Should be running now :-( instead I'm laid on my hospital bed crying. Suddenly,I'm all why me? Why now? I know there'll be other 10ks but I really wanted to do this and I'm Angry that it's been taken away from me!

OP posts:
Northey · 25/03/2012 11:07

Poor faithy, you've had such a dreadful time lately that I'm not surprised you're tearful. I wish we could all come and visit you and soothe you. Well, distract you at any rate.

There will be more 10ks. Probably you won't even bother with them in future as you're too busy running marathons. Totally understandable to be crying now though and you will probably feel better once you've had a huge sob.

jewelsandbinoculars · 25/03/2012 11:09

It is so totally unfair faith. Of course you feel angry about it. I'm sorry.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 25/03/2012 11:27

Thanks. Nice nurse has given me a hug and an anti-sickness pill :) Talked to MSB too. I've asked the nurse to ask for a visit from the chaplain - I'm struggling to resolve everything that's happening with God. Think I need a nap now. Catch up with you in a bit. Thanks ladies.

OP posts:
Northey · 25/03/2012 11:29

Sleep tight, sweetheart. It will all be over soon.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 25/03/2012 13:13

Well I feel better for a snooze. Heard the time they ran it in 1h 20 minutes, very impressive! Apparently there's a 10k near here in June so I'll sign up for that one instead.

OP posts:
lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 25/03/2012 13:38

Good you are feeling a bit better, fee. Have you had a chance to talk to the chaplain yet? So sorry for all of it. Really hope they'll diagnose you tomorrow!

Hope you are okay too norf.

My follie has grown to adult size and I am triggering tonight Shock, and injecting yourself is weird but not that scary (practiced with water).

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 25/03/2012 14:17

No chaplain yet. Getting visitors soon, once they've been for pub lunch Envy jel on several levels: going to the pub, going on a sunny day, being able to enjoy the sunny day the windows are covered cos they're doing work outside and wanting to eat a meal!
Great news about the follicle drizzle :) what/when is the next step?

OP posts:
lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 25/03/2012 14:31

Lovely to have visitors, but I am Envy with you about the enjoyment of outside and pubbage. I just finished the poxy assignment and am now doing my reading for the course tomorrow. Enjoy their company and before long you will be on the mend again, faith. Hope you can have a good chat with the chaplain tonight too, so you feel a bit more at ease/peace with it all. My next step is iui on Tues and then no hospital visits for more than two weeks (blood test after 16days if droid does not make an appearance first, which I fully expect to happen).

Sorry about the 10k faith. I know how disappointed you must be. I missed a half marathon once because my knee gave up on me a few days before. All that training down the drain. :( Unfortunately, my knee meant I couldn't run again for years. You will be up and about in no time and can get back in training for that June 10k!

I've had a busy day so far - weeding the garden, planting fresh basil after getting rid of the old woody stuff, wading through the holiday washing, baking a cake. The cake is in the oven now and KFZK is making pizza dough from scratch as we are having a friend round for dinner and a catch up later and figured homemade pizza would do just fine as we are still both a bit jetlagged! I am hoping we can squeeze ina bit of swi before our guest arrives

FriendofDorothy · 25/03/2012 17:29

Oh faithy I hope you start feeling better soon.

I am feeling absolutely knackered today and have just been back to bed for an hour. I am going to Zumba shortly so I feel a little rest is justified.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 25/03/2012 18:39

dor you're always entitled to a Sunday afternoon nap! Hope it was nice and the zumba is fun :)
Right now I feel marvelous! that's the drugs talking pain got bad after lunch, am dosed up on painkillers now :) and MSB has just arrived.

Fred not broken, don't panic!

I've been lurking all weekend but have just been super-busy. We were at the races yesterday as I had a work's do to oversee. It was a good day, but did involve a 300 mile round trip [tired]

Today we vegged on the sofa a lot (ok so maybe I've not been that busy!) and now that HWHNN has gone back to base for the week I am working on my dratted assignment. it is due in on Friday and I've still got to write and film myself giving a PowerPoint presentation based on my report. Oh the deepest of joys!

Faithy glad you are feeling better, even if it is just the drugs talking for now Wink

FriendofDorothy · 26/03/2012 08:44

Does anyone know anythimg about Clomid?

I have been having a rampant weekend (as per doctor's orders) but the shag dictator has not yet picked up ovulation. I usually ovulate around day 14-15 and I am now on day 16.

This cycle I took Clomid from day 4-9 - does anyone know if it would delay ovulation? The doctor said that there was a healthy looking follicle on Thursday last week so I was expecting it to pop.

I am fucking knackered from all the shagging!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 26/03/2012 09:11

I'm not expert dor but didn't euro say it caused variation in her cycle? eur?
I had crazy dreams about being attacked by a fox, rabid gypsy dog biting me on the arse. Must be the morphine. Waiting for a doctor review again today. Not being fobbed off!

OP posts:
lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 26/03/2012 09:32

Avast wenches!

Well done on the rampant sechsing dot. No idea about clomid, are you back in for another scan at any point? Otherwise keep sechsing for a few days, maybe have the odd day off to replenish the Mister's side...

Hope you finally get a decent review faith, fingers crossed they can actually make you better. Impressive crazy dreams!

Grin at cave's busy weekend of vegging on the couch (and a 300mile round-trip), and good luck with the assignment, I had no internet assignment writing yesterday, it went much quicker...

Right time to start the day...

FriendofDorothy · 26/03/2012 09:51

One of my clients has just come in to tell me that his wife is pregnant again. Their youngest child is 8 months old. THEY HAD SEX ONCE! He doesn't even want to have anothe baby.

How fucking unfair is that. I have just had to go to the loo to have a little cry :(

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 26/03/2012 10:15

Totally unfair! Life's a bitch dor :( you're entitled to a cry

OP posts:
CaveMum · 26/03/2012 10:24

Oh poor you dor, that is shite of the worst kind [joins in hair stroking]

There's a lady (I always want to say girl, but she's 18mths older than me!) in my office whose daughter is coming up to 2yrs old. I've just got a feeling that she'll be announcing a second pregnancy in the next few months. I know it's daft, but I'm not sure how I'll manage to deal with it. She announced her first pregnancy just as HWHNN and I were starting out on this ttc malarkey, so it didn't bother me then.
I think if my insane prediction does come to pass I will have to tell her what's going on as I don't want to freak her out by seeming to "ignore" her (and her currently non-existent pregnancy).

Reading that back, I sound totally unhinged! Why the actual deck am I preparing myself for a conversation about a situation that doesn't even exist??? Hmm

CaveMum · 26/03/2012 10:27

My phone is a bit of a prude, or a secret pirate

Actual deck = actual feck

However in the context of this thread, "deck" may be more appropriate Grin

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 26/03/2012 10:52

Oh dot that is SHIT. Stroking of hair (which is apparently allowed Grin)

Liking the pirate phone, cave but can totally sympathise with the unhingedness. I do that too, and really cry a lot when someone announces a pg when I have not been expecting it, as well as panic a lot about all the imminent pg-announcements which do eventually appear.

eurochick · 26/03/2012 11:01

Dor Letrozole fvked up my cycle. I always ovulated on days 14-16 before I took it. On my first cycle on it, it was day 20 and I was stressing that I wasn't going to lay an egg at all. The next cycles, they upped the dose and I oved on days 12/13.
