I'm with you biscuits - 6 days before AF could be 8DPO, and a lot of pregnancies won't even have implanted and started generating HSG at that point.

:o cupcakes I bet you are walking like John Wayne...

Stasi · 15/02/2012 12:50

Afternoon everyone. Sorry I've kept you all waiting, DH and I had a nice night last night with one of the M&S dinners and 2 rom coms - this unfortunately meant I had 1/2 bottle of sparkles. So I was up late, and hungover, rushed into work (late) and had 2 hours of meetings.

I didn't PIAR this morning, but I did do one late yesterday afternoon (I just couldn't sit there with them in my bag). Another BFN. I don't feel at all pg, don't have any sore or tingly boobs, or any symptoms at all. No real emotional symptoms either, if anything I feel more level headed and analytical than normal, which I think is the opposite of early pg.

Had a chat with DH about it last night too, another day on the count will hopefully make tomorrow's test more convincing, and the tests they give you there must surely be quite sensitive. So we agreed I'll do another test tomorrow morning before my HSG, and the one they give me, and I think we'll call that definitive. I've had 4 BFN so far, 2 more should seal the deal.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 15/02/2012 13:08

Oh Stasi so sorry about the BFN. And the hangover, but at least you had a fun night Wink

The tests will be sensitive at the hospital I would have thought. It was probably just one of those things that are bodies like to do to keep us on our toes.

Are you nervous about tomorrow? You will be guaranteed a BFP after that! Do they give you the results straight away?

Stasi · 15/02/2012 13:22

I'm not really sure what to expect tomorrow. It takes quite a bit to faze me these days, so I'll just pop along and see what they say. DH has taken the day off work, as have I, so we'll do something nice together tomorrow afterwards. I'm not sure if they'll let him come in with me, what do you think?

As far as I know I get to see the results as they happen, though the nurse/doctor might not really explain them to me. I'll ask questions if I can, because it's important to me to understand what they find. I do worry that there'll be something wrong, but I just want to know it so I can deal with it, rather than wonder.

I am concerned about the consultant saying if things weren't clear we'd be sent straight to IVF. Why couldn't they unblock them? I want more than one baby, if we have to IVF then surely we always will have to. However, I'll cross that bridge if we come to it!

PopcornMouse · 15/02/2012 17:01

Good luck stasi we'll all be brooking it goes well for you tomorrow :)

Does anyone have a tried and tested coconut cake recipe? first pg craving?

Munx · 15/02/2012 19:12

Hello all!

So sorry for radio silence, but to prevent massive freaking out banned myself from MN.

Anyway had an early scan today and heartbeat seen! Just over 8 weeks now. Very very relieved.

Hope you are all OK? Bet I have missed loads xx

Biscuitsandtea · 15/02/2012 19:16

Oh Munx that is AWESOME news! We've all been thinking of you and I'm so glad you've popped in to let us know.

Well done you Grin

Munx · 15/02/2012 19:20

Thanks Biscuits still worried.... But it's one hurdle jumped!

TheLittleFriend · 15/02/2012 20:21

Hi everyone.

Munx I am so pleased to hear you're ok - we've been worried! Great scan news x

stasi sorry to hear about the bfn's, but best of luck for tomorrow (pee sticks and hsg!)

I hope everyone else is doing well too. Sorry for not posting for a while. I'm feeling a bit in limbo and impatient for af to arrive, so we can get rat smacking again. It was 4 weeks yesterday since the mc, so fx it will be soon.

GreenOlives · 15/02/2012 20:23

Yay! That's fabulous news Munx Grin Grin

Stasi when I had my HSG DH wasn't allowed in as they are x-raying so don't want to expose anyone else to the radiation. The staff I had with me were explaining what was happening on the screen and told me that it looked like the dye had flowed straight through, although they did warn me that the images would have to be formally reported on by the radiologist (but that report was no different to what they had told me!) So hopefully you should know tomorrow what the score is with your tubes!

I've decided that collectively we must be scaring these AFs into submission - they are clearer getting the hint that they are not wanted and are pissing off quick! I reckon one more karate kick from Biscuits might make them clear off for good Brooking hard for no AFs at all next month for all of us! Grin

GreenOlives · 15/02/2012 20:25

X-posts, waves at Little Great to hear from you, hope AF makes one last visit to you very shortly then stays well away for 9 months!

Biscuitsandtea · 15/02/2012 20:35
Imps7 · 15/02/2012 22:22

YAY Munx, so pleased to hear from you!! Hurrah for excellent 8 week scan results! Go Munxette!

Biscuits how was the fish pie? You inspired me to have kedgeree for dinner - I know that it's supposed to be a breakfast/brunch dish but I had one salmon fillet to share between the two of us and figured that kedgeree would be just the ticket. Very yum it was too - good ol' Gordon Ramsay.

