 26/04/2012 11:08

Wooooo! This isn't the done thing on MN, I know, but I know it's not possible that I'm feeling as relieved as you, but when one of 'ours' posts stuff that could potentially be bad... and I feel sure it's ok -so say as much- I then worry I've done the wrong thing in being reassuring just in case. So when you having your nuchal/regualr tweleve week scan?

Tennerlady · 26/04/2012 11:09

Jaffa so pleased for you love it when things go right x

MumTumWanted · 26/04/2012 11:10

Noel's still sore but sickness disappeared so metalling is full steam ahead ....

MumTumWanted · 26/04/2012 11:11

Noels ?!?!? Meant Norks!!!!! Blush

TitsalinaBumSquash · 26/04/2012 11:33

Lovely news jaffa Grin

I'm sitting in a packed drs waiting room, mentioned sickness to mw who has sent me to the gp Hmm she is still fretting over my urine sample or summin.

blackcatsdancing · 26/04/2012 12:12

its 3 months since my ERPC and today got my 4th AF since op (counting post bleeding as 1st). Feeling pretty down. I got pregnant last time 2nd month of trying so this time its longer. Age is very against me- 44 now. Having blood tests on Monday to check hormones (providing GP agrees). That's it really, just feel full term pregnancy is highly unlikely to ever happen

blackcatsdancing · 26/04/2012 12:14

i meant counting post op bleeding as 1st.

I see someone had a good scan, congratulations!

sunshinesue · 26/04/2012 12:31

Brilliant news jaffa!

Noels ?!?!? Meant Norks!!!!! blush - ha, quite appropriate I think, I stuggle to think of a bigger tit than Noel Edmonds!

sunshinesue · 26/04/2012 12:32

farfallarocks · 26/04/2012 13:05

Yay jaffa!!!

More good news here too,all was well at the scan today, low risk of downs and the little bean was wriggling around like mad. Grinning from ear to ear and can;t quite believe it :) 12+5

BottleRed76 · 26/04/2012 13:26

Marking my place.
Been hiding under a mountain of study but assignment is now finished so normal life can resume!

TitsalinaBumSquash · 26/04/2012 13:58

Huzzah! For another great scan Grin

I am home now with super strength antibiotics "incase it's a uti" and some anti sickness pills. Hopefully things perk up a bit. Smile

MrsPear · 26/04/2012 14:09

Hi can i join please?

I managed to join the wrong thread earlier and someone pointed me in this direction!

I need a little calming. I have just tested and it is positive. Trouble is i can't be. For start i used a 99p shop test as i wasted money last month on a negative. Secondly my history goes like this mc, baby at 30 weeks (ok but has hearing loss) and then mc.

Help

Poppyjen · 26/04/2012 14:28

Jaffa and Far - Hooray!!! Congratulations to you both Grin

Mrs Pear welcome, you are definitely in the right place here - hope you find the same wonderful support I and so many others have over the past few months...We all understand how wobbly you must be feeling
