Argh, and be welcome to our new pirate Fred. Be finding yourself a parrot and a wooden leg and hop on board for the trip of a lifetime. Argh.
If ye be new and wantin' to join our motley crew, be filling in the BESHtionnaire application below. Argh.

  1. Do you like gin? (This is compulsory, you must say 'Yes')

  2. Men - are you a gold digger or a cradle snatching cougar?

  3. Baybee-making - to put a baybee in your tumtum, which hole do you use:
    a) weewee
    b) poopoo
    c) foofoo
    d) none, you just pray to the baby Jebus.

That's a "c", right there...

  1. Testing - when someone wonders if they should test for updiff (pg), do you:
    a) bellow 'POAS!' at them non-stop and punch them repeatedly in the kidneys till they wet themselves anyway.
    b) Sprinkle them with babydust and send them hugs and kisses on lickle baby angel wings.

  2. Is R2D2:
    a) an adorable robot from Star Wars.
    b) the source of all evil.

  3. Number of pets?

  4. Inappropriate (read: weird) crush of shame?

George Michael. He'd be off the drugs and on the straight and narrow ('scuse pun) if we ever met...

  1. Lesbian crush?

  2. What are your views on camping?

  3. How much money have you spent on sticks you then urinate on?
    i) Oh nothing, I'll probably catch first time and then get the doctor to confirm it.
    ii) Over 100 quid
iii) I opened an account on ebay solely for the purpose of purchasing sticks

Finally, tell us how you found the BESH and why you'd like to join us pliz.

Absolutely no need to apologise for the menkulling, as we've all agreed, I think any BESH will go through the process. All of us have waited so long, that you can hardly believe when it happens to you! You aren't the first and won't be the last! So pliz to stop apologising!
Hope the headache eases quickly bugs and you have a good few days

Good luck Kat!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 12/04/2012 16:07

If it's anything like my Dsis, she had her induction date but didn't actually get the meds to start the process until about 9pm so it may be similar with Kat, she may not have been in labour that long. Good luck Kat!
Well I'm officially a twat. Yup I'm so pissed off with myself I'm swearing. I decided to be a bit more active as you know I went the hospital to get a form signed for some money back from a payment scheme they didn't accept the first one I sent I got all the way to the ward to find I'd left the form at home. Annoying but not the end of the world. Had to go home and get. Then l went shopping. As I pulled up at the front of the house to get out the shopping (the parking is at the side) I went too far RL scuffed the bumper on the steps of the house next to ours. Waiting for MSB to come home and access the damage. Just hoping I don't need a new bumper. Bollocks! I'm such a twat! Angry

I missed Watchdog...he sounds a bit daft. Was he a victim?
ta bugs. Fortunately MSB thinks it's only surface damage. Phew. Has proved to myself I'm not ready to go back to work yet. I've been not very active today and I'm exhausted and very emotional. Back to GP tomorrow.

Mornin' all! How's be the motley crew today?

OP posts:
CaveMum · 13/04/2012 08:07

Morning Faithy, sorry you're not feeling quite back to your best yet. If it makes you feel any better on the car front, a few years ago I was in an accident in HWHNN's car (my fault, but the other driver was speeding) and caused over £3k of damage Blush

Still no ov here, stuck on 2 bars on the CBFM for the last 4 days and no sign of anything changing [brandishes cutlass at ovaries in a threatening manner]

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 13/04/2012 08:25

I tried cutting down my painkillers yesterday. Epic fail. Truly bad idea!
Re the car, MSB says we're even - he had an accident last June where he tried to overtake when someone else was overtaking and we lost the wing mirror and got a lot of body damage. I'm not sure we're really even since he had to claim on my! insurance Hmm
Come on cavey's egg! Pop already! :)

Morning. Eek at car traumas! I am so not ready for test if this is the sort of thing that happens!

FriendofDorothy · 13/04/2012 08:48

I cycled this morning ... even if it is only a very very short distance!

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 13/04/2012 08:53

Avast me hearties (enjoying it while I can!)

Still preggers, dot? And well done on the cycling!!

Oh faith you're just not well yet. Proven beyond reasonable doubt. (I scratched my dad's car quite badly after taking it out for a practice run a few years ago, still embarassed).

Good luck kat, hope you're snuggling a lovely new-born.

Done some work already Shock

FriendofDorothy · 13/04/2012 08:58

Yep - pissed on another stick this morning. Just to make sure.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 13/04/2012 09:07

92 posts! Is someone with a computer not me going to start the eurovision Fred?
Glad you're still diffed dor! Well done me hearty! Argh.
Managed to get through to GP on second attempt. It be a miracle :)
Avast, I'll be missing the pirate Fred. I be luffing pirateyness!

OP posts:
lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 13/04/2012 09:09

Aye aye, me faith, will be missing it too. (And me being much too newbie and uncreative to start the next one Wink).

And well done on diffed-staying, dor and pleased you are keeping the pee-sticks-business of your small island single handedly in business!!

Northey · 13/04/2012 10:25

Oh for heaven's sake don't worry about newness. Just start the damn thing. Like a breakthrough single for a new Eurovision act sort of boldness.

eurochick · 13/04/2012 13:43

Shall I step in then if you are feeling nervous, lemons? I don't think I have ever started a BESH fred. I am horribly uncreative but I shall try to come up with something. And I guess it is fitting for euro trash chick to start of the Eurovision fred?

FriendofDorothy · 13/04/2012 13:47

Gah. I have decided that I am menkulling far too much. I have a tight chest this afternoon and have convinced myself that it is nothing to do with the fact that I am coming down with a cold but it is something far more drastic!

I want to finish work and go home and lie down!

eurochick · 13/04/2012 13:57

Done. New fred is here:

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 13/04/2012 14:06

Go for it euro! Tres bonne. Eurovision seems to be consensus!
dor deep breaths, not long til home time. I'm sure it is just sniffles, that seems very common early on in diffedness.
I've got my.sick note sorted and combined with a visit to my friend from work who has a 9 month old. She knows we have ttc issues no gory details and was luffly and sensitive. A happy Mum but not rubbing it in my face! He is gorgeous just at the age where he sits and plays but doesn't move :) and he's very smiley and giggly. Should have seen him when the edf ad came on! Giggling like mad. Nice morning all in all.
