Morning all! Anymore snow for you? We've had another couple of cm overnight - all looking very pretty again.

Hope you're okay this morning Scarlett and the wine hasn't caught up with you too much...

Sorry about CD1 Beedle. I'm brooking no argument that you won't need those tests - as soon as they're booked you'll get that BFP fo' shizzle.

Yay for your appt today Pops!!! Enjoy every second of it!

Whim is Mr Whim's MN name also the spy name that he'll be using at the Pentagon??

Had a lovely evening last night chez the Impses - had friends round for dinner who we haven't seen for ages and it was great to catch up. Also made a brilliant dessert which I was really pleased with as I thought it would turn out like crap but it was yum! Plus I was good with the booze again - had a couple of smallish glasses and loads of water and herbal tea - in the good ol' days it would have been wine all the way through. God I've changed!

Any AF news Stasi? Any PIAR news Sweetie and Bean and Maybe???

SweetieDoesIt · 10/02/2012 07:56

Morning all - CD1 here too Sad knew it was coming but still a little disappointed especially with boob symptoms this cycle. Hey ho onwards to updiffedness!!!

Beedle sorry to hear the witch got you too. Hope you have something nice planned for the weekend to cheer you up.

Pop good luck with the appointment for "officialness" hope it goes really well.

Whims loving that your DH is a regular in AIBU GrinGrin I am too scared to even venture in for a look

Imps your evening in sounds fab. Am loving the new Imps all virtuous and booze few-ish--

Working from home again today due to snow can not be arsed going in to the office so will catch up laters.

SweetieDoesIt · 10/02/2012 07:57

NoMaybeAboutIt · 10/02/2012 09:24

Pop good luck for docs appointment today. Can't wait to hear all about it!

Cakes am brooking for your scan. All will be well Smile

Imps sounds like a lovely evening was had. What did you make?

Scarlett how are you feeling this morning? Grin

No PIAR activity for me. Not till Valentines (if I get that far before AF) Is my chart weird> Have a looky for me

GreenOlives · 10/02/2012 09:39

Morning ladies!

8 pages of posts to catch up on Shock You are a very chatty bunch! DS is not impressed at all at Mummy looking at the laptop for so long when there is snow outside to play in!! So I'm off to get the sledge out of the shed and head to the park! Grin Will try and catch up more later.

P.s Bean we got a Groclock for DS when his early wakings were becoming a bind - within a fortnight we had him trained to 7am waking - yay! It is a miracle gadget Grin

TTFN xxxx

NinjaChipmunk · 10/02/2012 09:48

Hello rat smackers! cakes hope your scan goes well, pop over to the ante natal thread and say hi when you feel like it, we'd love to see you. How far along are you?
Anyone heard from munx? Hope she's doing ok.
For my hsg, I had to call on cd1, tell them how long af was likely to last so they could give appt after. Mine ended up on something like cd24 as they were mega busy. We were told no sex at all that cycle so no chance of pregnancy but still had to take a pg test when I got there. But I think mine was done quite late compared to what I've read from other people on here. Good luck to all HSG-ers. I truly hope it blasts your pipes and an egg decided to nest in there straight after.
Hope everyone is well? I can't even begin to catch up from last time as it'll take me about a week just to read it all! I can't quite believe I'm 20 weeks already and have my next scan on Tuesday, yikes!

farfallarocks · 10/02/2012 09:53

Sorry about AF sweetie and beedle:(

But welcome to the first day of your pregnancy, a beautiful xmas baby will be yours :)

PopcornMouse · 10/02/2012 10:09

I'm now an official GP-approved preggo :o
Blood test next Friday to monitor my thyroid, and apparently because of that I'll be referred to obsetrics straight away too (not sure what difference that will make to my care, the GP was new-ish and not very sure). And my booking in appointment will be held in my home, how weird is that? (or is it normal? I didn't think they did that sort of thing anymore because of budgets etc)

whims I don't think I've ever heard a better description of the Cotswolds!
I love lurking in AIBU is he super opinionated? :o

:o scarlett I was drinking right up to my BFP ? I was saintly for a few months, but after you get to your 6th cycle ttc I sort of decided it was quality of life and all that?

