About to start TTC#2 - does anyone want to come along for the ride?

So, DD is going to be 3 in June and I'm going to be 38 two weeks later. About a year ago I wanted a 2nd DC but DH didn't. I then changed my mind at Xmas.

DH has now changed his mind and persuaded me so finally we're in agreement and ready to go.

CD1 is due this week and then we can start.

Is anyone else ready to TTC#2?

so here is my previous cycle length, newest to oldest -
26 days
23 days
26 days
31 days
24 days

so i def think i need to use the CBFM to find out when i'm ovulating.

what do you make of those cycle lengths though?

Oh yes. Or you could just use ov sticks which are cheaper.

How do I work out my luteal phase? Am out of touch with all this TTC jargon......

I already have a CBFM and just bought some tests from eBay, so good to go.

According to my phone app which predicts when I am ovulating, in April it was 13 days, and 14 days in March. Is that good?!

That's perfect! 10-16 days I think is ideal. So I don't think your cycles are anything to worry about, I've not seen anything about the first part being too short?

i drank 2.5l of vodka when about 3 weeks pregnant with DS obviously i didnt know yet! hes come out fine

Feeling a bit sad today - have had a bit of spotting. Gone now, but I know from experience it's a slippery slope from here - 7 or 8 dpo

Am definitely going to see AF soon, I just cannot stop eating, happens every time in the 3 or 4 days before I start. Oh well, would have been a real miracle if I had got pregnant in my first cycle of trying.

Also got that lower back throb that i get before AF.

Oh sorry cheese... if it helps I've obsessively checked too, if its a bfp this month, my due date will be Valentines day!

If I'd got pg last cycle then my due date would have been my birthday at the end of January... :( What are we all like?!

Question, ladies. I've been thinking about trying to temp this cycle as Fertility Friend gets a bit cross with me just doing CM and OPK, but as DS is up and down like a yoyo at the moment with his teeth, and sometimes gets up at 6am and sometimes at 7am, is that going to cause more confusion than it's worth?

my due date would od been 18/11/13 a week before DS birthday!

SWI will start tomorrow night I think. You may have heard on the news today about the 27,000 from HP, well, I may well be one of them... So feeling a bit low and not much like SWI today. Just hope it's not me otherwise the idea of DC#2 will be completely out of the window!

I seem to be getting ewcm again today? Loads on Sunday so swi (twice) and thought thats it, we were done for the month but getting some today too...

AF was on the 9th May so on a 28 day cycle ovualtion should have been Wednesday (yesterday) but I presumed on Sunday it was early but maybe its actually late/today and Sunday was something else...

Oh wish it was clearer, like you developed big blue spots or something!
