Argh, and be welcome to our new pirate Fred. Be finding yourself a parrot and a wooden leg and hop on board for the trip of a lifetime. Argh.
If ye be new and wantin' to join our motley crew, be filling in the BESHtionnaire application below. Argh.

  1. Do you like gin? (This is compulsory, you must say 'Yes')

  2. Men - are you a gold digger or a cradle snatching cougar?

  3. Baybee-making - to put a baybee in your tumtum, which hole do you use:
    a) weewee
    b) poopoo
    c) foofoo
    d) none, you just pray to the baby Jebus.

That's a "c", right there...

  1. Testing - when someone wonders if they should test for updiff (pg), do you:

    b) Sprinkle them with babydust and send them hugs and kisses on lickle baby angel wings.

  2. Is R2D2:
    a) an adorable robot from Star Wars.
    b) the source of all evil.

  3. Number of pets?

  4. Inappropriate (read: weird) crush of shame?

George Michael. He'd be off the drugs and on the straight and narrow ('scuse pun) if we ever met...

  1. Lesbian crush?

  2. What are your views on camping?

  3. How much money have you spent on sticks you then urinate on?
    i) Oh nothing, I'll probably catch first time and then get the doctor to confirm it.
    ii) Over 100 quid
iii) I opened an account on ebay solely for the purpose of purchasing sticks

Finally, tell us how you found the BESH and why you'd like to join us pliz.

Happy anniversaries!

lemons I am trying to do the same and also failing.

I can't remember when I last posted so I might be repeating myself. Anyway, Droid arrived on Sunday when I was at my BiL+SiL's place with their gorgeous toddler. I was surprisingly emotionally fine about it. I think being off the crazy lady drugs has helped my mood emormously. I find there is something every month that makes me think "maybe this is the one". this time it was a month of zero alcohol, plus being on holiday (the idea that the much hated "relax and it'll happen" might just work) plus getting my first cold since I started the immuno drugs (which might have distracted my immune system) was enough for me to think that I was in with a chance. Apparently not. On to cycle 18. Oh, and my body helpfully gave me a shorter than recently normal luteal phase of 11 days. Which is a problem because I am supposed to be having IUI this cycle and now I am due to ovulate at the bloody weekend. When my clinic is closed. FFS. I have just had two full days of meetings at work, but I am hoping to get the time to ring around and see if I can find another clinic in the next week and a half that can fit us in.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 03/04/2012 21:03

Thanks ladies. We had steak and chips to celebrate :)
drizz that was a virtually foolproof plan, cept you forgot you're a BESH! We lure you back in. The gin was an excellent plan. Going for irony!
euro it sounds like this rest from all the drugs was exactly what you needed..sorry it wasn't a win this time :( Hope you can get the iui timed right in the end.
I'm feeling rough tonight. Feel feverish again but no temp. Pain just got quite bad so dosed up on painkillers again. Each time I do anything much I end up so tired I feel ill again! On a cheerful note, inspired by the Fred I started 2 weeks ago about guilty pleasures I've ordered some dvds of films I used to luff and have on vhs: 10 things I hate about you, coyote ugly, bring it on, hairspray, never been kissed. It's a 90s chick flick fest! Can't wait for them to arrive!

Ok officially giving up the weaning of MN Wink.

How does MSB view your addiction to 90s chick flicks, faith? SB does not like them and we have a v small flat. So I have hardly watched any since he moved in... Hope you feel better today. It sounds a bit up and down still. Will you be checked by a doctor before you consider going back to work?

Glad you are feeling better without the crazy-lady drugs euro. But sorry about shitty AF and bad IUI timing. Good luck with finding somewhere else! (Should be possible, right?!?) Btw because they trigger us in my clinic, I found the big O is a day ahead of when I would normally expect it (cos they want to go in before the natural LH surge) so maybe that makes a difference... It does make our third IUI a challenge with hols. (And I am panicking about that already!)

Having millionaire's shortbread cravings is a pg-symptom, right?

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 04/04/2012 08:22

Working from home = working from MN is on the cards here too :)

Could the droid not come this month, bugs. Mine always makes an obliging appearance if we are having intentless sechsing...

Hey drizz MSB is not a fan but I'm poorly and here on my own all day! He's also planning to abandon me go to his sister's one day this weekend so I'll need alternative stimulation. His sister just moved into a disaster house! Honestly I'd never have bought it based on the survey but they went ahead Confused and since MSB is in the building sales game he is helping as much as he can! So I'm totally entitled to crappy films!
If you're in Lapland bugs I think I'm in Thailand during the monsoon season! Fair play staying at home.
I temped this morning but having missed a key two weeks few days it's a bit like connect the dots with half the dots missing! I am having fluttery, fizzy like feelings around my womble which is making me menkul though I expect it's just gas
Let's just make a pact for a Droid-less cycle this time.

Grin bugs were you leaning out the window?
Still lashing it down with rain here! Still not up. Might do it after Scrubs. Just so shattered and my hair needs washing which is making it all the more challenging to drag myself into the shower...

You're going to Cyprus aren't you? I can recommend Brandy Sours, a popular cyprus cocktail that I got pissed on many a time. Where exactly are you going again and what hotel? Cyprus weather is gorgeous in May. You will have an ace time.

Sorry about the stick though.

Am on my way back to my beloved (well, beloved until I see the state in which he will doubtless have left the house, at which point I will have to beat him to death), and looking forward to a good sechsing on arrival (albeit with same disclaimer as above re state of house). I WILL win a baybee this month. I will.

CaveMum · 04/04/2012 11:04

No snow to report here in my part of the world. We did have quite a bit of rain earlier this morning, but nowhere near enough. Hosepipe ban kicks in at midnight.

Still no signs of any egg-laying activities here. Getting fed up of this now [grumpy face]

Well I've managed to shower and wash and dry my hair. Progress indeed. Only contemplating straightening my hair...
bugs MSB would be delighted with that plan. I get asked at least once a week.
I'm tired of trying and failing with ttc. I'm even more tired of opportunities being lost stupid illness putting me in hospital!
Hurry up cavey's egg!

What happened to new dog, bugs?

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 04/04/2012 11:40

Well done faithy, very impressive washing and drying, no need for straightening!

I don't want a puppy, I want a baybee

Oh and I have cold feet (could be the cold snap, but hey) and feel a bit sick (could be those bits of millionaire's shortbread I ate, there were a few). I don't do menkulling, normally. But now... (How am I supposed to cope for another week?!?)

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 04/04/2012 11:41

What is the ETA @beloved's pigstye, norf?
Hiss boo to hiding egg, cave

About 1.30, citrus. He won't have had a shave either, I bet, and then all my current interest in a shag will evaporate while he has one and whistles an irritating tune during it, and leaves the sink in a horrid mess.

It's a miracle we ever shag at all.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 04/04/2012 12:13

Maybe don't wait for the shaving, and have a kiss-free shag? Don't talk to me about sinks (unless you've got tips on how to solve the issueS) Hmm

That is shit about the dog, bugs.
