Argh, and be welcome to our new pirate Fred. Be finding yourself a parrot and a wooden leg and hop on board for the trip of a lifetime. Argh.
If ye be new and wantin' to join our motley crew, be filling in the BESHtionnaire application below. Argh.

iii) I opened an account on ebay solely for the purpose of purchasing sticks

Finally, tell us how you found the BESH and why you'd like to join us pliz.

I'm here Faithy. Lurking as I don't have anything interesting to say at the moment. HWHNN is watching Avatar so I'm MN-ing with the cat curled up on my lap.

Glad you are feeling better, you've had a rough old ride these last few months.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 31/03/2012 21:53

cavey you not watching Avatar then? I thought it was a bit random...
It's very strange for me - I don't really have much to say since my world revolved around the hospital ward! Twas nice to pop out for a bit today. Zonked me though!
We hired Lie to me yesterday, tis very good. Same kind of style as House. I do enjoy watching box sets.

CaveMum · 31/03/2012 21:59

Avatar's really not my thing. I find a lot of James Cameron's work, like Speilberg, very self-indulgent.

Northey · 31/03/2012 22:35

I'm here. Was watching a documentary about Jonathan Miller and doing some serious thinking about my life direction, which has got a bit off course. Problem is how to bring it onto a new course in a manner compatible with ttc. I really REALLY want to discuss it with AMNH but I won't see him till Wed.

But in better news I have booked my driving test!

FriendofDorothy · 31/03/2012 23:50

Evening all. I have been out to see a folk band tonight and I am feeling knackered!

Lovely evening with The Mister but I am ready for bed! I feel so old!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 01/04/2012 09:57

You were up late dottie! That sounds like fun :) I went to bed shortly after I posted.
MSB has said today I'm paler than the cast of Twilight! Confused and that's no April fool so it's a quiet day for us. Might invite ourselves round to my sister's for a bit to see the munchie and have a cuppa. What are you lot up to?

OP posts:
HaveALittleFaithBaby · 01/04/2012 09:58

Oh and norf, do we get to know the date? Or are you keeping it secret like I did?!

OP posts:
Northey · 01/04/2012 10:07

End of April, faif. I'm not bein any more precise than that :)

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 01/04/2012 10:27

I only told close family. Much easier than confessing if you're not successful. Sure you'll be grand though!

Howdy bugs, that weekend sounds like fun! Sorry to hear about the bfn, like you say, at least you'll know either way soon. I would think I'm about halfway through the tww but hold little hope for this cycle and therefore the dream of a 2012 baybee drifts off into the sunset Hopefully I'll be well enough for sechsing when I am a fertile myrtle next cycle no chance at the moment

More pregnancy announcements on fb tonight. I should feel pleased as they are a couple who struggled with infertility for years and had one IVF win a year ago and are now expecting again. I just feel a bit raw tonight I think.

CaveMum · 01/04/2012 20:02

Evening all, hope you've all had a good weekend.

We've been pottering about the house, getting odds and soda done in the garden.
I had a wobble last night and spent half an hour sobbing on HWHNN about all this ttc malarkey Sad. He gave me a good talking to (in the nicest possible way) and told me we have it pretty darn good in reality : we're both healthy, in good jobs earning good money, and we're relatively young. I've just got to try and think more positively.

Northey · 01/04/2012 21:50

cavey! That sounds miserable. It's so hard to think positively sometimes, isn't it? I am finding it hard at the moment too. Are you ok now?

CaveMum · 01/04/2012 21:57

I am now thanks Norf.
I find that I have these moments every now and again and after a damn good cry I'm not perfect, but ok.

CD 13 here and sechs was had this afternoon, it was rather, erm, "frantic" shall we say. Was rather good Wink

Northey · 01/04/2012 22:12

Muchos congrattos on the sechs!

I shall be able to have some on Wednesday. I could do with some now. For comfort as much as anything else.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 02/04/2012 08:04

I've told MSB no chances til I'm at least off the antibiotics. Really don't fancy it!
How hard is it to call in sick?! My boss is so difficult to get hold of I've had to leave a message for him to call me! At least after this I can leave it til Thursday.
Lazy day of tv watching ahead methinks.

OP posts:
Northey · 02/04/2012 08:11

Poor faith. It's shaping up to be a nice day, so at least you can have lots of fresh air, even if it's just reclining gracefully by an open window.

You don't fancy my old favourite turkey baster action then? Probably not worth it if you know when you ovulate and it's not now.

CaveMum · 02/04/2012 08:16

Faith, hope you have a nice relaxing day.

CD14 here and all ov tests are still low/negative, so looks like I'm not on course for a "normal" (whatever that is!) cycle [sigh]

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 02/04/2012 08:34

norf any egg is long gone probably while I was in hospital! so it's not worth basting. Droid is expected Friday.
Well best keep sechsing cavey! You have quite long cycles don't you?
What you up to today norf? Driving?

OP posts:
Northey · 02/04/2012 08:53

Am visiting my sister for a couple of days. Trying to distract myself from my current massive life crisis... Next driving lesson on Wed!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 02/04/2012 09:11

Somehow I always imagined you as an only child norf. Not sure why? Well visiting her will be a welcome distraction I'm sure :)
I'm still in bed. Still waiting to hear from.boss. only contacting him out of courtesy!
Hey anyone else on draw something and want to play me?

OP posts:
Northey · 02/04/2012 09:41

I wonder why! Oh well. Am off for a long walk now, for physical and mental health reasons. I MUST be under BMI 25 by the end of the month, and I'm frankly eating enough to rocket me out of normal, through overweight and into obese by then unless I do something about it!

CaveMum · 02/04/2012 10:08

Who knows on the cycle front! This is my 5th cycle on Clomid and previously I've ov'd on Day 15, 16, 26 and 15 so I was hoping for around the same this time. With nothing on the OPKs this morning I won't be ov-ing till Day 17 at the earliest as I usually get 2 days of positives and then ov on the 3rd.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 02/04/2012 10:36

It must be frustrating with the clomid meddling with your ov date cavey :( This ttc lark is tough enough!
Well I've showered and washed my hair. Now I've collapsed in bed! One thing I miss about hospital is that they provide breakfast. Downstairs is sooo far away.
Enjoy the walk Northey. I'm sure you'll be fine weight wise!