Sorry AF has arrived sweetie and beedle - good luck with your referral though beedle.

Your chart looks really good to me maybe not weird at all ? why do you ask?

cakes82 · 10/02/2012 10:26

Brilliant news Pop :o

NoMaybeAboutIt · 10/02/2012 10:35

Pop top news!! I think from stalking the PSEPP that some of the preggos had theirs at home too. Again, I think i is the old post code lottery thing again. I am so excited for you! When is your due date?

What time is your scan Scarlett?

I think my chart looks like AF may be coming, though I have no idea what I am looking for Grin All I know is my boobs are super sore (I have never had sore norks until last month) and I am a grumpy mare. Poor DH Grin

PopcornMouse · 10/02/2012 10:49

She didn't say maybe she just said it would be confirmed at the first scan. And I didn't really ask coz I've just been going by FF (which gives you a "congratulations" when you enter a +HPT lol).

Noo your temps still lovely and high, it doesn't indicate AF atm I wouldn't have thought. Some people (like Stasi) get a low temp the day AF comes but mine generally stayed high until after AF was done, so you can't always tell from a chart at all :)

farfallarocks · 10/02/2012 11:03

Hooray pop and booking in at home sounds lush!

My friend had to increase her thyroxin during pregnancy as apparently the baby relies on your stores and pregnancy can through it out of kilter. I think she had some extra scans as well which she was very happy about (she had a lovely healthy little girl in October and has managed to breast feed fine)

OP posts:
Stasi · 10/02/2012 11:11

Morning peeps. Well AF started today, but I'm actually kind of relieved as that should mean it's finished before Thursday. I've got the letter which says I can't have the exam if I am "having my period". The actual flow will definitely be gone, but I can get 3-4 days of brown discharge after, which I don't know if would cause a problem.

I don't really want to phone and cancel if I don't have to, maybe if the office is quiet at lunch I'll call them and ask for their advice. I really want it done asap, but them refusing to do it won't help that!

That clock is amazing bean I already want to buy one for the soon to be conceived baby. I sent a link to my sister who's going to see if she can get one second hand or something. She's not as excited about it as I expected her to be spoil sport.

Maybe I wouldn't do that course unless it's expensive and you want the licence in future. In some work places once you've got the licence you're almost forced to do the work that comes with it, as others won't be licensed to. Oh, and your chart looks fine to me. I'd probably have put the cover line a bit higher than FF did, but it probably knows best in all honesty!
Scarlett sounds like you had a good evening.
Imps You know you've been TTC too long when you read a sentence with 'cm' in it and wonder how mucus is making things look pretty. :)
Sweetie and Beedle sorry about AF, still we can be cycle buddies and get pg together this month :)
Hi Olives and Ninja hope you're both well. This thread has been moving fast recently, so don't worry about not catching up!
Pops glad the appointment went well. I've no idea what to expect after a pg confirmation, but having a meeting in your home should be nice? Especially if you've got snow your way too.

SweetieDoesIt · 10/02/2012 11:12

Wowzer Pop you are official and everything. Glad it all went well, I didn't know they did house calls either. Excuse to have a cuppa and bikkies

Maybe my Ovulation Chart here took a real drop before my AF arrived so I knew she was lurking. As this is my first chart I am not sure if this will be the pattern for me.

Imps7 · 10/02/2012 11:20

Sorry Stasi and Sweetie. Onwards and upwards, eh?

Maybe your chart looks fab to me - how long is your LP normally?

PopcornMouse · 10/02/2012 11:21

Oooo far that's what I like to hear! Any idea how many extra scans she had? I'm going to google it :o

NoMaybeAboutIt · 10/02/2012 12:14

Exciting stuff Pop and if you get more scans, then top banana Grin

Ninja how are you my lovely?

Stasi so sorry it's CD1. But hurrah for the HSG, you will be getting that BFP in no time at all. I agree, the license isn't worth it, I never plan on using it again so I will say no if pressed.

Imps I always thought it was 15 days, but I always took the day of ov as the first DPO, which isn't what FF does, so maybe it is 14 after all. No spotting or anything to speak of yet, but who knows. Since getting out of bed I have felt really warm though (despite the freezing temperatures of Essex!)

