Argh, and be welcome to our new pirate Fred. Be finding yourself a parrot and a wooden leg and hop on board for the trip of a lifetime. Argh.

Bring your own gas mask Grin

Blush @ stinky trumps. Even the cat is giving me dirty looks Hmm

FriendofDorothy · 15/03/2012 20:54

OOo sooooo much babydust in here tonight...

We have already managed to do the sechs and are sitting in bed.

I feel old!

CaveMum · 15/03/2012 21:09

[trumps in direction of Dor for daring to mention babydust]

Grin
sinkingflameofhilarity · 15/03/2012 21:13

Congrats!

I shall focus on developing flatulence for the next 4 days till testing. Am v proud of my self for going for a run again tonight, but perhaps now spoiling things by having a curry and glass of wine. Oh well.

bugs, I'm in the big northern city that's not Liverpool. Close enough for a jaunt to Chester zoo!

sinkingflameofhilarity · 15/03/2012 21:14

Given the mention of babydust, would now be a good time to add signature tickers to the end of our posts...

I thought not.

Northey · 15/03/2012 21:37

Congratulations, jools! Brilliant news!

The curry should help with developing flatulence, hils.

No sechsing here tonight, after an enormous row (conducted on a street corner in furious whispers as several of AMNH's colleagues strolled past). He has gone to the pub with them. I have returned home simmering with suppressed rage. Why on earth am I ttc with someone I could happily clobber senseless?

Today is a fucking shit day, and I can't wait for it to be over.

LauARRRRRaPalmer · 16/03/2012 00:57

We had (phone) rowing on the street tonight too, Norf. Angry. Sometimes I really want to throw in the towel walk the plank and start afresh bait the sharks.

ICs are indeed Internet Cheapies...TOM and I obviously won't be needing them anymore. Sad. PM me and I'll mail them off to you (had been looking forward to surprising you with them but you cheekily left off the return address!)

LauARRRRRaPalmer · 16/03/2012 00:58

Congrats J&B !

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 16/03/2012 07:03

Northey we had a big row last week that started about the toilet paper! and I thought much the same...I think it's natural to row and natural to question your circumstances when you do. Hope you were able to resolve things.
I feel rough :( going into work mostly so I can go to Dad's hospital appt about his prostate ca treatment options. Not sure I'll last til lunch!
j&b how you feeling this morning?! :)

OP posts:
Northey · 16/03/2012 07:37

Slept pointedly ad furiously on opposite sides of the bed hammock, but had a cuddle and a sechsing this morning. Basically he was ten minutes late to meet me for something. On other occasions I would have even exasperated but basically calm. I have no idea why I flipped out so much yesterday :o Sorry you had rowing as well, lau :(

feefee, I hope your dad's appointment with the ship's surgeon goes well. Is the roughness still from the uti? Those infections are fuckers.

jewelsandbinoculars · 16/03/2012 07:37

wooo! so much bountiful BESH nekkidness! ---- .

Thank you all so much my lufflies. It is so massively appreciated.

I am feeling menkul, but in a nice way. I wish I didn't have a work meeting this morning/unavoidable work to do this afternoon. But is probably good that I don't have option to dick around on google all day.

Sorry about the rowing. JJ and I had a phenomenal row in (far too quiet) pub a month or two back. We were the couple obviously hissing prolonged vitriol at each other and smiling too widely and casually at anyone who passed our table [cringe]. TTC, particularly once the anxiety has set in, just puts such an additional pressure on relationships. Hope things resolve soon. Here's a double dose of rum rations in the interim.

...Definitely promising!

Northey · 16/03/2012 07:39

Hahahaha at the pub rowing, jewelly. That rings so true.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 16/03/2012 08:04

Congrats J&B

This will be my nekkid dancing premier at 8am on a Friday morning. Well finally a use for the good old nipple tassles (that sounds quite scary if I am honest).

Well done for the shapping last night, this morning etc, yea wenches! How good was the zoo, dot? Northerly ladies, I love Chester, but am nowhere near there sadly.

No more menkulling here, spotting has started, waiting for flow so I can ring the clinic for cd3 scanning Blush please don't be during my appraisal... Sorry about rowing in the pub and on street corners. SB and I did rowing in a nice italian restaurant about things TTC related, when it was totally packed and the tables were about a foot apart. Definitely interesting/off putting to the people next to us. It all started with the famous red wine deluge... But last night we went to the pub and did drowning of sorrows and cuddling in a corner. It was nice. Despite SB saying he knew my period was coming because I was (and I quote) completely unreasonable. Well fanks.

Sorry about your dad, faith. And only do as much work as you can manage. I hope the UTI clears up soon.

Right I'll get dressed and get on with a bit of scrubbing the decks, as yea wenches all stayed up late fuming, dancing nekkid or maybe post sechs cuddling.

blonderthanred · 16/03/2012 08:47

Congrats Jewels! Nekkid dancing ahoy me hearties! Went to see a play last night with much nekkid dancing, must have been in your honour.

I haven't stopped menkulling since my BFP (used nearly the whole box of ICs now), if you need to vent there is a (v quiet) PESH thread. Hope you are right and this portends a spate of differs.

Droid turned up, now psyching myself up for calling the clinic...
Chilli snacks sound like the perfect reward!

CaveMum · 16/03/2012 09:25

FartWatch update:

Still lots of wind (feeling very bloated) but not as stinky Grin.

Not really sure if I have any other potential symptoms so far not for lack of looking.

Temperature is still up which is good, I'd anticipate a fall in the next 48 hrs if droid is going to visit.

[kicks lemons droid and twirls tassles one more time for jewels]

Northey · 16/03/2012 09:30

Farts sound promising, cavey :) When is droid actually due?

sinkingflameofhilarity · 16/03/2012 09:51

Geez. I never thought I'd spend my time hoping for uncontrollable farting.. The wonderful journey of TTC.

I shall save it all up and blow it all in the direction of drizzles droid . What's the cd3 scanning for?

Womble pains still on going. Clearly a sign of diffedness.

I'm a northwest girl born and bred bugs, but lived a long while in Scotland (and collected the ginger hairy jock) but came back about 5 yrs ago. I quite like it here too! What's Huddersfield like? Mums family are from Yorkshire (but don't let on), in fact from a small town not a million miles from you, but I don't really know the area that well

CaveMum · 16/03/2012 10:05

Droid is due Monday/Tuesday.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 16/03/2012 10:10

I did not know farting was a symptom - clearly SB has been diffed ever since he moved in... That must be why it is not working. Cd3 scanning is checking everything is calm before IUI...

We had a mini Break to Chester a few years ago. It was luffly and the zoo was ace. Only down side was we accidently picked half term. Never again.
Realised this morning I have underestimated how many cycles we have been ttc...tis more like 29. Not particularly helpful news...
Thank goodness it's lunch time and I can give up now. Lunch with old colleague then time to collapse. Might pop and see Dsis and DN. He's just got into.Toy Story so he'll probably show me how to fly!
Not sure I'd notice a difference with flatulence due to my ibs Hmm but will keep an eye out.
Dad's appt was fine. Prognosis is pretty good -60% chance of cancer free but even without treatment would be 10 years before it really affected him! Will start his radiotherapy in next few weeks I think.

OP posts:
Northey · 16/03/2012 12:45

Did he have radiotherapy last time, faith? How did he find it then? And three cheers and a ration of rum all round to celebrate the excellent prognosis!
