I have moved Lemon back to 'known' but moved Cherry to unknown as we haven't heard from her for quite a while. Buster was in unknown status but we have heard from her so have moved her to known. On the BFP list we haven't heard from Brownie for such a long time so I do hope she is ok. Coley has been MIA for a while too. London went on the BFP list but we never got details from her and she hasn't been on here for a while. I do remember BellyD popping in not so long ago though.

I am 26 weeks today! By my LMP I am 6 months tomorrow (!) but I don't think the 3rd trimester officially starts until 26+4. So by next week Charlie and I will be going up a trimester and not long after so will PQ. I can't remember when the 2nd officially starts but I think it is around 13+4. Hopefully we will soon have some BFPs to add, but I think that Duggs stats should be a good lift to all of us, showing that the majority of the time the treatment seems to be working. Whether TTC or BFP, we just have to all keep going. And look at Coconut at over 37 weeks now! And Comedy is very close too.

Any comments, changes, edits etc - do feel free!

You can move me back to ttc. It's either mc no6 or ectopic no1. Need to await hcg test results later today. Nothing in my uterus. Again. Same as last time. It's either been an early mc, ie possibly even before I started spotting on Good Friday, and has been absorbed, or I've missed it coming out, or it's an ectopic. The lining is still thick, so presumably the cyclogest has helped to keep it nice and welcoming. I'll stop the cyclogest now obviously so expect I'll start bleeding properly.

Frankly I'd rather it's an ectopic, as at least then I can blame it on pure extraordinarily bad luck rather than another disappearing pregnancy with no reason or explanation. Mr S is mystified but was already thinking of what we can do next time and was adamant I shouldn't give up.

I'm more exhausted than I ever thought possible. No idea how I'm going to get through losing the pg as well as my Dad. I'm going to get counselling for sure, i think I'd be mad not to. The final irony is that having marked up the dates for tapering Pred in my diary I shall take final 5mg on my Dad's birthday.

igggi · 17/04/2012 10:01

Oh Choccy I don't know what to say. I'm so sorry. If anyone is due some good luck it's you x

igggi · 17/04/2012 10:03

Is someone at home with you?

ChoccyPud · 17/04/2012 10:13

Thanks igggi. Don't worry, dh is with me. He's been phoning all the parents bless him. I couldn't bear to have the conversation with my step mum. She was so full of hope for us.

igggi · 17/04/2012 10:23

Well we are staying on this thread till evey one of us has a baby.
Regarding progesterone, last time I started bleeding the morning after stopping it, just so you're prepared if that happens.

Arianrhod · 17/04/2012 10:26

choccy I'm late on, got pulled into a meeting when I walked in this morning, but I just wanted quickly to say lots of luck for today hugs

Oh bldy feck it, I'm queen of the rubbishy cross posts. I'm so sorry choccy, serve me right for not updating my page before I dived on with my quick post. Bugger it, feck it, and bllcks to everything. I'm so very sorry my dear, stay with us and we'll look after you. Big hugs.

snoopygirl · 17/04/2012 10:41

Choccy I so sorry darling. That's just so shit for you on top of all your trying to cope with. Hope hubby is looking after you well. I think the counselling is definitley a good idea to help with all the grief. You go for it and we'll all be here if you need to let it all out. x

ChoccyPud · 17/04/2012 10:42

Ari that made me smile, thank you. Ffs don't hurt yourself though!

Same for me last time too, igggi, like letting the bath plug out... I expect more so this time having been using two cyclogest a day. Better out than in though.

Thanks for being there x

freelancegirl · 17/04/2012 10:53

Oh FFS Choccy, I feel so angry for you and frustrated and sad. Am so so sorry.

It is indeed mystifying. Why the hell does it disappear?! I don't know how you will get through losing both your dad and the pregnancy, but you will - you know you will. Your dad's birthday is going to be so hard anyway, without the added significance of the Pred stopping at that day.

Professional support with everything that has happened is a great idea. Speaking to other people is great too, but counselling is so much better as it just lets you talk.

Glad DH is there being supportive and also that Mr S is already thinking of the next step. I know he also takes it hard when people go through a loss.

So sorry, once again, and if there is anything we can all do here do please just shout xx

batteryhen · 17/04/2012 11:01

choccy I was coming on to wish you luck, but then read your sad post :( I can't believe this has happened to you again, especially with a ll you are going through with losing your dad. I have no words of advice, but know we are all here, so rant or cry etc. I would just like to give you a big squishy hug xxx

Buster76 · 17/04/2012 12:57

Sad choccy

Its so, so shit!!

