Argh, and be welcome to our new pirate Fred. Be finding yourself a parrot and a wooden leg and hop on board for the trip of a lifetime. Argh.
If ye be new and wantin' to join our motley crew, be filling in the BESHtionnaire application below. Argh.

  1. Do you like gin? (This is compulsory, you must say 'Yes')

    a) weewee
    b) poopoo
    c) foofoo
    d) none, you just pray to the baby Jebus.

That's a "c", right there...

    b) the source of all evil.

  3. Number of pets?

  4. Inappropriate (read: weird) crush of shame?

George Michael. He'd be off the drugs and on the straight and narrow ('scuse pun) if we ever met...

  1. Lesbian crush?

  2. What are your views on camping?

  3. How much money have you spent on sticks you then urinate on?
    i) Oh nothing, I'll probably catch first time and then get the doctor to confirm it.
    ii) Over 100 quid
iii) I opened an account on ebay solely for the purpose of purchasing sticks

Finally, tell us how you found the BESH and why you'd like to join us pliz.

Sometimes the ttc is so long and hard isn't it eur, that we lose sight of what we're actually aiming for? The miracle of life

I'm willing to take the blame over the BESHtionnaire in the OP! I'm far too nice to the newbies!

Things are a bit odd round here, I'm still getting 2 bars on the CBFM but the cheaply OPKs are not showing anything. Going to keep sechsing and hope for the best Grin

Had a very lovely surprise this morning - in the post was a very unexpected tax rebate. HWHNN and I had a bitnof a chat about what we could use it for, but he insisted that I spend it on myself and got something nice. So, I've just bought an iPad Grin it is luffly, I can see myself getting addicted to it!

So I'm hoping that what they say about things happening in 3s is true - I won a tenner on the lottery on Saturday and now the tax rebate, here's hoping that a baybee win is the next thing.

Northey · 11/04/2012 13:59

Ooh, congrats, cavemum. That sounds rather nice. Always good to have plenty of machines on which to google "itchy toe pregnancy symptom" etc.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 11/04/2012 14:28

I luff our iPad cavey. Definitely worth the money. But of course the bfp will complete your nice 3 of luck!

or are you lot out having a life? Don't expect a reply from Kat, I assume she's rather busy?!
Well I've had a nice day. Popped to see my Dad who is bearing up well considering his health issues. He's just keen to get his treatment started. He has Dnephew who aside from bashing my nose with his head - ouch! was being rather cute and snuggling up to me on the sofa :) Everything tires me out though! Couple of hours there and I didn't have the oomph to go to the shops. I thinking I'm sleeping too much, sleeping in after MSB goes to work so I'm going to try getting up just after he leaves. I really must go curtain shopping....

I am pinned under a sleeping cat and am going to be late for my driving lesson because I am putting off disturbing her.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 11/04/2012 17:53

Get up Northey! Off you pop :)

OP posts:
Northey · 11/04/2012 19:14

Hmm, not a great lesson. I am not what you would call a natural driver. I am only perservering because of the dream of one day strapping a baybee car seat in with me.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 11/04/2012 19:15

Fred not dead, faithy. I was having the real life that is called work Shock. Now I am having lemon and honey. I love nephews, but not their colds...

How did driving go, norf?

How's dot doing? Believe it yet?!

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 11/04/2012 19:17

X-post norf. The best people are not natural drivers, do persevere... It will be even harder to remove a sleeping baybee from your lap!

Any further on the next fred decisions? Can't believe I've been here for all of this one!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 11/04/2012 19:39

norf I wasn't a great learner, as I said it took me ages to master it but now after 13 years of driving I'd say I'm a pretty good driver, confident to do journeys on my own. After 3 years living in terrace student houses I finally mastered the reverse park!
Every car we look at buying I think about baby occupying the back seat. MSB would like an MG Midget Hmm

I am ok. Obviously I tested again this morning, and will no doubt test again tomorrow!

Have booked to see my GP next week so it might feel more real then.

Northey · 11/04/2012 20:13

Oh God, AMNH is full of the classic sporty two seaters he thinks we should buy. Still, until he actually passes his test we shall be having sensible cars with good storage space.

Northey · 11/04/2012 20:13

Ok, so if it IS Eurovision, can anyone think f anything funny to say about it? Funny and, crucially, attractive to potential recruits?

sinkingflameofhilarity · 11/04/2012 20:28

Hum.. I like the idea of Eurovision... But can't think of a funny opening line. Had a look through the Wikipedia list of prev winners, and there's plenty to work with, but considering I've not heard of most, I'm not sure it would draw e crowds..

Something to do with englebert humperdink?

I think I'm over thinking this.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 11/04/2012 20:38

I am worried the eurovision theme will only boil down to ....

sinkingflameofhilarity · 11/04/2012 20:44

Well faith, I'd say it's about time you're makin' your mind up

Chortle.

CaveMum · 11/04/2012 21:58

I could go for Eurovision theme. I can't speak German Italian or Spanish, so would rather not do another language thread Grin

More sechs was had this evening, but still no sign of ov [sigh]

sinkingflameofhilarity · 11/04/2012 22:27

Well.. Eurovision fred could be adapted for a bit of language fun for those interested (cavey I also can't speak much bar pigin French. And some might say pigin English)

Am approx 2 days post ov (estimated, so take that with a pinch of salt) and have sore boobs. Shurely a good sign, eh?

Cavey are you at least enjoying the sechs? Have to admit it becomes a bit of a chore by the end of what I decide is my fertile stretch. Not that I would dream of saying that to ghj of course..

CaveMum · 12/04/2012 07:06

Flamey yes at least the sechs is good, but like you say it can become a bit of a chore! I make the point of heading upstairs and changing into some sexy undies before HWHNN comes up. It might not be much, but I thinking makes the difference between making an effort and just getting on with it!

The OPKs still have me on the cusp of ov-ing, though the cheapy line looks a bit darker this morning. We'll probably take a sechs break today as HWHNN is back at work and if ov is not imminent I don't see the point in getting him to drive the 200 odd miles home.

Has it sunk in yet Dor?!

FriendofDorothy · 12/04/2012 07:50

Another test. Still pregnant. It still hasn't really sunk in though. I did have to tell my supervisor at work after she emailed me about some training she wants me to do in January.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 12/04/2012 10:00

Great news that the pee sticks continue to agree with you dor! I guess small steps like telling people I won't be able to do that, I'll be on mat leave Grin will help it sink in?!
I decided to try to stay awake after MSB left for work today thinking it was sleeping in making me tired. I proceeded to sleep in til 9am so I think it's the other way round! I did make myself shower before putting the tv on but am so shattered from the shower I crawled back in bed progress remains slow!
cavey I think you've done enough sechsing! Good effort

OP posts:
FriendofDorothy · 12/04/2012 10:07

Yeah I think small steps are the way to go. I am sorry for menkulling everyone. I am really happy but a bit anxious too.

I could happily crawl back into bed today!