Little

BeedleTheBard · 16/02/2012 05:46

munx huge congratulations, I'm so happy for you Grin

stasi good luck for today, I'm sure you'll be fine

imps don't worry I've not been in a hotel for the last month! Its only 1 or 2 nights a week, I would never have agreed to being away for longer, we need to get out SWI in. Luckily I can choose the days I'm there so I can generally work around important dates (read sex week Grin )

sweetie yes they do celebrate valentines here - though the fisrt year we were together (in england) the lying little toerag he told me they don't, and I believed him Shock

scarlett hope you find an agreeable peestick soon

biscuits and musical you're both looking lovely

My SIL had a baby boy yesterday, when I heard she was pregnant in the summer Ithought we'd be pregnant soon after and we'd be on maternity leave together Hmm, but clearly 9 months to a years gap between our children is much better for them to be able to give us loads of baby stuff Grin

Must go and get in the shower, bye

Biscuitsandtea · 16/02/2012 05:58

Imps I have to confess that due to circumstances beyond my control, and errrrr, the wrong sort of leaves on the line, our fish pie has had to be postponed until probably at least the weekend, more likely I'll rebuy the fish and do it next week.

Probably for the best though as I did sausage and mash instead and probably managed 5 mouthfuls myself because of my cold Sad

Hope everyone else is in fine fettle this morning Smile

ScarlettInSpace · 16/02/2012 07:15

Hi all, stasi hope all goes well today and don't forget to take painkillers 30-40. Mins before Wink

I got up at 2.30am and thought it was morning, did first response test which was BFN but still no sign of AF so now officially a day late. Who knows...

Flying visit for now catch up later x

farfallarocks · 16/02/2012 07:51

scarlett sorry about BFN, boo, its not over until its over though!

munx that is the best news ever, been thinking about you lots

Stasi good luck today!

Hi All
Munx so nice to hear from you and am so pleased little Munxette is coming along just fine.

Stasi good luck today hope all goes well.

Scarlett sorry to hear of you middle of the night BFN, no AF is still hopeful, brooking very hard got you.

Poor Biscuits hope the cold is a bit better, cold is the pits. Looking mighty fine in the karate outfit too.

Beedle great news about SIL and their DS. Hope you get to have snuggles soon. Grin at your DH and the none valentines, men what are they like???

Nothing to report here, boring, boring, boring. Waiting for the weekend and SWI to start.

CupcakesAndCocktails · 16/02/2012 08:21

Lovely to see you Munx and little Munxette. That is fantastic news about the scan Grin

Stasi good luck today. Here's to clean pipes and a quick BFP Wink

Beedle good attitude, I'm hoping to get lots of hand me downs too. It'll make my DH very happy as he works in environment/climate change field and he's all about recycling Smile

Scarlet sorry about the BFN, but it's still not over. It's just late ovulation, you'll find an agreeable pee stick in a day or two.

Sweetie I hate the wait before SWI starts. I'm always desperate to get on with it!

Big news from the Cupcake household. We have got a peak this morning!!!! At bloody last. I'm on day 20 of a normally 29 day cycle. I'm hoping ovulation has just been delayed otherwise my LP will be a bit short. Those rats better get running as they will be getting smacked big time tonight WinkWinkWink

GreenOlives · 16/02/2012 08:51

Good work with the karate Biscuits, AF's all over the country will be terrified into submission! Grin

PopcornMouse · 16/02/2012 08:57

Hi munx I'm so glad things are going smoothly this time, welcome back :)

Beedle that is so true, yay for inherited baby clothes :o

Yay cupcakes get smacking!

Nothing much to report here, except that I am sooooo tired I could curl up under my desk and go to sleep and even ignore the plugs and cables jabbing me in the ribs

farfallarocks · 16/02/2012 09:03

pop tiredness= good sign!!

cakes how are you doing?

OP posts:
NoMaybeAboutIt · 16/02/2012 09:23

Morning all!

Munx it is so so good to see you back. Am so pleased that all is well with mini-munx.

Stasi lots of luck for today, and brooking hard for you, heres to that BFP this cycle Smile

Pop sorry you are so sleepy. Maybe a power nap is in order?

Wohoo for the peak Cup after tnight you can have a well earned rest Grin

Sweetie hope AF makes her last visit to you ASAP, then Biscuits can see her off with her superb kung fu Wink

So sorry about the BFN Scarlett, do you temp? I can't remember.

Beedle congrats on being an auntie!! A bigger gap is much more fun, and me downs and advice Smile

Olives how are you?

Did you get all your shopping done Imps I love online shopping, no more supermarkets on a saturday morning!

I am working from home today, planning my thesis [pooing my pants] Thought it would be more productive than sitting at my desk twiddling my thumbs. Does anyone else work better from home? Throughout the whole of my student life, I have never once worked in the library. I find pyjamas and tea are much more conducive to work Grin Just thing, 10.5 months to go.....

Whim how are you, I haven't seen your face for a while.

PopcornMouse · 16/02/2012 09:32

Omfg maybe that's genius. I love Rachel's coconut yoghurt.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 16/02/2012 09:40

Isn't it Pops it is now my favourite thing. Used to be all about the 'low fat' varieties, but this wins now hands down Grin

And the greek yoghurt and honey one....