Thinking of you xx

FrozenNorthPole · 17/04/2012 12:59

I'm so, so sorry to hear that Choccy Sad. It's shit that mc happens to anyone, but even worse when it comes on top of all that you're dealing with at the moment. Nothing I can say can make it better. Sending comfort and healing thoughts your way x

Buster76 · 17/04/2012 13:03

Glad I'm not the only 'crazy bitch' on here, thanks sue Wink Thanks for the injection tips too and the link - ive just popped over there!!

Dont think ive been ovulating free The tests say they are 98% accurate, ive only had 1 smiley face in 4 months Confused We'll see what the SO programme does! Congratulations at getting to 26 weeks - amazing!! Well done Smile

When is your scan duggs?

xx

hopefulfor2nd · 17/04/2012 13:12

Choccy, what an absolute awful thing to happen.
Words fail me but Stay strong and we are always here for you x x

duggs1976 · 17/04/2012 13:14

For ucks sake choccy* ! Sad no words I am afraid.

I am also afraid as had red spotting just now when I wiped. Not much but bright red. Am at a strategy day with work so can't really do much. So fekking tired of this journey.

freelancegirl · 17/04/2012 13:18

Oh Duggs sorry you are having this worry. As we know bleeding can mean many things and isn't necessarily the worst. But it is hard to feel positive I know. When do you have a docs appointment or scan?

Bummer about the ovulation Buster, hopefully the SO programme will sort that out for you.

Waves to Battery, Frozen and Hopeful - hope you are all ok.

Arianrhod · 17/04/2012 13:31

Oh heck duggs, crossing all fingers and toes that it's just one of those odd spotting things that pregnant ladies do seem to get. I really understand with the fecking tiredness - I do wonder sometimes how we get the strength to pick ourselves back up after each knock-down and carry on. Sending you and choccy both lots of virtual strength and hugs, what a thoroughly sh*tty time this is all round.

You can bet your bottom dollar if it were the fellas going through recurrent miscarriages etc that they would have found a 100% guaranteed successful answer to it by now!!! Sorry, I'm not anti the guys, but you all know what I mean :)

OP posts:
ChoccyPud · 17/04/2012 13:37

Sorry to hear that Duggs. It hardly helps the sanity level does it. It needn't be bad, you know that. Does it look like what you get after a smear, ie cervical irritation? If you're doing cyclogest up the front it could just be that. Or implantation bleeding as you're 4+4...

Switch to the tradesman's for the cyclogest and go to two a day is my suggestion. And keep a note of what happens, and any changes, so you can describe to Mr S when you go see him. If it keeps going, ask him or Louise if you should come off the aspirin.

Lots of love and fingers crossed for you x

eurochick · 17/04/2012 13:42

I know what you mean Ari!

I'm so sorry to hear your news choccy. Please do get the counselling when you feel ready. You have a lot to deal with all at once.

Duggs I'm sure it is just one of those things. I know people who have had very uneasy pregnancies due to lots of bleeding but the babies have been fine.

I had my IUI insemination yesterday and i'm pretty sure I ovulated then too, so I am back on the Pred today and looking forward to a sleepless night tonight. I find the first couple of nights on it are always the worst for me.

suemays · 17/04/2012 13:56

Choccy I am so sorry you are going through this again. Why do awful things happen at the same time? I did wonder if you were Ok today as had a feeling something was wrong. Seems like there are a few of us now who keep going back to square one. I agree with Mr S - dont give up as we will all get there eventually. Its just heartbreaking each time it happens and its hard to know how many you can go through. We all know 100% how crap you will be feeling today - go and have a big glass of wine.

Duggs not sure if you remember but my friend who was on her 3rd round of IVF had bleeding (bright red) right up until 14 weeks. It was a blood clot outside of the sac so the baby was fine. She is now 26 weeks and all is fine. FC that you will be the same too. Damn killer cells they have a lot to answer for.

This journey is so hard for us all - wish I could see into a crystal ball sometimes.

ChoccyPud · 17/04/2012 13:57

I'm going to attempt to set up a new thread...

suemays · 17/04/2012 13:57

Euro good luck with the IUI. I agree with the preds, the first few nights are the worst.
