I designed a new assessment (well copied)...i copied it right, then a woman who drives me mad questioned it, so I changed it. Boss has just pointed out it was right the first time. I have been teaching on it, wrong. Arse. Mostly annoyed for not sticking by my convictions in first place. Not officially out there yet so God I hope I can change it before the trust switches to it. Feel out of my depth :(

Another one here who uses FF - I think its really useful, I do have one question though if anyone can help...

I put in my temps each morning, and I also opk and add that to the chart too... I got + on opk on Sunday and Monday but its showing me a big ole green light Sunday right through to today, BUT it hasn't yet spotted whether I've ov'd...

Whats going on? I thought a + opk meant ov was happening on the same day (as the +), but that was 3 days ago and it still doesn't think I've ov'd?

Yep, I'm menkulling but I'm also really really bad with anything mathematical, so the chart gives me The Fear and I get Confused

I am another FF user. I get "textbook" charts with no fecking BFP.

Brown I usually ovulate a day or two after a positive opk. And then FF needs 3 or 4 days of a temp rise before it will confirm ov so it always does it retrospectively.

I think a + is more an indicator that ov is imminent rather than a definite yes. You need a temp rise consistently over 3 days for it to be confirmed. Have your temps been up at all over the last day or so?

Agree, a +ve is an indicator theat you will ov in the next couple of days. That plus ewcm = shagfest in my househould. Then after 3 days of elevated temps ff will confirm that you did ovulate (so 4 days after you think you ovulated). So you can only confirm after the event, not much use when you first start charting but eventually you get to see a pattern.

I use FF but lately haven't temped. Still useful to keep track of swi and cycle lengths.
Using opks along with temps and cm will.give the best info for it to work out when ovulation occurred.+ opk would be a bit before you convince FF you've ovulated.

Thanks everyone, I can't link to my chart as I've only got Internet on my phone at the moment, but my cycles are pretty regular with + opk's on days 12/13.

I don't get any EWCM at all though, in fact I don't notice any changes in cm whatsoever over the course of my cycle - is this unusual?

phoenix, I have spent half my working life feeling out of my depth. When you feel within your depth it's almost a sign it's time for you to move onwards and upwards. What I'm trying to say is that as long as you don't respond to feeling out of your depth by going and crying in the stationery cupboard, but grit your teeth and do everything you can to tackle and save the situation then you are doing your job properly and you will be admired for it.

brownjoy I remember FFJ (fertile fanjo juice) from when I was trying not to get pregnant. The moment I wanted to conceive, FFJ was nowhere to be spotted. I seriously used to have plenty of it. this did not stop me getting diffed though. Perhaps it is just one of those things you get less of over time.

Commiserations dor. I have concluded FB is evil. And lies. One only seems extremes. Some people are so sodding smug and brag all the time about their wonderful lives, some people are just so miserable. I left last year for two months. I missed some Pete but mostly it was quite pleasant.
