Filled up our old one, I'll put our updated list on a separate post so that it's not a huge chunk of text at the top of every page.

Old thread here. Newbies always welcome, much as we'd like to hope nobody ever gets to this stage of TTC!

Thanks ladygee that's what I thought, DH will be home all weekend waiting on me Grin
Currently sat in my private room wearing so rather fetching HUGE paper knickers. DH says I look hot

See you all on the other side :)

mrsden · 02/03/2012 09:18

good luck fatima!!!

whereismywine · 02/03/2012 09:58

Good luck fatima!!! And *its more of a line than I've ever seen. I had a faint one in September on an Internet cheapy but it wasn't as pink like that. I'd be relaunching my nursery fantasies if it was my pee stick! Do keep us updated, you will push us over the one bfp a month you know! Everything crossed x

eurochick · 02/03/2012 10:40

izzy that looks promising to me! You wouldn't expect more than a faint line at 10dpo.

Good luck fatima!

Biscuits how exciting for you.

minipie · 02/03/2012 10:41

izzy those are all lines! all three of them!

to quote many conception threads, a line is a line.

congratulations...!

kittysaysmiaow · 02/03/2012 11:43

Izzy that is definitely a line-aaargh! So excited for you

Fatima - hope it went well.

poutintrout · 02/03/2012 11:59

izzy I have actually just screeched out loud "that's a line"
The lines are pink and definitely visible. It's only 10DPO so I reckon that it's v.v.v.v. promising Grin Grin Grin

Fatima paper knickers. Can you nick me some because it would so save on my washing! Hope all goes well today.

izzybizzybuzzybees · 02/03/2012 12:20

Thanks guys for all the screeching etc but I'm honestly not at all convinced!

I took that last test really late last night...like 11.30pm! DH said to test this morning with the second predictor and it didn't have a line at 5mins. At about 25 it had super super super faint hint of a smudge of something! Not sure what I expected really considering it was only 8 hours later!

My local Asda don't have first response early result test and I took a trip to Morrison's like a complete crazy woman and they only had the clearblue blue dye and I've hears they're rubbish!

Not sure what my next step is really!?!?

Go on a pregnancy test hunt!?!

izzybizzybuzzybees · 02/03/2012 12:22

*heard they are rubbish..not hears!

One more might be important but probably not detail is that I got up to pee about 4 times last night (normally do tbh) but I was thinking my FMU wouldn't really have been concentrated etc as I went to loo at 2pm and 5pm and a couple of other times too!

Biscuitsandtea · 02/03/2012 12:25

Izzy - do you have any more ICs? You could do one of those every morning and see if the line gets darker day by day. Not an exact science though, as even tests from the same pack can have different amounts of dye. But at least they're cheap
So you can use one every day.

And as far as I know they're not prone to giving false positives, especially if they're pink dye?

I'm still keeping everything crossed for you Smile

MuddyWellyNelly · 02/03/2012 14:11

Tried to reply last night but battery died at a critical time. Looks like a line to me! I have the same IC and haven't seen anything like that before....

OP posts:
izzybizzybuzzybees · 02/03/2012 15:06

biscuits I have another 4 or so of the cheapies.

nelly they were amazon ones that I got online when I bought opks. I haven't seen anything on them any other time I've tested.

I just had a drs appt regarding my wonderful prolapse from when my daughter was born. She said it won't interfere with ttc or a pregnancy ad womb isn't affected just retroverted the same as the drs apparently and cervix is only in odd position cos of that.

I then drove to local shopping centre and popped into boots, they had the first response ones but a single pack was 9.99 and a double 10.99 but no doubles left I even asked at pharmacy counter like a loonball

I then went to superdrug and got a twin pack of first response for 10.99 BOGOF and as if four tests wasn't enough I bought two twin packs of superdrugs own early result ones only cos they were on offer making them 7.99 for four because I'd heard on fertility friend that they were reliable.

So now I have one Asda test, 4 first responses, 4 superdrug ones and don't forget about the 4 internet cheapies.

To look even more like a loony I also bought tampons and pads!!!

ladygee · 02/03/2012 15:36

izzy - I'm just back from shopping with my sister and I stocked up on the First Response at Superdrug too! After seeing your post earlier, I came on here to tell you about them being BOGOF but you've already found them - great minds think alike!

izzybizzybuzzybees · 02/03/2012 15:44

ha ha lady great minds do think alike!

How many did you buy? I came out with 8 tests in total lol and dont forget about the tampons etc.The checkout girl must have thought i was nuts!

ladygee · 02/03/2012 15:49

I demonstrated iron will and the penny-pinching genes I've inherited from my mother's side of the family and only bought 4! I did however check how many they had on the shelf and there were lots so I know where to go on Monday when I run out!! I also bought panty liners as they were on offer and I'm going through them at a rate of knots.

Are you testing again in the morning?

izzybizzybuzzybees · 02/03/2012 15:56

Now is that 4 tests or 4 packets of two!?!

I may try again tomorrow if no AF. Not hopeful tho. but what will really happen is i will test tonight!

ladygee · 02/03/2012 16:06

Just two packets, four tests in total izzy

I've never seen any kind of line on a pregnancy test so with all your lines, I'm giddy on your behalf!

FatimaLovesBread · 02/03/2012 16:10

Oooh nice to know about the Bogof, may have to go buy some in preparation.

EC went well, currently on the sofa with painkillers and a hot water bottle watching gossip girl season one, I think I've got DH in to it Grin

Just stumbled across a thread where a girl has been of the implant for two months and is wondering if she might be infertile, trying not to get Angry

FatimaLovesBread · 02/03/2012 16:11

That should be off not of

mrsden · 02/03/2012 16:23

izzy I've heard the superdrug ones are really sensitive so might be worth a try with one of those?

How was it fatima Do you know how many eggs they collected? I hope you're feeling ok and not too sore.

I have a bad headache, thank god it's Friday. Planning a weekend of lounging around. Sorry, for short post but need to go lie down in a darkened room!

ladygee · 02/03/2012 16:24

Great news fatima - glad EC went well. Sounds like you've got yourself nicely set up there. Do you know how many eggs they collected?

Definitely stock up on the bogof, Boots have some at buy one get one half price too.

I haven't seen that thread yet - think I'll avoid it to keep my stress levels down!

ladygee · 02/03/2012 16:25

Cross-post mrsd - sorry about your headache. Your weekend sounds like the perfect remedy. Hope you're feeling better soon.

FatimaLovesBread · 02/03/2012 19:05

Oh yeah forgot to say Grin
They got 26 eggs!!! So 13 for me and 13 for the recipient. I hoping she's really happy and surprised by the number of eggs :)

Feeling rather painful now. It's ok when I'm laid on the sofa but when I first get up to go to the toilet it hurts, I've just crawled up the stairs. Think I might just wee on the sofa Wink

lisacn · 02/03/2012 19:14

fatima that is alot of eggs, glad it went ok, nappies might help you out Wink

izzybizzybuzzybees · 02/03/2012 20:17

Thats a fantastic number of eggs fatima for both of you! Fingers crossed that they turn into healthy little bundles of joy!