To cheer myself up I thought I would have a work out (Jillian's bums and thighs of steel) but I ended up crying half way through Blush now I know she's scary, but really Grin

beangrower · 10/02/2012 13:12

Booo to Stasi and Beedle's unwelcome visitor. Keep your chins up if you can. TTC won't go on forever...

I have had a weird letter which says my HsG has been cancelled; I have no idea why. I have to rebook with the GP - the twat I have made a formal complaint about. Hmm. That's not going to happen.

Tbh I give up. The NHS are not on my side. Maybe I'll pay for a private hycosy but I'm not sure it's worth it.

beangrower · 10/02/2012 13:13

Oh sorry - meant to say Pops that sounds v +. And fx for *Maybe's& BFP. xxx

PopcornMouse · 10/02/2012 13:13

Don't give up bean - just take the letter in to a different GP, it won't matter which one re-refers you :)

GreenOlives · 10/02/2012 13:26

Man, sledging is FUN! I was really daring and DS and I went down some serious hills - very fast, not sure who enjoyed it the most! So it's actually a good thing I'm not updiffed otherwise I would have to be a boring Mummy and abstain from dangerous snow-related activities Wink PMA and all that! DS and I have just had spaghetti letters on toast followed by Rolo chocolate pud! Not very nutritionally balanced but very yummy! Grin

Am very Sad to hear about all the AFs arriving today - that is pants! However it just means that there will be a flurry of BFPs all together next month! I'm wondering whether we are experiencing cyber cycle synchronizing, everyone's cycle definitely seems to be getting closer Grin I am of course the exception to that rule, CD18 here, had Smile OPKs on Weds and yesterday. Have managed a fair amount of SWI but had a spectacular failure last night - managed to have a blazing row with DH after he made some comment about whether I'd eaten garlic after we had a snog. I was quite rightly indignant completely overreacted due to being knackered from 2 long days at work and we ended up sulking and going to sleep with no SWI! And I'd used Pre-seed so had gooey pants this morning for no good reason at all
Ah the joys of TTC! Will aim for a make-up last ditch attempt shag tonight!

Am very pleased to hear you are all official at Doctors now Pop, home visit to book in sounds fab!

Maybe I have no idea why a workout would ever cheer anyone up, I HATE exercise unless it's sledging or shagging But for a lady who does enjoy a workout I would say that crying during one is most definitely a preggo symptom Grin You could always PIAR and check?

Oh and Stasi, end of AF brown discharge is fine for HSG, it's just full AF flow that's no good. I still had brown snail trail with mine and there were no probs.

Laters ladies!

farfallarocks · 10/02/2012 13:26

How irritating bean?? Could it be an admin error?

Stasi sorry about AF, we all seem to be synching here!!

Day 10 here, highs on the monitor, practisiing being nonchalant for some weekend SWI

OP posts:
GenericDietCola · 10/02/2012 13:27

Bean please don't give up - go back to the GP (or a better one) and demand to be referred. The Gro-Clock is amazing - DD has one and doesn't get up until she sees the 'orange sun' now - she loves it and so do we!

Boooo and HIIIIII-YAAAA (karate chop) to Sweetie, Beedle and Stasi's AFs. They won't be back, you mark my words. Stasi glad you are going to be OK for the HSG.

Yay to Pop for being doctor-endorsed! (DAPSEPP)

Imps and Maybe can we have a sympsum?

Just being quick as am at work, but AF now gone - hurrah - so shall be rat smacking ahoy next week on hols.

GenericDietCola · 10/02/2012 13:30

X posts Olives and Far.

Olives sledging sounds fun! Hope you get some SWI in tonight (it is sex night Friday after all).

Far you go (nonchalant) girl! We are almost cycle buddies (I'm about day 6 but usually an early popper).

GreenOlives · 10/02/2012 13:31

X-posts with Bean. Pops is right, just see another GP for your referral. Not sure why it's been cancelled though Hmm It's not the NHS that's letting you down just the crappy GP - see a nicer one and get re-referred, don't waste your money going private. Keep brooking lovely lady! Smile
